I had read that the next wave (presumably after Xmen) the packaging will be larger..i figure that means the pricing will be higher too. I just love how StarWars Black is maintaining the 19.99 pricing for 6 in. Kinda hate that Jabba and Biker Scout gonna be $40 bucks but oh well..they did make detailed awesome figures. Except slave leia

Agreed. I think legends will go up to pay for the failures of the Captain America with shield shooting action that failed. Basically Hasbro is making us pay, for trying to offer toys to kids that they would not buy. THey should spend their resources by getting more Aim Soldiers and Hydra in stores....but that 3 inch captain america on his bike that does not sell was what they went with.

I understand star wars because the Bike and Jabba are deluxe figures but yep, Star Wars prices will go up and up because Hasbro can.

They don't have any obligation to do so of course, but I feel the same way everyone else does. I'm very attached to ML and if they ever wanted to put out a survey online for collectors of any brand, I'm sure they would get some really great feedback and lots of crappy ones at the same time lol.

I feel lucky in a way, because we got a new Emma, and we're getting Stryfe, Ororo and Magneto. I like the ASM2 Spideys, Cap Now, Boomerang, Black Cat, Zemo, Wrecking Crew, Madame Mask etc. I don't however expect every figure made to be my dream version, even though I buy them all, it's just not practical to expect it.

Too many conventions have come and gone without 'official' word on what they have planned with the lines in Marvel and other brands IMO, some companies have no problem and are infact excited to tell you things, but I don't 'sense'? It from the Legends perspective. Let's face it, ML has a big base of fans, they didn't bring the line back because they knew it would fail. I continue to hope that a rep from Marvel or Hasbro or both would visit forums like this from time to time, even if it was just to say 'Hold on until October, we've got something coming up and we'll let you in on it then' kinda thing.

It may be too much to ask from 'big toy' companies to care about much more than profit, but at the same time we are getting some really good figures sprinkled into the waves in the last while, and it can't be because they're not listening in somewhere, or everywhere lol.

I'm personally not worried if we don't get a wave of figures from the Fantasic Four movie, or Dr.Strange or Antman and if we didn't get them from GotG it would have been ok with me too. I can see how FF can bring us some amazing figures, but do I want the 4 in movie version? - no. All I'd want is great comic versions of them and some of their awesome enemies. Would that happen? - no.

DoFP figs would be great too, mostly, but where we are in the 'return' of ML is thin ice, at least for awhile. Hasbro and Marvel/Disney want to make products that will sell as much as possible, no peg warmers and they sure don't want their products ending up at TJMaxx etc. If the current boom in popularity continues we'll see more waves in a year, bodies will be updated etc etc. And if you look at the 'success' of the X-Men box set that fans were clammoring for, for a very long time, then you might have perspective on why they big companies aren't flooding every shelf in every store with ML's.

Just so you know, like Dave Vonner said in that interview he did last August, this line was and is a dream come true for me, so I'd hate to see it over saturate or burn too brightly too soon this time around. What I'm also saying, is that it's far too early to worry too much.

(I feel like I've said this before lol)

sorry if this rant wasn't edgy lol
I listen to Dave with SHartimus Prime and he was fantastic. The ToyBiz guys were COMIC BOOK FANS. They showed VOnner things from comics and asked him to TRY to do those sculpts. How awesome is that. I bet Hasbro sits with guys in suits and TRY to find the cheapest way to produce figures and cut back on plastic usage.

Hence the Legends were born because guys at ToyBiz wanted to TRY something different. Shame it's been over almost 10 years now.

Awesome, shame Marvel did not care enough for their fans and the license went to Hasbro.

I just got the entire Guardians of the Galaxy wave. I love them all except Rocket Raccoon. Anyone want a loose and complete Rocket? No build a figure part included.
That being said, the Nova is the best damn figure Hasbro has done.

Yes, me too. If I may ask, could you please show a pic of the two Nova's together?

I don't think the lack of a FF monthly book is necessarily a conspiracy, I just think there a bit played out. really it's a team who's name literally limits the number of members, they have been around longer than my mom, the writing (for decades) has been marginal at best, constantly revisiting the same plots and dynamics, I think Jean Grey is the only person in the marvel universe that has been "dead" as much as any FF member! and the plain and simple of it is since there creation (by the way at the time no doubt they were cutting edge) there have been so many "better" super heroes. I just think they come off as a bit generic now days, Reed: leader, super smart father figure. Ben: the muscle. Jonny: wise cracking smart ass kid. Sue: the woman with the ability to protect people and hide. the whole set up is too "beaver cleaver" to me. and like I said the writing over the series for a long time is just really out there. and to top it all off...I'll say it... I hate Reed and Sue's kid! or kids? how many do they have now? there are so many retcons and time skips and alternate realities and reboots in that book who the hell can keep it all straight! they are better off as background pieces until Marvel wants to devote a real writing team to stream line that title.

New space Nova Prime from the Guardians line with old pre-space New Warriors Nova from the Nemesis line. I think someone wanted to see this comparison??

I would love Hasbro to make some Then and Now 2 packs. Like Old and New Darkhawk, something along those lines.

My Nova sucked, loose joints everywhere. poorly painted shoulders, and the shoulder pads, why are they attached to his collar bone area?

TO me he was disappointing. Nice Metallic blue by does anyone else think the new plastic Hasbro uses feels cheap?

X-Men Pre-order is up at TRU. Shipping July 30th, limit 5 per character and qualifies for buy 1 get 1 40% off. (Max 3 discounts per transaction)

Also, they're only $14.99 each which is a surprise.

I believe when it ships, but they do an authorization to make sure the funds are there. I paid via PayPal and it shows pending and it said it won't take the funds out until the order is processed.

From TRU.com It says they dont charge until the items ship. But I placed my order and they did charge me already.

I'll call tomorrow and see what that's about. I don't mind being charged now but they shouldn't until my stuff ships.

Anyway....

Ordered 4. I couldn't be happier with the price.

I was just about to post the same thing...
just ordered the set plus and additional Styfe....
Tooo Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!

on a side note...Notice the price is 14.99 at TRU!! Whats going on considering the SRP had been 19.99 for Cap,Spdey and GOTG....

8.99 for a second figure is how it should have been all along!

X-men Marvel Legends:
Quick question: Who will be the most desired figure in this group?
Blackcat was for ASM2, BW for CapAmerica and Nova for GOTG..
so for Xmen I am saying Storm but I think Stryfe may surprise
