So glad these FINALLY arrived today. FedEx Parcel Post can be agonizingly slow. They sat in Phoenix for like two days due to the extreme temperatures we've had in southern AZ this past week.

And I found this as well on the way home...so glad that I'm done with TRU's stupid exclusives for the time being. Just need to get my hand on that Homecoming two pack from Target now once it drops...

I'll try to get some reviews and pics up when I can. In the meantime, if there's any questions, lemme know!

Usually it is, although my last two shipments from Dorkside have taken well over a week to get to me, with layovers in Phoenix that have lasted as long as two days. We've had some really bad weather though these past few days, with temperatures as high as 117 degrees, which has actually grounded flights and has caused deliveries to move just a bit slower as of late as all of the shipping companies struggle to catch up.

Goodbye early 90's Celine Dion head!

So yeah...in case you were wondering, all of the new heads do fit the Juggernaut wave Phoenix figure, as well as on the Rocket Raccoon wave Jim Lee Jean Grey. It sits a little low on the neck on the RR Jean Grey figure, but you can fudge it upwards a little bit for a better fit if you want an unmasked/helmeted Jean.

I should note that the Dark Phoenix figure does not come with high heeled feet, but flat soled feet. I noticed that Dark Phoenix's feet perfectly matched in terms of plastic color, so I swapped her flat soled feet for the regular Phoenix's heeled feet. Now Phoenix has a look more fitting in more with Jean's conservative and sensible nature, while giving Dark Phoenix a slightly taller stature and a look befitting of a curious and sexually charged cosmic entity. You do have to make a small modification to Dark Phoenix's foot peg as it is a bit long (just clipped a little bit of it off with a nail clipper) but after that, it fit on perfectly with no troubles.

Is it just your pics, or are DP's thighs thicker?

Can you show us the whacky hair head on regular Phoenix and what the "Celion Dion" (as you called it) looks like on DP along with the straight hair one?

You know...I had a feeling that something different about the hips of Dark Phoenix but I couldn't put my finger on it until you mentioned it. The legs were made of a stiffer plastic than the rest of the figure, and when you mentioned the hips, it dawned on me. The hips and legs are actually larger and a tad bit longer and are from the Moonstone/Black Cat/Warbird body mold. Good spot.

The torso also looks like an entirely new piece, as the breasts are smaller than Moonstone's and don't bear any resemblance to previous molds.

Sorry for the quality of the pics, but here's the shots you wanted. One note, the original Phoenix head does not fit all that well on DP, and you would most likely need to make some modifications to make it work as it sits super high on the body. The wacky hair fits fine, but the "possessed" head fits a little loose on my Phoenix's body. I have modified the neck peg a bit though on that particular figure, so I can't say if that's how it will fit on yours, or if my mod is the cause of that issue.

I didn't realize until now that DP set comes with that flatter long hair head. That is great! It really fits her later 90's look, when the poofy looks were going out of style.

Marvelousnews posted pics of the Homecoming 2 pack. Spiderman is just the web wings version but with only one pair of hands and the unmasked head. He no longer comes with the masked head with the medium eyes, just the wide eyed version from the single pack. Ironman has only one pair of hands as well and only one blast effect. IM does have an alternate head with the helmet's face plate flipped up. But it's turned in the package so you can see who's inside.

The Iron Man looks sweet. I'm hoping to be able to grab him loose once this drops at a low price, since not too many people are a fan of Iron Man figures anymore, let alone Ultimates-inspired Iron Man. My only gripe is that I wish the look of Iron Man's helmets would change in the movies a bit more like they do in the comics with his different suits. I really would have loved to see how the angular shape of the Ultimates suit would have translated onto film, plus it would give a bit more incentive to picking up all of these MCU body mold Iron Men. Variety is the spice of life.

The Tom Holland sculpt looks okay, but a bit rough and flat around the edges. Kind of disappointing, especially when you compare it to the recent MCU homeruns that Hasbro hit with the GoTGV2 waves.

Thanks.

I wonder if the possessed head doesn't fit as well on the regular Phoenix body because it was packaged on the DP peg, so it has had plenty of time to shape itself for that peg.

I think it has more to do with my modification that I made to Phoenix a while back than it does the head. Because I shaved the top half of the neck peg off, there is nothing to fill the space on the possessed head. To be fair though, the possessed head sits the loosest of all the new heads on DP. This also leads me to believe it really is my mod.

All of this excitement about Dark Phoenix, and not a single person has asked about Cyclops...lol.

Honestly, there's not too much to say about Cyclops as it's on the Bucky Cap body mold, so if you know what you're getting with it articulation wise. For me though, what makes this figure really pop is first off, the iconic Byrne look, along with a really well done wash and colors that perfectly replicate the look from the original comic. The wash and shading are featured over ALL of the blue on this body, making him pop, and making it look like he just stepped off the panel. I'm glad they also gave him the "pirate" boots as well, and didn't opt for the fidgety sliding parts that the recent Jim Lee Cyke had. About the only thing I can complain about with it is that I wish they would have given him another headsculpt as well, perhaps one with his eyes open (as Phoenix restrains his optic blasts on more than one occasion in The Dark Phoenix Saga) or perhaps with the ruby helmet restraint that the Hellfire Club places on him when they capture the X-Men.

I know that many people are in love with the Jim Lee version of this character, but this has long been my favorite look for Cyke, and this is very easily my favorite version of the character released so far. I don't think I'll ever need another Cyke again after this one.

Gah I can't wait to get this pack. I never had the TB Dark phoenix variant (just the MS one) so it will be awesome get that figure, and I can't wait to get a replacement for that overwashed clunky TB Cyclops.

How many different Cykes does this give us now? Claremont era, Jim Lee, Astonishing, 05 Cyclops, X-Factor Cyke from TB and Bendis-clops. ANy others? I know I did a shot about a year ago of them all and obviously I didn't have Jim Lee Cylops then, but I think that covers it?

I'm just bummed that they didn't include a 'plain head with sunglasses' alternate option for the two-pack Scott.

@Nash, is the All-New X-Men version on that list?
