Hasbro one was better by virtue of not being on an Iron Man body, but I still hated the headsculpt.

[QUOTE I have it and I like it. I actually have two due to having to get another after realizing my original had two of the same feet - not sure if that's a thing for which you'll need to be on the look out. Many people complained about the reuse of Toybiz' 1st appearance Punisher/Shield Agent body, which was later appropriated by Hasbro for Drax, then Cap, and ultimately Magneto. Many detractors opt for the Toybiz Magneto, which I also have. I think it's a wash between the two. Neither exceeds, nor falls short of the other. It's a pick'em. I'd also add that Hasbro will likely make another Magneto in the near future. I'm sure the temptation for a cash-in with a new Mags will prove too great to pass on for Hasbro. I paid $35-$40 for my replacement Magneto, but that was before the X-men moratorium ended. I have no idea what the fig is currently going for, but I'm sure it isn't worth it...[/QUOTE]

The Hasbro Magneto is going for anywhere between %149-$299, and some of those are without the Jubilee BAF. I have the Toybiz Magneto, but I'm all for an updated version. I keep going back to hearing Hasbro say "next year's X-Men lineup is our best yet". Even if we do not get an updated Magneto next year, I'm sure we will get one in the next couple of years.

I agree. I think people are charging that amount because they know that figure was hard to come by, not because it was spectacular, and that sucks. Oh well. X-Men have been getting some love for the past two waves, and I look for that trend to continue.

Oh come on Walgreens!!! Invisible Woman has got to be the hardest exclusive to find (and not because she is invisible). I've been to 8 Walgreens so far with no success. Usually I always find the exclusive at the third or fourth location.

Oh, but I did learn where all of the Warlock X-Men Legends have gone to.

That sucks, although I'm kind of surprised you didn't just order her online if anything get 2 of her to save on the shipping cost and return the other one back at the actual store or keep :P

Either would be nice. I want a truly menacing looking Magneto to add to my display. Dr. Doom and Magneto are my two favorite villains, and while the last Dr. Doom from the Epic Heroes line is solid, I believe Hasbro can do better for both of them.

Went to TRU today, no sight of the Cyclops/Phoenix 2 pack...Only old stuff like Civil War, a bunch of Civil War Falcon 2 packs, GOTG Wave 1, and BAF Hobgoblin Wave...

I think Hasbro will eventually release another Magneto (hopefully, so I don't have to pay $200 for an updated version), but I wanted to know what some of your thoughts are. For those that own the figure or don't. Thanks!
I had it and happily got rid of it. No removable helmet, fixeds wrists and for arms that only swiveled, ball joint hips, and Ronald Mcdonald clown shoes and a goof ass face sculpt. Other than the gorilla arms the toy biz one and even the xmen classics one blow that turd outta the water.

My stores hardly got the Punisher compared to how many DD, Ant-Man, Namor, and Invisible Woman figures they got in. It could just be because I got my Punisher at a flea market and so then I wasn't routinely checking Walgreens but whenever I checked them when other people reported sightings mine never had any in.

It's not just you. The only reason I even saw Punisher was because our Walgreens friend called me when she got the case in. DD, Ant-Man, and Namor have been pretty easy to come by, but Punisher was a one-time deal. Only time will tell if Sue is like him, or like the others, at least around here.

(Agent Venom I can't accurately report on, since I was barely into ML when he hit, and right after I bought him, our Walgreens didn't have any more in stock)

I didn't order her online because I want to look at the paint job in person. The Walgreens ones are usually hit or miss.

No idea why you would think I'd order two though.

Well, I finally spotted the Homecoming wave at Walmart. It looks like the scalpers and thieves beat me first. I could only find Beetle, Vulture (which I bought) and a seriously lazy repack. I kind of wanted the figure, so I took it to customer service and tried to explain how and why someone would do that. I did get the ASM to mark the figure down to $4. Now I need to hunt his board and other accessories.

My wife only spotted them at one store in the boonies. I haven't seen them locally at all. I might head out there this evening to see if there are any left.

I remember my Walgreens had a good amount of Agent Venom when he was new because I was looking for the Proto-suit Boba Fett 6" figure a lot and all they ever had at any store that was exclusive for a good long while was a display with a case's worth of Agent Venom. A few times the manager or whoever I would happen to ask would remark that the only exclusive they seemed to get in was the one nobody cared about. Too bad I was one of those people who didn't care about getting Agent Venom because he wasn't hard to find.

My friend just came up with the perfect X-Men Marvel Legends wave.

Jim Lee Beast
Jim Lee Jubilee
Gambit
Magneto
Storm (Giant size X-Men)
Nightcrawler
Psylocke
BAF: Apocalypse

I told him the chances are slim, but he's an X-Men purists (hate the films other than Deadpool)

The Marvel Now look is possible, but I doubt we'll ever see the House of M outfit in a figure or statue again because of the legal trouble.

No, I rate my figures on articulation, likeness of character, paint apps, and detail...I love the Mcfarlane Spidey because, IMO, it a true representation of Spidey, which I brought about 3 or 4 years ago...I researched, looked at reviews and pictures, and took in opinions from fellow Arkers...I don't buy a figure without doing my homework first...Spidey to me, has always been a lanky with an athletic build...I say again, I love the new Pizza Spidey, but he is too muscular, IMO, to be a true Spidey...In most of the comics I have seen or read in the past, his enemies like Juggernaut, Sandman, Rhino, and other characters have always been bigger and more muscular than Spidey, and that why I feel the Mcfarlane Spidey is the best, especially when your putting your figure in action poses...And, some figures are worth their price, until you jump on the bandwagon late, then it becomes out of your reach...Just my opinion, Arker, no harm no foul, and all for the fun of collecting, Arker! Hey, what are some of your favorite figures from the Toybiz days that you still consider the best of the best...

Note: Why have we not gotten a comic Falcon, yet! This baffles me...

The comic based SDCC Thor boxset is pure BS! I only want that Ulik figure but now will have to pay $50+ to get it on ebay.

Wait a little while before jumping the gun. Ulik is a strong candidate for general release, given Hasbro's SDCC track record as of late. Personally, I want Malekith and Ulik most, but I'd like the whole set also.

Picked up Sue, she's my first Fantastic Four figure. I was never a big fan, maybe because of how shitty the movies have been.

I also took a road trip to hunt, since we are less than 24 hours from the Homecoming movie release, and the legends line is barren in my 20-30 mile radius. I managed to nab Tombstone, Tech-suit Spidey, and Cosmic spidey. I was on the fence on Cosmic Spidey, he doesn't seem like a figure that will be hard to find, but I jumped the gun anyways. Finding Moon Knight is going to be a bitch. I honestly don't really want the figure, just the BAF. I'm good with the ToyBiz versions.

I also grabbed a couple more NECA flight stands since my local TRU is hot garbage, and can't keep things stocked.
