Never mind, the lady I spoke to must not have entered the UPC correctly. I called all around a 100 mile radius, none in sight

So I went to another TRU and the manager scanned the price tag with his device. It said they originally had 6 come in on Thursday, but he didn't recall them ever being on the shelf, so he checked the back, but nope, they were gone. What is even weirder (and annoying) is his scanner said they were discontinued.

That is the kind of stuff that happens at my local TRU because the manager ...Which is why I travel to another TRU near me, but their employees collect ML, which steers me more and more toward the Internet...What can you do, the life of a collector...But, sometimes when I travel, I find some jems!..But, sometimes fellow Arkers can sell or trade figures with you.,.Marvel legends our getting popular, even my bro-in-law who doesn't collect, wants the WM BP Exclusive, and he curses everytime he goes to WM and does not find the most recent Movie BP...I told my bro-in-law that I never seen it in the wild myself...

That exact same thing happened to me with the Jubilee wave from 2014. The only figure on the pegs was wolverine (just 1). The other pegs were labeled "Marvel Legends X-Men, but were completely blank. The manager scanned them and told me they were discontinued. The worst part is I was there the day before, and there was no sight of that Wolverine or any pegs labeled "Marvel Legends X-Men.

Grabbed this guy today as a consolation prize after my failure in finding Cyclops and Pheonix. I asked one of the guys working at my local TRU why they never get any of the exclusives on Legends and was told they don't control what comes in. Baffling. They never even got in the Spidey and MJ 2-pack. The one 75 miles up the road in a much smaller town had plenty of them. Either we are loaded with scalpers around here, my location is about to go out of business, or someone at that store is running a scalping operation out the back room. It sucks I'm going to have to drive 79-100 miles to find that pack, or pay twice retail off EBay.

Yeah, the figure isn't the best. The articulation on the thumbs is a bit different. He's supposed to fit in that base better, but I can't get enough movement out the legs to place him smoothly in the pegs yet. The tentacles are amazing though, well worth the $16 I ended up spending. I might have to hunt a cheap base figure and try my hand at customs, because a Hasbro body with those tentacles would be pretty sick.

Just because it was mentioned a few times, I thought I would let you all know that the Walgreens Matt Murdock/Hawkeye head DOES fit on the new Cyclops figure, if only a little loosely. It also looks a little undersized, but that could just be me, as the body to the new Cyke is yet another Bucky Cap body, which is no different than the one we received for said DD and Hawkeye. Might just be my imagination.

Also, I'm really digging this Charlie Sheen head that came with Cosmic Spider-Man. Might end up using it as an unmasked look for my Scarlett Spider figure, since Ben Reilly had his face covered in stubble on more than one occasion in the past.

With the Ant-man and the Waspfilm coming out next year, the likely-hood has definitely increased. Though for the time being, you've still got a pretty cool figure.

Man, I can't for the Homecoming wave to hit TRU. I've given up with Walmart, I just hate going in there and never find anything when I do.

Me either. I did find Cyclops on EBay for 27 shipped. Seemed reasonable to me. Love the figure.

I have a feeling well get First Apperarence Storm in the next wave.

It's a good figure, I'm still super pissed that this wave was so hard to find way back then. I only got the sabertooth at retail. I so want the BAF Giant man.

One other positive from my trip to TRU yesterday, I found where the NECA flight stands were located. It's got me wanting to pull some figures out of storage now. I don't know why some of these comic shops around here don't sell them. It seems like an easy sell, and some cheap margin off a clip strip or something.

I always think about getting those, but $10 just seems like so much for a stand. If they were half that id buy them up

I predict Storm but it will be 90's White Outfit Jim Lee Storm. We really need both though.

My LCS did get in some NECA flight stands back when they were new but they sold out pretty fast. I guess other collectors in my area highly value flying poses.

Yeah they do appear a bit pricier than what you see in box but they are probably the sturdiest, most durable flight stands for the price margin. If they were half the price they're at I don't think there would be any left after the first month that they were released. I have two and I'm very happy with the results.

Our manager friend at Walgreens held onto a Spidey 2099 for us, and we nabbed Sam and Darkhawk from Amazon.

Who knew that, after seeing the helmet blemish on every Darkhawk on the shelf, the one we bought sight-unseen wouldn't have it?
