The price will probably drop before they hit my area anyway.

I have been surprised to see the Symbiote Spiderman price still at $60. He costs more that Thor and is close to Hulk's price. I remember it dropped once at 20% off and still didn't sell. Kinda strange but I suppose time will tell.
I guess what I really meant is Hasbro needed to adjust the SRP for the entire line. Lower the line to $35 and maybe have the Hulk at $50. The eventual Sentinel release will probably like 80....

I absolutely agree. Hulk is sitting steady at $59 on Walmart.com not including taxes.
If it would drop to $50 one would be on its way to my house. It probably will be anyway if it doesn't drop by the weekend.

$35 and $50 would get these moving fast.

I am a fan of 12" figures, but not Hot Toys due to their delicacy. I would LOVE if Hasbro goes head first into a 12" Movie line. I would kill for a 12 inch Movie Winter Soldier and a 12" Movie Spiderman.

I am simply a big Mark for this line and hope it succeeds.

With the reveal of MCU Black Panther, I wonder if that's the new direction for the line or if they'll try and balance both comic and MCU. With the few and far between releases in this line, I'm not sure how either would really work.

I think that for the size and the price point, there is an expectation of more detail so Hasbro chose to use a more visually interesting costume for BP. I would imagine that most figures will stick with their comic costumes whenever they can.

Ha ha yeah dude I have to be really careful with my spending. I see deals like this and they are hard to pass up. I love when people post their finds on here so I know where to go to get the deals. I did see a 12" deadpool on clearance at target for $25 the other day, that was really tempting too.

I would love some movie stuff. Holding out hope for a Winter Soldier from the Winter Soldier movie....that was a bit redundant.

IMO, the only "negative" thing about the inclusion of MCU figures is that it would mean more waves of MCU Iron Man, MCU Captain America, etc before a new Black Widow...really wanna 12in. Black Widow...

My local Gamestop just got this in Friday. I have no need for it, but was surprised it was there.

I don't see them going back to do MCU versions of those characters since they aren't releasing that many 12" figures each year. Hasbro chose comic costumes that were heavily influenced by the movies for Cap, IM, and Thor. Even Daredevil has a couple of nods to his Netflix costume. I'd say that for most figures they'll pick modern comic costumes that have a little MCU influence but will ocassionally pick a MCU design for certain characters.

I hope your right. I'd much prefer an extended universe of comic characters for this line.

What is the price on those? I stopped by my Gamestop this past weekend and the didn't have them yet. I have been really hard on this figure because of the painted sleeves but it appears that it looks better in person. I would like to pick it up just to have the variation but I doubt I will. I am still not that crazy about it.

My local comic shop had Cap listed at $40.

I laughed and walked out.

Hulk is $47 and change on Amazon now. That’s 36% off. I should have waited already bit for two at $60.

BBTS has had it for $40 for a while now. I expect Target to do better than $36.

I grabbed it last night for $29 after tax. They still weren’t moving off the shelves, I expect them to start closing them out here soon. You might be able to grab them at a stupid deal here soon.
