Thanks, I have so many marvel legends, 4 totes worth. Just displaying them becomes a chore so I rotate them constantly. Eventually when I get a bigger space I can give my ML collection the display space it deserves.

Great pics Kain. Love the final shot of the eyes changed. You need the other torso version with it zipped up top for the first pic, then opened after Morbius gets to her.

I have only seen the Locust 3 times now. My closest store to my house has been setting on one for 2 weeks now. I would be happy to find any sign of the actual series 2. I want Buck and Atriox.

...I don't know how some of you guys can go any amount of time without opening your stuff (if you're a loose collector, that is). The most I've ever let myself get backlogged is, like, a day or two, and never long enough to have more than a wave's worth of toys unopened.

Is it other priorities keeping you from it? A desire to wait until you have a pile to open? I just know that, when we get a bunch of new figures, my wife and I decide who gets to open what, and sit down and open them all together right then.

I'm currently sat on the Defenders set and 4/7 from the Homecoming wave (non-MCU bunch) - and also have the Netflix wave stashed until Christmas (present from the wife). I think it was nearly months between receiving my A-Force set and opening it.

I totally have the time to crack them straight away and find them a spot on the shelf quickly - but I prefer to savour the experience somewhat. I'll sit down, pop something on in the background (a movie I've seen before or maybe some stand-up - something I don't have to watch constantly) and take my time over it. Probably not opening everything that I've got to open - but I'd do wavemates together, especially if there's a BAF coming out of it. I'll check all the joints, test posing with any accessories and then set aside. Once I've opened all I'm going to do in that sitting, I'll pose them for a group shot or two - then transport them to the man cave to await the next shelf-shuffle. I'll also deconstruct all the packaging for recycling.

I'm not a sealed collector - but it's also nice to appreciate the packaged product for a while too. I also prefer to have a proper shelf-shuffle from time to time than to keep squeezing additional figures in gaps. The display can really start to suffer quickly from unplanned cameos!

Interested to hear others thoughts on this too!

Hence why I specified "loose collectors".

Also, you keep saying that, and yet it's a non-issue around here, or at least in this thread, aside from some good-natured ribbing (don't really go elsewhere). So it might be time to hang that one up, mang.

The only times I won't immediately open toys if I get home really late with them and I'm just too tired or if I'm building up for a birthday/Christmas haul. A big factor for opening as soon as possible with me is to discover if I'm going to need a replacement or not. If I wait to open something that becomes hard to get and there's an issue then it's harder and more costly to find a fix.

I'm pretty much an immediate opener too. Sadly they just go into a box after that due to space issues, but they are loose. I would have no way to have a boxed collection.

I do have a second Polaris though that will forever be in a box as a memorial to the triumph to her finally being released. Does that count?

It's not that i don't want to open them, It's just that i tend to wait til i have quite a few and also when i have a good amount of time. Time wise i'm very limited with my toys and even my comic reading. I'm literally 3 weeks behind reading. I guess when you have a 3 month old little one to tend to, family, work etc. Personal fun time has been cut drastically. Hopefully next year with a days off change i'll be able to catch back up with things

I feel you on the comics. We're easily a month behind... I'm probably a month and a half, since I read a coupe more titles than she does.
