My friend worked at TRU over the holidays (crazy, I know) and I found out that the TRU site pick up stock and the on the shelf stock are kept separately for the most part, and if they have to pull something from the store shelves, they don't do it until after hours.

Friend of mine found the 2 pack today, without MJ so that's going to be a fun.

The Phoenix set is going to represent a mad scramble for collectors...I may just order from TRU's website, once it's available.

That's gonna be an online order for me for sure. I have no desire to make the mad dash of daily disappointment to my TRU for anything at ths point. Even weekly visits are disappointment enough.

There are 3 TRU's in a 30-40 mile radius of me. Travelling around with north east traffic is not fun and can be pretty expensive. Add mission failure to that equation and you get "buy online" as the best answer to what ails.

That's exactly how my luck is with Toys R us is too, I only find something like every 10-15 times I go in there lol. So not the best odds

Exactly. If I actually FOUND stuff at TRU then it would be different. There's two in the general area here and two more about an hour away, but only one close by enough to even be worth going to and finding nothing. All they have are the absorbing man wave and first X-wave, and actually the first GOTG2 wave but nothing that I need. Still no Groot which I also don't need but I find laughable they can't even stock their own exclusives. Which to be honest is really all I would hope to find there. They end up being my first stop but they are the last place I actually think I'll find something.

Yep, Glad to see that my toys r us isn't the only shit one I guess all mine has is The Absorbing man wave too and. And Dr strange wave and that's both of my stores. It's even worse for Black Series they have the first wave of FA and that was it. At least the employees aren't as bad as Walmart silver lining I guess

Nothing but a mix of everything from last year at my lone TRU. No Sues at Walgreens either, though I'll probably wait for them to overload the shelf and dump the price this fall.

I stopped at Walmart today and was surprised to see three boxes of the Spider-Man/Vulture set. Not one I wanted so I didn't pick it up, but it was nice to see something new there. Other than that, I've never seen more than like 4 Legends on the shelf there and they are always older ones.

Went to TRU today, Bumpkin!..They had a lot of the Dr. Strange and Hulk Buster waves on sale, and they had the Warlock wave, minus the most popular two, and the first GOTG2 wave that came out close to 2 months in stock, minus Angela...Out of all the major retail stores I collect my action figures from, TRU has been the worst for a couple years now!..But, at least I grabbed the last Shatterstar at TRU, but I could have gotten him at Walgreens...But, he looks great and I'm glad to add him to my haul that came in the mail yesterday...And, finally, Psyclops has arrived, he is real!..And, when we going to get BP in the wild?..Him and Sue were announced awhile ago, guess Hasbro and retailers are playing the 'distribution game' again in my area...And so happy to get Scropion of my list of holy grails...Best of luck, Arkers!..

Yeah I don't know what is up with that Black Panther. Feels like we knew about him before the Spider-Man Vulture/Spider-Man Mary Jane and Invisible Woman sets, and they are releasing. I hope it's not cancelled.

My LCS in London had a few Black Panthers. Did not get any as I wasn't interested.

@Lapu

Me also. Didn't realize there was a Books-A-Million near me. I will follow the tip left yesterday on the thread when I get home. Cyke is the only one left from that wave...good stuff on Sue!

I think maybe Walmart is trying to clear out all of the remaining Buckys and Falcons before bringing in the Panthers.

Found the Giant Man Wave at Ross today, or at least a single Iron Man and movie Black Panther. $6.99 each, but they may have been mislabled since the original price claimed only $10.

I can guarantee that those are the actual price - picked up a Red Guardian a couple weeks back at Ross for that price.

Movie BP does...comic BP does not, though the head from the MCU version fits on the comic version.
