However, speaking of Giffen, inasmuch as it regards his art (which I also liked), I didn't respond to your mention of Omega Men...another book I liked as a kid (birthplace of Lobo baby!!) and another parallel between us.

Enjoy Negation, man. I know it's a pain in the arse to track down, but it's so worth it. Obregon is the man!!! You'll see...lol
Yeah, love Giffen and the Legion. Best era.
Omega Men started great, but it was shocking how quickly the team got savaged straight away, similar to Alpha Flight. Hardcore stuff as a kid. And I guess they don't call Jim "death" Starlin for nothing. He and Giffen sure enjoy killing their characters.
Oh Lobo, so cool when he and Bedlam made their way through Kalista's ship. Epic.
And yep. Love Kaine and the gang already.

I really want them. Hasbro has been making up for the lack of MCU villains, and releasing The Black Order along with Thanos would just be so perfect.

Yeah, pretty ridiculous. I'm going to pass on even trying to get it online at this point as when I tried from the walmart site yesterday it was $30 with shipping and then I had to create an account - whatever happened to just checking out as a guest?

I've decided that if I see it in stores, I see it in stores and it's mine. Otherwise, screw it. It's the one that got away.

I would buy the Black Order, even if it is movie style. That would make for a great display!

Same here. I would much prefer comic versions but if what it takes to get them done at all is MCU versions, that's fine. I need some Proxima Midnight in my life!

With the exception of Proxima, most of the movie Black Order look almost identical to their comic counterparts, so this is one of those cases where you could probably fudge it and have it fit either a movie or comic display.

What does the movie version of Proxima look like?
**Never mind. I looked it up. You're right, she's pretty different. I suppose it could work if you needed it to fit on a comic shelf. Thanks for pointing that out, I really didn't realize how different those designs were.

The hands look awful with that spear. This is one of the few I'm not bothered by skipping on.

Normally I'd say you'd have a point..but since in this case Black Panther was a Walmart exclusive that shouldn't matter. Just walmart weirdness and corporate greed...of which yes, the base of your comment still stands.

Nobody knows the time, but yes, he drops tomorrow on HTS, with a limit of one per customer.

Is it because it's arguably a better-made toy?

(I say without having ever touched the older Deadpool, and only assume due to the time between the two releases and improvements Hasbro has made since then)

Man does this make me glad I got Black Panther months ago when it first showed up on the Wal-Mart website. Lord knows I'm never going to see it in stores. Hope the people that want it are able to get it for a reasonable price.

And speaking of which, Human Torch should be coming out this week according to my Walgreens computer. Exactly a day after my birthday on Thursday

I hope so! The guy who runs our local toy shop's been on vacation for a couple of weeks, and won't have his shop open again until next week, so we've been kinda jonesing for our plastic fix (wife had plans to pick up most of the Vulture wave from him). Between BP and Torch, it would be a nice way to sate the plastic hunger.

Forgot that they released a Gray X-Force DP already, is the costume and mold basically the same and we're just getting more accessories?

Nope. The old one was on a much older body with less/worse articulation and proportions. This new one is on the same body as the Marvel NOW!/modern Deadpool released in the Juggernaut wave (BuckyCap body), which is superior to the old one.

EDIT: In fact, you can see both the old and new Legends X-Force Deadpools in the group shot w/ the Mezco figures that 3233rafael posted; old is the one on the left, new is the one on the right.

Got the Homecoming/MCU Vulture today, really cool figure and I cant wait to complete the BAV Wings. I noticed his head is easily removable compared to some other ML's so was an unmasked Michael Keaton/Adrian Toomes head ever planned for the figure?
