that mcfarlane spidy looks like a zombie, its too skinny. there is a diff between 'lanky' and 'zombie lanky'...i have acouple of fav's from the toybiz line, there is something about that line that pops at you, dont know if its the packging or what. even some of the figs have that cannonball shoulders that look weird but i like them for some reason, example: the toybiz Iron fist has those wacky shoulders but its like a good cheesy look. i also like the toybiz: logan, falcon, blade & doc ock that i dont have yet. i only have nightcrawler & iron fist from toybiz currently.

I'm a bit surprised by Moon Knight's clear popularity in this wave. In my usual day-to-day comic talk with friends and anyone who'll listen he always seems under the radar but the guy gets a toy and suddenly he's in demand, I guess enough people just think he looks cool. I think it's a great figure on its own merits but the costume choice leaves a lot to be desired for me. As a toy I strictly prefer the Hasbro effort but Toybiz going for the classic look certainly has its appeal even though they got the colors wrong.

I've been seeing a lot of Green Goblins from the Sandman wave around Walmart's and Walgreens, and Target...in case anyone's looking.

@TheBlueMarvel
There's a genuine love I have for this Character and Her power. You have just taken the most powerful force in the Marvel Universe and put it how it should be represented. I'm not sure if you're working on any other projects, but I'm intrigued with what you could do with her against her foes. Hat's off. |

So i finally decided to cancel my oreorder with BBTS for the homecoming wave. They are starting to pop up here and there, and i really didn't want the whole wave.
I already have moon knight and cosmic spidey, just need to locate beetle and tombstone. |

And here, I didn't think I'd actually be spending a whole lot at SDCC... the A-Force set being there might change my tune. I had planned on getting it online, but if we can actually buy it in-person and check the faces on everyone...
...also, I'm already sold on that All-New Wolverine Pop. I will buy every single Laura Wolverine figure I can until Hasbro releases a 6" ML one.

It wouldn't be on HTS. The A-Force pack is a TRU exclusive.

So much to catch up on!!!! Damn holiday trips, taking me away from my internet obsession!!!
Nice that we have an online release date for that A-Force pack, I am definitely going to try to get it online, that's my most wanted thing at this point. Gah, double packed Loki/Thor, not unsurprising. I guess that knocks out any chances of an Executioner. I'm now actually wondering if I should get both the SDCC set (if I can) and the wave. If I can't snag an SDCC set absolutely getting the wave. But if I do, I don't really need much from that wave outside of Loki and Hela (I'll have two of the others from the SDCC set, already have an Ares and don't really need a gladiator Thor. Also do have Planet Hulk but he's definitely in need of an update, I just don't know if I want to buy four extra figures that I don't need just for that. Decisions, decisions... |

So, MarvelousNews has some in-hand photos up for the Marvel Knights wave, and I'm wondering if the Punisher figure would work as a base for a custom The Captain (Nextwave)... I can't tell how armored the top looks, or if it's just a shirt.

(Going to re-post these pics since I was trying to convert to Flickr from Pbucket last week)
About 7 years ago I had my Grandfather ( who does woodcarving in his spare time) do this Phoenix for my TB Dark Phoenix. It is about 2 feet wide and 25 inches tall to the wingtips. Since I got the new Dark Phoenix 2 pack this week I dusted it off and put the new figure in it and did a couple quick photoshop pics. I designed the base off of the part that came with the Marvel Select Phoenix base and used head shots of an Eagle to have the head facing forward. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Plus instead of a random arm or leg for a BAF he comes with an integral piece that's needed to complete one of the other figures, so even if you don't care for Moon Knight and stick to movie only Legends you still have to buy one. |

I'm trying to show confidence in Simon Kinberg. They messed up the Dark Phoenix once. I hope they learned from their mistake and don't be afraid of the source of material. |
