I guess I'll throw Darkhawk in with either some West Coast Avengers or part of the Defenders then, since I don't think they've ever come out with the members for any of the other teams lol. Just curious though: why did they make him apart of the Guardians wave?

Could be on hand but the street date has not hit or it could be that some are in a returned or damaged status and not able to go on the sale floor.

He's a cosmic character. (War of Kings) It's probably the only place to get him in a wave unless they were to do a New Warriors wave (Spiderman maybe?)

@Dr Kain: That really pisses me off man. Sunfire is an excellent figure. Not to sound like a broken record, but Hasbro is really getting bad with the QC issues on these things lately.

While I had no luck today, the wife managed to find Old Man Logan in the wild while some guy stalked her around Target hoping she would put it down. Thankfully, she didn't...



This is a pretty cool figure, and while I didn't like the initial images of it when it first surfaced, it's grown on me having it in hand. The scale continued from the Juggernaut wave is done yet again, and the old man's head does work on the that wave's Wolverine as well, in case you want an old man in uniform. The headsculpt would actually look pretty decent if you paint the hair black as well, should you want to give Logan a more youthful appearance.

My only gripes is that the jacket gets in the way of the articulation, as Logan suffers from gorilla arms syndrome because of it. You can fudge it a little bit by turning then inwards, but it's noticeable. The joints at the hip were a little loose as well, but he still does a decent job standing despite being top heavy from the rubber coat.

I'm returning Sunfire as soon as I can tomorrow and I think I'm just going to wait until they go up for preorder at BBTS. It has to be any day now, right? RIGHT?!

Oh wow... that old man Logan looks good. I think I am gonna have to buy him just for his torso and outfit and then hope for an unmasked regular Wolvie headsculpt later on.

Does Old Man Logan remind anyone else of Cotton Hill for some reason?

I have a complaint on my otherwise perfect Polaris. Her cape. The little peg that's to plug into her back is made up of that very gummy flexible plastic. As such even if you put it under the hair (which I think is supposed to lock it in place somewhat better) it keeps falling off. Thinking of putting a dab of superglue on the peg.

ANyone else having the same? Suggestions?

Meanwhile I can't get over the amazing detail that went into Dazzler. She probably has the best attention to detail on a sculpt I have seen. Still, she was not my #1 most wanted figure for years, so she still loses by default, but she's absolutely incredible.

Still on the search for Cyclops, Sunfire, Collossus and Shatterstar. Fortunately outside of Cyclops I'm not obsessed with finding the figures, so once I find him or order him online or something I feel it will be an enjoyable hunt. Also not overly eager on completing Warlock. LIke dont' get me wrong, I want them all, they're all awesome except Colossus IMO, but I can give it time and wait.

Also obviously with 3/7 figures down I won't be ordering a case now. But I could still definitely do figure by figuring ordering if it comes to it.

I suspect that we will see a Domino at some point next year or 2019 given her role in Deadpool will give her a higher profile. I'm just worried it might not be a comic-pure look.

I saw a Shatterstar and a Dazzler in the store. Neither one that I wanted, but it's nice to see that they are out there.

went to wal-mart this morning to pick up a few things, while there was no X wave at least the new one, and no GOTG wave. i was shocked to see the sandman wave was plentiful and available.

considering i already have it, i couldn't waste any money on any extras for now. i guess next time.

My Polaris has the same cape issue, but does yours have the bobble head effect?

This is the first time I've ever had a Legends figure just crumble to pieces upon opening. The pegs for his legs were not even molded properly, they are bent, and look chewed on the backsides.

So I obviously can't speak for Sunfire due to the defect, but I will say his paint job is outstanding. It sucks that I get one without a single paint flaw and he's broken. :-(

Polaris would be an awesome figure if she didn't have the bobble head going on. I really like the green tones, especially the hair.

Dazzler is absolutely outstanding. She may be wearing white, but the amount of detail on her is absolutely phenomenal. Like Sunfire, she doesn't have a single paint flaw. My only complaint is the lack of an alternate open hand, and while Rogue's hand does work, the peg is a CM bigger, so it stretches the wrist hole a bit if you keep it in for too long. Oh and I guess she has a hard time standing due to the skates, but the attention to detail on those is impressive. She is already a top contender for being in my top 5 Legends for the year.

I haven't been able to find any of the Sandman wave in stores. I did finally track down a black costume Spider-Man at a local comic shop. The other two I want, Spider-Man 2099 and Green Goblin I ended up ordering off eBay. They came to like $26 each shipped, so not too bad, but it's not as fun as finding them in stores lol.
