Honestly, I don't have an issue with it. It has his colors and from what it sounds like, he is just some two bit thief anyway, so his costume is just find at the moment. It's colors match and it's still a costume, so I'm okay with it. Now once he starts working for Kingpin (or the Maggia), then he should get an upgrade.

I woulda been okay with falcons outfit if it had been red and white instead of grey n black. Movie not shocker just looks ....... cheap. Guess marvel/sony couldnt afford good outfits like fox couldnt afford more xmen cameos for deadpool.

Because, to be honest, the tactical look is usually more practical than just straight up spandex except for particularly agile characters like Spidey.

I do wish Falcon had more red and white in his costume though.

Or do you want to go back to things like that godawful ORIGINAL Fantastic Four movie? The one that was never officially released?

Having actually owned that movie once upon a time on bootleg VHS, it really wasn't that bad. Outside of the special effects and budget, they were way better than any of FOX's attempts...especially that last turd they dropped. How you can get half of the stronger cast members of House of Cards, and still can't put together a compelling movie is far beyond me...

The Corman film is also the only film to actually get Doctor Doom right too. If you can find it bootlegged for 5 dollars, it's a must view for any fan, even if for the lols. It's a fun, terrible flick.

There is also a great documentary about the Corman film on HULU if anyone is interested. Had it not been for the dickery of Stan Lee, Chris Columbus, and Avi Arad, the movie might have actually gotten released, and Fox would have never received the rights. I bet you Stan Lee is kicking himself in the ass over that one now.

At least they had their costumes. Say what you will about that movie, it is still the most accurate adaptation to date.

After becoming disturbingly envious of everyone posing awesome picks of their Sue Richards figures, I got sick of waiting patiently for any of the nearby Walgreens to finally get her in stock, so I drove to a very inconveniently located Walgreens, because it was the only one within a somewhat reasonable distance that the Walgreens website claimed had her in stock.

While I had hoped to have a dozen or so to pick from, like when I snagged Namor, they only had two, but luckily, they both looked great, so I didn't have to pass and wait for a good one. Honestly, lol, my patience and resolve could not have handled the letdown of finding a sub-par Invisible Woman.

But anyways, for us Fantastic Four fans, this figure is a game changer.
Aside from a few exceptions, the earlier Fantastic Four Legends are seriously disappointing. The Toy Biz stuff has aged horribly, and Hasbro's previous attempts were laughable. But, this Sue in just such a great figure !
And, at a time when there is no F4 merch to be found anywhere, and, most importantly, Marvel isn't even giving us any Fantastic Four comics, this is huge ! HUGE !

I'm ecstatic to finally have her, and I'm relieved that I can stop hating everyone who found her before me

I watched it for the lols I even forced a friend to watch it, we had a good laugh. It is sad that Dr. Doom in that movie is the closest of the three live-action attempts to matching the comics. Doom is a ruler of men not a businessman or a hacker.

Just curious, which costume are you talking about...the costume that Bokeem Woodbine was photoed in a while back, or the one from the Hasbro 6" Homecoming 5POA line?

As for the Shocker swapping races, there has been hints that there is more than one of them, as in the trailer, both Woodbine and another actor (Logan Marshal-Green) were shown wearing the Shocker's gear.

I think they should have went with the look from the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game personally. It was a pretty well transitioned "real world" look for an iconic costume that hasn't changed all that much over the years.

Still no Invisible Woman in my neck of the woods. I might just order her online. I really hope that after her and Human Torch, we get the Thing and Reed. I would love a complete F4 on my shelf.

The 5 poa one is the one i saw where hes all decked out. If theres two shockers thats fine but bo's is using the caucasian ones name , herman schultz, so thats where my ire is. If woodbines shocker was called something else then itd be less of an issue for me. The other shocker i think is actually the tinkerer.

My favorite part is when Human Torch starts sneezing fire.

The funny thing about that movie was that they said the dark leather was more realistic, but it's really not. Would get way too hot fighting in those. And as revealed in the BTS, the actors couldn't even jump over a tiny wall on Ellis Island due to their restrictiveness.

As for the costume debate, it really depends on the nature of the character IMO. X-Men should wear suits, but a character like Jessica Jones running around in a casual jacket or Elektra not in red satin also makes sense to me. that said I am game with the New Mutants not wearing costumes, they're students.

You have to keep in mind that the first X-Men film was coming out just at the beginning of the 'modern' superhero film era, trying to get free of the trappings that Joel Schumacher's 'Batman' films had saddled it with (IE the sheer levels of narmish camp that made even the Adam West Batman look tame). So the 'practical' explanation for the suits was mostly said just to justify the aesthetic departure.

Since 'Iron Man,' we've seen a much more successful blending of classic costume design elements with realistic and practical outfittings, and that's unlikely to change any time soon, which is perfectly fine IMO. Hell, even in the X-films, we've seen them evolve away from the leather suits look and into more 'classic costume' designs (IE the outfits from 'Deadpool' and 'X-Men Apocalypse'). Sure, it took going through the 'motorcycle leathers' phase to get there, but I can guarantee that putting them all in shiny spandex would've resulted in a full stop by comparison.

Not to mention, spandex does nothing for protection in a realistic sense, and only really works as a costume element for runners and acrobatic characters. Anyone remember how often Spidey's costume used to get ripped up back in the old comics? Because that's what spandex does. Impractical in a fight, and impractical on film.

Right. I was just talkin about the body and how the hands and leg issues that plagued patsy and jess can be ( hopefully ) avoided if firestar gets a fig in the classic vein.

I guess. I just would have changed it after having actors try to move around in them. I was really young when the X-Men trilogy came out, and I never liked the leather suits.

X-Men First Class and Apocalypse really took steps in the right direction.
