Just stopped by a Target I don't get to often, and found a Vance Astro with a good enough paintjob to warrant buying it at that time. Last edited by Jeddostotle7; 03-08-2017 at 08:01 PM.. |

Angela is in scale with the Select Gamora. I have the two of them on a shelf and they look great together.

Anyone else wish Hasbro would do a reissue wave? There are a good number of figures I've missed do to poor distribution

Man it is a good time to collect toys! I was able to get the entire GOTG2 wave including TRU Groot for about $135 after tax thanks to 20% off at TRU and 40% off at Walgreens! Plus I picked up the new Movie Power Ranger figs from TRU since they had them all and they were also 20% off. Too many good toys below retail. Discounts are my weakness... |

Agree. Even though I was one of the lucky ones who (over much time and money) got all the figures to complete Jubilee, I don't think I ever saw any of the figures in stores except Wolverine (who wasn't needed for the BAF and I did not pick up). It blows my mind that Hasbro would go to the effort to tool and produce those characters, and then TRU would carry them in such limited quantity. I realize Hasbro would not produce as many as a mass retail wave, but still..it's like TRU barely picked up the ball to carry them.

I really hope I'm able to find the Groot in stores. I don't want to have to get it online, it's going for crazy prices.

its the best time to collect figs actually, i think its the golden era cause with the rise of the internet you can get any figure nowadays and you get toys news and info as well as soon as it comes out, back then that didnt exist

I'm assuming you're going for the TRU Groot Evolution?

Same goes for the 90s Jean figure I saw one time at a Target.

Thanks to a successful trade with Shaeggy, I've completed my fifth BAF - Dormammu! Now I get to take a break on tracking down BAF pieces until the rumored Executioner wave. (Warlock won't be an issue since I'll be getting the entire wave)

Yessir, it has better paint than the BAF, and I'm assuming the gummy plastic problem will be solved.

I never got the original BAF Groot, but I do have the Iron Man from that wave, so I'm pretty sure I can guess how gummy it was. I just got the Evolution of Groot 3-pack over a week ago, and it's definitely not gummy.

So I just went to my Toys R Us, and there was a sign on the empty pegs saying "Due to HIGH Demand and LOW Supply of Toys R Us Exclusive Groot, there is a limit to only TWO per person". I guess scalping has gotten out of hand. The manager said they do everything they can to prevent scalping, which is good. He said they had 60 Groots at the start of the week, and they get in another shipment tomorrow, and to call in. Here's hoping...

				 | Almost finished my Apocalypse. If I can just find a cable I can avoid buying Sasquatch. This thing is a beast. I'm debating tracking down a Galactus, but some of the previous posts have me worried about him being a bit fragile. |
