Ordered a comic pack Thanos (the one that comes with Adam Warlock) about a week ago and it finally got here today. Scratch off another figure I've been wanting for a good while off the list.

That's my favorite Thanos too- with the dark body and gold accents.

Yup and I love it. I do wish he came with the Infinity Gauntlet like the regular release though.

Definitly would love a revived M.U. line for $12.99, at a similar price as Fortnte. Those collectors too would likely buy the same style figure at the same price.

I'd like that too for hopefully a more premium 3.75 line.

I hope Jazwares gets the marvel 4” license, I would love 4” figures based on the fortnite marvel game skins ESPECIALLY Domino or Venom. Hasbro is so disappointing lately. Even the occasional 6” figure I would want like Beast is impossible to find, and I’d be weary for them to do the “premium” BS where they toss in an extra head or hand and double the price

Agreed. Wouldn't want to pay twice in a Premium line just for that. Hopefully they can have extra items for 5poa troopers. Lots of times bundled stuff like this affords extra stuff included,

Hmmmm, I wondered if there is a possibility of better articulated 4 inch Marvel line. So I checked Hasbro Q3 and Q4 2020 Earnings Call Transcripts to see how satisfied they are with Marvel action figure segment. In Q3 record I found this "Partner brands declined behind good growth in Star Wars but a decline in MARVEL and Frozen revenues." And in Q4 record I did not find anything(!). They mentioned that Partner brands segment did not grow, but then praised SW and TF brands. So what underperformed? I guess Frozen and Marvel again. It is connected to the lack of Marvel movies and TV series (they mention this), but it seems that in no way 2020 was a succesful year for Marvel action figures. Do you have a similar feeling or did I miss something?

Somehow I ended up on a ML group on FB, which ended up a good thing indirectly, BUT, from what I heard here and n AFI I knew it was bad but man there just ain't enough cheese to go with that much whine!

Hasbro should surely pull in more with 3.75 scale.

^^^ AFI did have some interesting comments about folks stopping or cherry picking 6 inch. All the more reason to bring back MU 3.75.

Yeah the sheer advantage in terms of space for most people with the smaller scales is huge. They should definitely market it towards a younger crowd of fans too since us Millenials & Zoomers will probably never own a house. like i can fit most of my collection in a couple of bags and have like 50 in a diorama.

So much this. If it wasn't for the "wall of customs" for my project the untouched Hasbro figs would be kept in two shoe boxes. The shoe is starting to drop (no pun intended, or is there...) for ML collectors.

I did that. Well, sculpted on the stones and then painted them, but same diff. It was odd they never put the gems on a the closed fist. You'd think one of the many repaints could have gotten one.

I've been thinking about getting the classic version to use as Mongul (trying to build up some Superman villains) so I may end up with the gauntlet anyway.

If you get it you don't have to do any heating to put it on the comic Thanos. It's the same fig so the glove is still made to come off the arm. Pops right off.

Damn, it's been a while since I've been here.

So like, catch me up, fam, do people here generally LIKE the "retro" figures, or not? I'm considering getting Ice Man, Magneto, and the Human Torch just because they don't have better versions for the price, and I wasn't gonna pose them much anyway.

Got a little conspiracy theory going that someone at Hasbro is trying to bring back interest in this scale of Marvel figures with them, but I can't be certain...But of course, I only really got to that point by doing a lot of overthinking while writing an MU retrospective in the background of other projects, and realizing that Disney's generification of the Marvel brand around that time might've been a big factor in MU's slow decline and death, so I could just be crazy.

Oh yeah, and I have a public Instagram account for toys and stuff. Some of you might not be into it, but hey, at least it's a way to share my EMH style Ms. Marvel with you guys.
