Does anyone want to sign this guy's petition for Marvel & Hasbro to start a Collector's Club for Marvel Legends Fans?

We have 270 supporters so far but we'd need at least 1,000 to be taken seriously.

thanks for the link made my day
hopefully we'll see variants hopefully storm will have a different head as well .
Magneto has more than 1 costume hasbro .... unless you'll be doing like "future" variants....
wolverine maskless not bad , needs one with mask as well .
not a big fan of the Marvel now cyclops
and stryfe looks awesome
I'd say would work well if wolverine and cyclops weren't there [fair enough if you want a marvel now cyclops] and we had different ones , biggest wave of x-men figs by hasbro which is nice

I am disappointed, if these come out no movie stuff from Hasbro. That'll make 2 straight XMen movies without figures.

No sentinel our Nimrod...or magneto movie figures, no young Magneto or Xavier or Hank....

No wonder Hasbro is quite, the probably want to wait as long as possible before announcing their next wave is that"great" Jubes BAFas not to upset fans over no movie figures again foot XMen.

I'm not sure how I feel about this "New Jubilee wave" news. This will come as sacrilege to some, but I think the Marvel Legends Series (both ToyBiz and Hasbro) has got the mutants covered...along with Spiderman, Iron Man, and Cap which they love to repeat as well. The old adage that you can never have too many mutant marvel legends figs is not true. You CAN have too many, especially when they are do-overs of recently made do-overs (Wolverine & Cyclops).

I'm happy to see Storm in a modern costume, but that pic (I'll need to see more photos) isn't the greatest. Ororo has always been classically illustrated as voluptuous and that fig seems to be lacking some curves (you'd think the Moonstone buck would be a no brainer for any new Storm body...guess not). Magneto with a Drax/Steve Rogers/Sheild Agent-buck body could be cool, but if that helmet isn't removable (looks a bit too snug on the cheeks to be an accessory) that will be a considerable let down. I am also not too keen on Magneto sporting a fist. He doesn't punch people often (too powerful to need to) and I would rather another hand featuring extended fingers. Cyclops...really? Didn't they just cancel the Phoenix version? Not to mention we just got one roughly 10 months ago in the form of AvsX Cyclops. Has five minutes passed? I ask only because I think it's time for another Wolverine figure. That face for Wolverine unmasked is what Wolverine would look like if he were secretly Congressman Alan Grayson from Florida....check it out, it's kinda scary. Lets just say this new Wolvie won't be replacing my "Astonishing" unmasked Wolvie. Stryfe is cool. I've no complaints; he is a new sculpt (barring the fact that he is really Cable) and his level of detail looks great. Jubilee is also cool, but I would have still appreciated more getting her along with Tiger-Shark, Radioactive Man, Rescue, and Songbird.

and....appreciation.

guys and gals we got to remember that we have nearly half years worth of figures left we've only had 2 sub-lines released from Marvel legends [spidey and cap 2] we've got guardians coming out this June according to amazon.... then I'm guess the X-men wave ??? possibly ?? and hopefully other figures as well so that's from June then maybe august or something
So from August 2014 till May 1st [avengers line] so SDCC will let us know if they're making new figs for the months leading up to avengers , although if they take a "break" I'll expect to see more Avengers 2 Figures Not just 6

I dunno if anyone's mentioned it, but the fact that those ML's are pictured next to a Screenshot from Days of Future Past in that magazine makes me believe it's a tie-in line, albeit a rather late one.

i suppose but likely advertising also seems like they'll be released before guardians ? so might be a box-office thing

Seems like a cop out. They are releasing mostly reprints and canceled figures. Nothing for the movie it looks like. This looks like a quick cash in on the movie rather than attempting to make movie figures themselves. I want a Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry movie figures. Was that sad amazing Spiderman 1 their last attempt at movie figures? I guess the Andrew Garfield head sculpt was their last? It seems that way to me.

I'm waiting for my Trevor figure, another Downey face sculpt....They are giving nothing...

This upsets me, their is still hope, but usually things leak,; Hasbro been too quite for me to believe they're doing something movie wise for Future Past..

as much as I can argee with you having hugh's , halle's face on a figure is possibly out of hasbro's budget because the actor might want a certain percentage of that figure that gets sold so technically they'd loose money plus they'll have to perhaps pay more for a decent quality looking face the best I've seen are the X-men 2 figures possibly only , Hottoys though seems to make a lot as well as have the money to profit from it, possibly why they might cost alot of money although the Iron-men figs could be cheaper than the ones with Robert Downey ,jr head as an alternative head. I did say somewhere earlier on this thread, Hasbro designed the figures first i.e prototypes and then say we're making DOFP because it made x amount of $$$ and should get sold.

I understand fees, but for 20 bucks a pop, they have to deliver. If they don't make them, who will? Maybe I should look to china for my needs?

I still wonder about Sentinels....it bothers me that they haven't even bothered.....they have the Toy Biz molds, charge my 50 bucks and I will buy. I guess having an Iron Monger 1 inch taller than Iron Man is the best they can do for BAF's. But SRP of 20 bucks they can do, no problems there.

Does anyone have the Marvel Legends Blob-series Jean Grey that they could put next to any of the newer Star Wars 6" figures so I can get an idea of how well she scales with those? I'm thinking of using her for a custom but I've never bought any of the older Toybiz figures.

Hope these help. I have all my ML and DC Classics in bookcases on display, and I have almost every figure made for both ( missing damn Dragon Man). I think she works just fine for the SW Black line. You have to remember just how much shorter Leia is.

I went to Queens NY TRU, i saw they upped legends to $26.99. Anyone found it more expensive at the same or another retailer?

New Marvel Legends/6" Appreciation Thread-get-attachment.jpg Just wanted to show some ML 6 inch appreciation. And, fellow members, thanks for the news on the Jubilee BAF...to me, most of the figures look like a waste of my time ....Hasbro now will lose another chance at getting my money...Hasbro, please do something different, you can do better than this...the figures like the new Blade, Red Deadpool, and Bulldozer should have been in the hands of the ML fans before this wave...seems like Hasbro is going backward, little distribution, at least in my area, less and less articulations is going into their figures, and little or no creativity on making new figures for the ML series...really, I like the new Cap Now from the movie wave, but just like the words of others on this site, how many Caps, Wolverines, and Iron Men do we really need? Hasbro, at one time, had a hold of my wallet, but not anymore...more and more I find myself collect figures for their great quality, true likeness to the ML characters, and the attention to detail of body paint and articulation...slowly, I am become QC freak because of Hasbro, so now if figures do not pass the sniff test, I have no problems walking away...

Ah, that's awesome, thanks! Yeah, she's a little tall but it'll work for what I want it to do. Thanks, man!

I was just looking on the eBay thing for a MARVEL LEGENDS Mohawk Storm, hoping that by now she has been forgotten and scalpers would have given-up on their holdings of her...nope. Loose she is still $40 for the cheapest one shipped. LOOSE. I refused to pay in package for that, and she's my fave Marvel Girl. When Marvel trading cards were popular i used to keep and get every Punk Storm card I could find, making PAGES and PAGES of her.

Not as of yet. Neither has Iron Fist or the other variants from that wave.

I remember like a year and a half ago I found a bunch of those Nightcrawler/Storm packs on clearance for $12. I didn't want any since I already Nightcrawler and don't like that Storm. No one wanted them for cost plus shipping. Buy stuff while it's cheap people.
