Nope. Without spoiling anything, it's not Hasbro being cheap.

Well, considering that Hot Toys also included an open-mask no-face-inside head for their Mark 47 figure...

Which MCU villains would you want the most in the line? It seems like Hasbro is getting better about having more movie villains in the line, between Vulture, Loki, Hela and Ego all getting a release in some fashion.

I would personally love for them to go back and do Yellowjacket or give us a properly-scaled Iron Monger (both are total longshots). And while these three may not be so toyetic, I definitely want Fisk, Kilgrave and Cottonmouth.

Ronan. If for no other reason than that comic BAF would be a nightmare to try to complete.

My Spidey legends wave is already on sale at my local Target 20% off. I passed on them all because I am not really interested in the line. I will have to figure out another way to get my BAF wings. Maybe they will be even cheaper soon and I will commit

Yellowjacket is the biggest missed opportunity so far, IMO. That design was awesome. I'm also liking Killmonger's look and would be pleased if we got him.

That Yellowjacket design was pretty sweet...so was the Ronan.

I would throw in Crossbones from Civil War, I really liked him in that first sequence.

Red Skull in his uniform with no trench coat. It's the simplest, but at the same time was one of the most accurate depictions of the character to be put on screen. If they are able to simply upsize one of the 3.75 versions, with the articulation at the hips similar to General Hux's Black Series figure, I would be happy with that.

I also would like Batroc. I really liked the mercenary design he had in Winter Soldier with the hints of color playing to the character's legacy. Plus it could double for army builders.

I would also love to see an Arnim Zola build a figure as a giant computer console like you was in the Winter Soldier.

Honestly, it wasn't even just hints of color, he was straight-up wearing a jacket with the comic accurate colors; the only reason it looked subtle was because of the lighting of the scene, and to a much lesser extent the vest he was wearing over it.

I would definitely like to get a figure of him, I liked his appearance in the movie and think he'd definitely make for a cool figure.

Definitely better looking than his actual gorilla costume from the comics. I like how the armor does give him a pseudo-gorilla silhouette.

So some in hand pictures of the Ego and Starlord are on eBay.

Unfortunately Starlord is the exact same figure... Why the hell would they do that? A collector oritented online exclusive (as far as we know), has a repack of a very common figure everyone has bought already?!

All they had to do was paint his eyes with the galaxy effect and that would have warranted it. Or do a jetpack piece, just basically a throw away figure. Glad I kept the reciept for the single one I bought...

If they didn't just do Cyclops with DP I could have seen him being part of that pack. It can't just be a coincidence that they did that version of Cyke.

That's one thing that's been annoying me lately. Three releases of Movie Star-Lord this year? For what purpose? All it's going to do is ensure that everybody but the most completionist of Marvel Legends collectors skips out on one or two of them.

And what really annoys me is how they keep splitting accessories between releases. Like with the Stark Tech Spider-Man. You have to buy a $20 figure to get the alternate Spider-Man head, alternate hands and web wings, then you have to drop another $40 just for a Tom Holland head, which they justify by also tossing in yet another repainted Iron-Man, because we clearly don't have enough of those.

I hope so. If we don't at least get figures of Shuri and Nakia I will be disappointed, and preferably the head of the Dora Milaje as well (Okoye?). If the GotG 2 waves can give us almost the entire cast there isn't really any excuse for BP waves not to give us most of the BP cast.

I think they did that because they didn't think Ego would sell well on his own; I also think them doing that is the reason they didn't give the single-pack short-jacket Star Lord a BAF piece.

Perhaps he wouldn't but then consider the amount of collectors who will pass because they're not dropping another 20 on the same figure.

The original was 2 per case even, with his availability those who wanted him have it. I doubt many of us passed on him just because there was no BAF. If anything where this was announced so soon after the intial release many likely waited.

I just dont see how it makes sense, just SOMETHING to make it exclusive. Previously something extra was added, paint, extra head, something. It's just a waste in a line like this.
