Posting the shelf pics prompted me to take a break from painting these heads (between 30-40 heads, which is a lot with how I'm painting these) and started some sculpting. I won't say who it is, but it's a lot of sculpting. I've spent 5 1/2 hours already and figure another 4 hours or so to finish. But this is really it for sculpting for the batch, so it's not too bad.
I think this is the first time I've really worked on a figure since finishing the Blob batch and I half-assed a few of them at the end I need to revisit and finish properly. That was almost a year ago... Time flies. |

Will hopefully have something new and improved to show in the next few days but in the meantime I have a question for the collected wisdom on here . Looking for suggestions for heads for Netflix/Disney+ Foggy Nelson, Misty Knight, Collen Wing and Karen Page. Any ideas more than gratefully received. Thanks.

Trying to finish up some teams, thunderbolts and xforce, by adding some ladies to the lineup. Heads are fantastic 3d cast. Tried to copy bearkos boom boom best I could.

Here are a few customs that I haven't posted yet. One is Dr. Nagan (aka, Gorilla Man). The head is from a Hulk (not sure of the name, but it's the one where he has armor and brown pants) and the body is one of the Animal Warriors of the Kingdom gorillas. I dremeled the head out as much as possible, but it still sits a little high. Thankfully, it's not noticeable from the front. I suppose I could cut the neck peg down, but I really don't want to mess with it in case it breaks.
The 2nd figure is inspired by Ajax (aka, Francis) from Deadpool. It's not meant to be exact. When I first saw that Jurassic Park armor, it made me think of Ajax, so I built the figure around it. |

Perfect with Guardsman too- perfect guards.
It's crazy - neither of my local Walmart's have these in stock.

These all look great. I'm angling for a first appearance Songbird, but this is very nicely done.

The figure will stand good on its own. I like using stands with my figures. Normally, I just use a stand with a foot peg, but, with him, I'm using a Kaiser doll stand because I have him in the back row on top of a bookcase. If something happened and he fell, it'd be a huge pain getting him out. I like having the extra protection.

So uh, spoilers I guess for Multiverse of Madness, but I guess everyone knows already anyway but uh...
Why was that one actor supposed to be "the favorite" everyone pushed Marvel to be Reed? He got the look down of Current Comics Reed but they could have done that with just about anybody, and nothing he did in his brief time was standout. I've never heard of him before and was wondering why he was supposed to be who "everyone" wanted.

That looks amazing! Did you repaint his head? Also, where did you get the spell effect from
I have the two pack of Strange plus his astral (clear) version but the face painting is pretty "meh'.
