when i was first looking at the figure that is EXACTLY what i was thinking. I was looking at the BROWN, trenchoat sculpted arms which means if you pull the actual coat off you've got a weird looking figure and i would have loved for him to have normal blue arms. With it is cool...without it would have been a nice bonus.

I woud love to have a classic Silver Samurai in an X-Men wave. Even a BAF of the version from The Wolverine if it was possible.

It happens time to time cause we are all passionate about this stuff. Treat the forums like sports, you have teammates and opponites, leave it on the field and say good game to the other and high five your buddy. But always move on and never take anything said on here off the boards when logging off.

I hope in the next year we get some of the more Unique Spider Verse characters. I want SPIDER-HAM!!, and Manga Spidey, and Spider Man India, And Lady Spider ( the steampunk type female) , and Spider Knight, and most of all... The Bombastic Bag Man!!.
Hell they still need to make a Infinity War Doppelganger Spider, or Man-Spider too. And I have no DOUBT that we will see Demogoblin in the future. They have already used that body 3 times and I don't see then stopping any time soon. |

I never said I wasn't a jackass. I'm German, it's in my blood. I also learned from the best growing up.
If you don't like how I word things, go and block me, I couldn't care less. It's just one less hostile post I would have to read. I'm not even sure where this came from as all I said is that the Bane in Batman & Robin was far closer to be comic accurate than the one in The Dark Knight Rises, which is actually true. That craphat used venom, got bigger from it and was from Brazil. Tom Hardy's Bane was just a regular man mumbling in a mask and only beat Batman because he was injured and out of practice. Nevertheless, neither of them were developed in the slightest and were a waste of what should have been a good villain. Then again, Bane was nothing more than a gimmick in the comics, so maybe he was just as accurate in that regard... I know you’re entitled to your opinion, I just wanted to throw that little nugget at you. |

it does....and thanks.. Quote:
The problem is Bane was never a mindless sidekick who could only say one word. The traits Nolan got right were Bane’s superior intellect and peak physical condition. Remember, as SOOOOOOO many people like to say, “in the comics” Bane was already in peak condition before he ever took the venom. Tom Hardy as Bane was one of the most intimidating and interesting villains we’ve had on screen for a superhero film.

Man here we sit on the Marvel boards discussing a DC film that most people on DC boards want to forget ever happened. LOL. No offense to anyone of course, I actually thought it was better than most opinions I've seen on it, it's just funny to me.

Yeah, not that I've read a ton of Batman comics with Bane in it, but I've heard the whole venom thing isn't as synonymous with the character as the video games and cartoons would lead us to believe.

Unfortunately people seem to declare anything that is "wrong think" as hateful and outright wrong. It should always be the best ideas with best supporting evidence. |

I like to think of myself as a patient man. It has guided me to a successful life, but I found myself a little down after we didn't get any MCU Black Panther Marvel Legends reveals. After thinking about it over the past couple of days I finally realized Hasbro is waiting on the next trailer to be released, which makes sense. Thor: Ragnarok comes out on November 3rd, so I would expect to see another Black Panther trailer during that week. Then the full on promotion starts, and BANG, bring on the legends.

For some reason I don't really know to much about the Black panther outside of the MCU. So I have no idea about any of the characters in the movie other then Black Panther and the Klaw. But I will take Any New MCU figures

I can't remember where I saw it, but there was a list of the final three figures in the wave. I believe they were Black Panther, Killmonger, and Nakia. If this list turns out to be correct, I have a feeling Nakia will come with interchangeable heads to army build for the Dora Milaje. |

And you're right, I'm not helping matters either as I'm responding exactly as to how they are being written.

I'm feeling the opposite. I was expecting it to suck after how bad Thor 2 was (I consider it the worst of the MCU), but after the trailers, I am excited for it.

Same here, the trailers have all been fantastic, some of the best trailers that the MCU has had, in fact the first one may well be my favorite MCU trailer period. I have high hopes for this movie and the part it's going to play in other upcoming MCU films. I felt the first two Thor movies, while not awful, were lacking compared to the rest of most of the MCU movies, but this looks to beat those odds.

I’m going to get heat for this, but I thought the first Thor was brilliant. Kenneth Branagh brought the most Shakesphere experience he could to that film. That scene where Odin cast Thor out of Asgard and takes away his powers is still one of the most emotionally driven scenes to date in the MCU. The comedic timing is not the best, but boy do you feel for Thor when he fights his way through SHIELD and still cannot lift Mjolnir.

I think Ragnarok is gonna be fun. I'm not necessarily banking on it being good, but I think that a lot of the cast and crew are having a bit more of a good time with their roles. Even with the dark nature of the storyline (I mean, it is the Twilight of the Asgardians), there seems to be a lot of humor, both in the direction and in the actors' deliveries. Also, I have faith that Taika Waititi will deliver a solid product.
I'm with you, Panther - the first Thor was fantastic. I found parts of it boring, moreso than the other Phase One films, but all of the scenes in Asgard, all of that character interplay... it had dramatic weight. Branagh was a perfect choice for that film. In regards to the possible MCU Black Panther figures, I hope it's more than just the three of them, because I'd love a movie Shuri. She looks like she's going to be a fun character, and knowing that Letitia Wright's contract extends at least through Infinity War, it would be a shame to skip her over. Especially since we've seen Shuri figures slated to be included in the more kid-oriented lines. As an aside, comparing Adam West's Batman stuff to any of the Batman films is unfair, since Adam West's Batman was campy at a time when the public was eating up camp. It played to the era it was in. The subsequent movies have been made in different eras, when audiences weren't looking for that in their Batman... so when the camp came back with a vengeance in the Schumacher films, it was never gonna be well-received, especially while still trying to maintain some seriousness like the Burton films. The Adam West Batman knew what it was, and didn't try to be anything but that. See Also: Batman: The Brave and The Bold

60s Batman is classic Gold! 1st 2 Batman movies, great, ones with Kilmer/Clooney, especially Clooney, are dreadful putrid movies. 1st Nolan Batman movie was meh. Enjoyed the 2nd & 3rd ones much better. BvS Batman is my favorite in every way. Costume, build, demeanor. Affleck has the build all the other actors didn't. I could never take them seriously as a man who trained from a teen to age 28 to be an Olympic level athlete in the martial arts/wrestling/boxing/weightlifting/gymnastics,etc. Affleck did fit that mode.
His fight scenes vs the thugs while rescuing Martha were brutal! All the fight scenes in every other Batman movie combined don't come anywhere near that fight scene. |
