Just ordered the Guardians set from Amazon. If all goes well I am fine not having to hunt them down and /or buy a case an sell off the extra figures. This BS with the Cap wave 2 is infuriating. I hope they do away with the Swap figures after all this crap. I like getting more characters, but just put out more lines so everyone is happy. Toy collecting should be fun, not just an endless battle to find things without paying scalper prices.

I sent a request to Hasbro for some movie version Nova Corps. Anybody that wants some, lets do it...all it takes is a minute. CustomerService@hasbrotoyshop.com

I couldn't agree more!

More waves + fewer repeat figures = more sales = everybody wins (at least it makes sense to me).

I wonder if there were online/LCS waves released like Wolverine Legends, with a case of 8, containing the whole wave (BAF parts or not,if not applicable), variants included etc. Would they sell ten thousand cases? Is that enough of a profit to make a few new molds? I'd like to have the new Rogue, the new Sentry, Bulldozer etc. They should pack these all together, and if they aren't made yet, make them and then make the cases.

And, if they are already made, and sitting somwhere (RedPool, White Doom), no one will care that they are mismatched packaging, or that they don't have corresponding BAF parts. They would be bought.

This is why I wish Hasbro would have a representitive for their lines, or a team of people that can provide regular feedback (once a month maybe?) Take an occasional poll, and find out what the paying fans are thinking.

I do like that they're keeping the boxes the same, it's really a shame that the MI series gets such crappy cards...

before we give advice to Hasbro about new characters do bare in my mind that TRU , CB stores, etc have to buy them before us, so marketing wise .you have to see what movies are coming out thus giving retailers profit because we buy "movie" toys. So if you look at movie films/popular characters go for it , but the main result is being able to get that character and persuade them to see what we see. e.g like above Nova corps officer is linked more in the film than the comic nova perhaps [haven't seen the film] but kinda still linked because it's nova corps and from the trailers that's whats in the film. So a future film coming out like Ant-man we can perhaps ask for a Giant-man BAF because he's linked with Ant-man

I wish Hasbro skipped the middle man and did limited runs on figures we could pre-order and they could sell directly to us on Amazon or HTS like Hot Toys and Mattel does. I suggested that and the rep said they passed it onto her Manager at Headquarters.

I can confirm the case assortment now, thanks to my sources:

Quote:
Get ready for a fantastic adventure with the Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Legends Action Figures Wave 1! Spanning the history of the comics, this case of 8 individually packaged 6-inch scale action figures includes pieces to build the mighty tree-like Groot!

Case includes 8 individually packaged figures from the movie as well as Marvel comics:
2x Star Lord
1x Gamora
1x Rocket Raccoon
1x Drax
1x Nova
2x Iron Man
(subject to change)
So as long as those Iron Man figs move, there shouldn't really be an issue to get all the others.

That's a good assortment doesn't leave room for much peg warming. I hate when they do 3 2 2 1

I'm giving up on Marvel Legends if idiots pay $80 for Gamora, Rocket, Drax or Nova.

It's kind of crazy how these artificial demand monsters for the dumbest things are being created recently. With me it was sneakers...growing up I could find any Air Jordans in stores and in recent years the dumbest color combinations sell for $200 at Footlocker and double that the next day on eBay. It was a great culture to be a part but when I saw how greedy people were being I stepped away and haven't looked back since.

I heard on that Marvelicious podcast how some resellers have been hoarding any and all Steelbook Bluray DVD sets that sell for $20 and they resell for $60-80. LMAO... I'd be so pissed if I collected those and out of nowhere see prices like that on eBay.

But this preorder thing is great. Everybody gets what they want.

I have one head, that i would gladly get rid of. If you want it.
Ive found Carnage, Black Cat, Zemo, Skull, Boomer, all at stores within past couple weeks. My TRU had like ten All new Xmen sets, all with creepy Angel googly eyes, I think i might take a drill to them they are so bad lol. All the Infinite legends have been top notch compare to ANXM figs, aside from Boomerang(which I bought for customizing, looks black, but news flash its green) the right elbow double joint is locked up and is tearing already as is the left leg. maybe i should send it to hasbro, sure they will help me out lol. Feel like an idiot bringing this up, but anyone making a mandroid cant find legs or even arms. The iron monger legs are same just blue, easy fix and arms are same side from knife and gun and tubes. Put them on my Apocalypse modded monger instead of blue arms they look sick.

Yeah I know lots of guys my age who are obsessed with Jordan's, which I point to when my wife gets annoyed with what I spend on toys lol. I used to like Air Force 1's cuz they were cheap and looked good, then nelly made that stupid song and the prices doubled and tripled. I'm wondering if speculators have gotten into toy collecting? Hasbro could help resolve this with some better case assortment, collectors can help by refusing to pay more than double retail (hopefully less). It just seems like no one hardly puts out the HTF figures like wasp or black widow up at or near cost on ebay, amazon, etc. All the scalpers seem to want triple or more what they paid.

You should throw up a pic of that apocalypse modded monger kajeta7. I wonder if the mandroid/monger legs work on ultimate green goblin? I know the arms do.

Those ToyBiz ones made us go crazy. I remember seeing the Spider-Man set and got the Black suit and classic suit and played with them for hours.

I was about 15 then and the last toys I collected were WCW ToyBiz figures (http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9...7f5o1_1280.jpg) which started to die out and Jakks Pacific WWF figs but they changed the toys to a really crappy hard plastic (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ITZ1KLIppt.../s1600/ttl.JPG) and I hated them so I was looking for something new to collect...I saw the Spidey line and fell in love. It became harder to find them because people were hoarding them and reselling at local Swap meets for at least double but I didn't mind forking over that for certain figures. It was a great series to collect and play with.

I kind of stopped when the Sentinels series began because I started being more into the "I have a girlfriend now...toys are for kids" phase. Which...yeah, really regret because my comic shop always had them and I was one of the customers who always had first dibs on stuff.

When Hasbro took over I was older and didn't care as much for toys altogether. I did look at the Ultimate Iron Man figure (http://i.marvelousnews.com/dbg/gener...scaled_600.jpg) quite a few times and being mesmerized by the shiny paint before pulling the trigger and being sucked back into toys on and off since then.

Oh and ToyBiz made my absolute favorite toy of all time ever...the 18" Amazing Spider-Man figure.

If you want a huge figure with ridiculous pose-ability, GET IT!

Im pretty sure the monger legs wont fit on the goblin baf, but your right the arms do. Before I got the arms for my goblin, I threw the ones I had just taken off my Apocalypse in exchange for m-droid ones. They looked sick, but didnt make sense for goblin(or whatever I decide to turn it into), they were a little short, but regular ones are a little long. I didnt paint arms in pic yet and fix a couple things then ill set it up on figure realm. Im thinking about putting bottom half of X onto that Boomerang body,Its just calling for Original Xfactor costume.
