Marvel toy news also posted the UPC number too so you can search without too much travel.

They should be showing up soon though with people getting hands on them.

IMO, Hasbro went cheap with the Hydra 2 pack by just including previously done repainted heads that don't even relate to Hydra troopers as the ones for the Hydra enforcer are unmasked & the ones for the regular Hydra trooper also don't relate to actual Hydra soldiers either. WTF Hasbro, just do a few more masked versions with different facial expressions. And why add colorful vests to the figs, just nicely painted H symbols woulda sufficed. Guess I'll just have to make my own custom heads for both of them & any extra sets I buy of them. I will support the line cuz I want it to succeed so we can get other army building packs but I'm not too happy with the extra heads selection they chose for these. Cracks me up to hear people saying "Ohh, Tiger stripe Wolvy, now I can put him in my X-men TAS team". Wow, that's an actual classic comic version figure & people think it's based on a 90s toon. He,along with classic Cyke, Phoenix, Sunfire, Rogue & Polaris will form the basis of my classic 70s-80s X-men team. Hoping we get classic 70s-80s versions of Colossus, NC, Angel, Beast, Iceman,Banshee & T-bird to round out my team. Thinking I may have to snag a TB ML classic Havok version off Ebay as the modern version while cool, is just not doing it for me.

I am loving that classic Namor & Black Bolt with alternate head, though that bearded version is not going on Namor at all. I have 0 affinity for that ANAD IM, nor that Spiderwoman. Mysterio is the only fig I'm getting outta that Lizard BAF wave as that Lizard is too huge. Gonna have to hunt for the TB version as that is a perfect classic Lizard. New one looks too dinosaur like. Sasquatch wave is one of the best ML waves ever surpassing even the Juggernaut BAF wave as the modern Colossus in a costume hardly anyone asked for, ruined it for me.

Hasbro needs to come out with new Sentinels soon! An 8' BAF classic Nimrod wave is a must as well. Hasbro has to know that we have been wanting the ultimate Sentinel since the TB days.

Nice.

I won't go out of may way to nab that set, but if I see it at my local store I'll grab one or two.

That Colossus was in this year's Warlock wave, not last year's Juggernaut wave.

Who the hell cares which era you associate the costume with? If you grew up in the 90's or beyond then yes, you are more likely to know tiger stripe Wolverine from the Jim Lee comics or the TV show. I don't even know why that's up for discussion.

Unrelated but anyone see any of the recent store exclusives out in the wild near them? I'm trying to decide whether to wait for that Thor and Valkyrie pack to make it to stores, or just see if it's online.

I'm glad to see that the Hydra troop pack is hitting. At 1st I was thinking of buying like 3 of them, but I think I'll be ok with just 1. I picked up like 5 or 6 Hydra guys when they were single carded and I think I'll be ok with 1 enforcer type dude.

Ugh, I hear you. Anyone who acts as a "gatekeeper" on how other collectors should consider how they display their figures, in any way, needs to give their head a good long soak.

On-topic, the only packs I've actually seem in the wild are Star-Lord/Ego, Spidey/Iron Man, and Spidey/Vulture. The others, no dice.

Thank you to both comments. It's getting a little annoying seeing collectors getting called out because they like to associate their figures/characters with a cartoon or movie. My saying is "go ahead and switch your figs up, and if they hate let them hate, but watch your collection pile up."

Also, went to my local Target to search for the Thor/Valkyrie 2-Pack, and was told to come back Wednesday because they should be in.

It's certainly the one left I'm looking most forward to. Still waiting for the Human Torch and I guess Medusa now. Don't know if I'll ever find that Walmart Black Panther. And all that just depends on if anything from the Spider-Man, Deadpool and Black Panther waves ships before end of the year.

Even though it's so little left for the next three months and I haven't bought anything in a month and a half except the SDCC set, it's not like it hasn't been a great year. Just lopsided and so much for the first seven months.

I hear what you're saying, Nash. I'm mostly caught up as well when it comes to looking for Legends. So now I'll try to hammer out some customs I suppose. I'm looking for Torch as well, and I guess Medusa too.

I didn't think about that. If the BP wave is released before the end of the year...the hunt continues.

Same those are the only 2 packs I actually saw at retail, thankfully I was able to score the TRU exclusive ones online...

Not so much for me thank goodness. I need a downshift after the last three years though.

I know there will be more that I get than this, but I'm really only excited about Songbird, Shuri/Klaw, and the X-wave, the last of which I'm ..errr...X-static!...over. There's other stuff I'm liking but not all tingly thinking about. Like I'm glad we're getting a new X-23 but I'm not all "give me now!".

Granted the avengers waves may change that if we get The Black Order. If we don't I can see my level of excitement staying much the same.

I've yet to see the Star-Lord/Ego and Spidey/Iron Man sets. Fortunately enough, they're the two I have very little interest in. The Spidey/Vulture pack seems to be peg-warming, while I saw the MJ/Spidey and DP/Cyclops sets once, and luckily I bought them both on sight.

Fewer weapons, one head, red bandanna, and no shoulder web gear. Otherwise, yeah, it's the same.

Don't forget the missing trigger fingers. They remedied their previous oversight.
