I saw non-MCU Marvel Legends in the wild today for the first time since the Allfather wave. Titus and Warlock BAF waves. I'm still waiting for my cases from PC but it was nice seeing them in stores again.

you're not..someone else brought it up before..but it doesn't look like a "cool" sculpting design, it looks like a defect. One that you realize EVERY figure has.

Does anyone know the price of the 12" Legends Daredevil at the con?
AGAIN ..i see tons of people have bought it just to sell it....smh.
Just need a baseline for what this thing originally cost.

I didn't think I was the first to pick up on it. The first pack I looked at I thought it was just was a one-off problem on that particular figure but then I looked at the other sets and realized the horrible truth. Hasbro purposefully did a shitty job with that. If the original plan was to have the mask head winking at us then why didn't they just run with it?! This is borderline knockoff feeling where the paint scheme doesn't match the sculpt at all.

I don't get how you guys can collect those 12" figs... there are so huge. LOL.

I just hope we get to see the X-men wave tomorrow... even if it is just slideshow pics/silhouettes. Seeing that 90's Cable got me all hyped up. LOL.

Spider-Punk and Songbird are bought on sight. They look fantastic. Spider-Punk even had a guitar pick in one of his hands. Awesome!

Ghost Rider...I like the bike quite a bit, but I love the original Spidey wave Ghost Rider and don't really need another one. Maybe I'll buy it just for the bike.

Gwenpool.... mega pass.

Songbird is gorgeous, they really went all out with her. I'm curious if we're going to start getting Thunderbolts in waves going forward or if she's a one off.

My point was that there has already been a Legends released of the Jim Lee Storm but her original costume has never been done at all.

And no, Jim Lee's costume would not be better. It is too busy, too bulky.

Although, doing a box set could satisfy both our needs. :-)

I don't know, I think the head is way better on this new one. I never realized there were cracks in the sculpt before and I like the way the fire is painted.

this spiderman wave they're showing i'll probably buy the whole wave. however im not enthused with gwenpool and songbird. I guess marvel/hasbor feels to the need to put a second or third rate character in each wave... songbird is just a mystery to me as why they made her.

either way if they come in this set they'll both be ebayed off with the quickness.

I agree about the head of the new Ghost Rider, but I'm also glad that the colors are a better approximation of the classic look. I like the translucent head of the Rhino Wave version, but it washes out in photos with certain types of lighting:

The design on the front of the forks looks really silly IMO. I’m fairly certain the bike is entirely new - I'm proud of you Hasbro, you actually spent money to make something new, but then you promptly botched it up with that silly hotwheels design...had it been translucent and intended as a fire construct, I might've been persuaded, but as is, it's just a goofy concept. The new bike is more of a Harley design, whereas the old Toy Biz was a chopper with ‘ape hanger’ handlebars and high back-rest seat. Not to mention, this new bike is actually scaled to fit the new Ghost Rider fig, while the old TB one is too small for the Aim/Star-Lord/Ghost Rider mold. There are quite a few differences between the old and new bikes:

Because she won last year's fan poll? Pretty much guarantee she'll be a seller.

To the Storm comments, either FA or Jim Lee White Outfit Storm would be a winner. What would be a win-win is Jim Lee Storm in the wave and a GSXM set including FA Storm.

In the meantime, if we get FA Storm at least I do have my white outfit Storm from Toybiz.

My A-Force pack was supposed to delivery yesterday originally but the hub changed the due date to today. It's now out for delivery. YAY!!!

As I recall in the last fan poll, Songbird did very well and even won most of her bracket pretty easily.

EDIT: I got ninja'd. Anyway, yeah, winning a fan poll gets a figure made.

Honestly, JL or FA Storm doesn't matter to me. Would prefer Jim Lee but either way we just need an updated Storm that doesn't require you to be Black Panther himself to afford it.

You know what would have been really cool? If that Ghost Rider that came with the bike was the Danny Ketch version. Would only require some slight retooling too.

Actually, Danny would require a whole new body.

He's bulkier, has a different styled jacket (zipper is completely different that Blaze) with spikes on the shoulders, spiked bracelets, spikes on his boots, a spikey belt, etc.

Just found this on the Fwoosh forum. The vintage carded Iron Man is the Neo Classic Iron Man they were supposed to release a few years ago but retooled it into the Epic Heroes wave version with the huge boots. So I was kinda right on my Iron Man pick.

So what's new on the re-do? They re-sculpted thinner forearm guantlets, replaced the spaceboots/feet for thinner boots/feet and made the red less metallic is what I can tell from the pic. Those subtle changes do make him look better and since I never bought the original version , and barring a surprise showing of a newly resculpted classic red/yellow IM later today, I will be getting this version.

An Iron Man I'd actually be willing to buy? Madness.

Mostly because he's close enough to the old animated series version, and SOMEBODY has to fight Blizzard, Whirlwind, and Dreadknight.
