A lot of hate in this post. I will leave it alone; if you think calling someone Hitler and making fun of someone's skin color at the same-time(irony) is the way to go about dialogue, the conversation needs to end immediately as the IQ level and words being leveled are in clear cohesion of an unstable, emotional person.

Just because they own the studios with nostalgic franchises doesn't mean squatt. New franchiese are created every day. Either way, I don't see why it matters when Disney puts quality into their work.

Do people not know what monopoly means? It means the holder exclusively controls something, usually an industry. The existence of even one competitor means it isn't a monopoly (duopoly). Disney is not monopolising the entertainment industry, not by a long shot. As Dr Kain has written there are many competitors to Disney.

I swung by a local Wal-Mart (looking for Star Wars Black Series figures, after seeing The Last Jedi) tonight, and spotted a case of Black Panthers.
Anyone else seen these in stores recently ? I have the feeling that Hasbro and Wal-Mart decided to postpone the official release of this figure, to coincide with the release of the BP wave, and that pretty soon, they'll be just as easy to find as the Wal-Mart exclusive Falcon and Winter Soldier Legends that are still clogging the pegs.

Well how else should I describe that piece of shit pedophile in the White House? Crybaby Orange? Orange Oompa Loompa?
Uh... The Simpsons is now owned by Disney too. It includes their TV studio. This means we may finally get actual remasters of Simpsons and have them released on BD without being cropped. Did you blatantly ignore all of the other movie studios I listed? Just because they own the studios with nostalgic franchises doesn't mean squatt. New franchiese are created every day. Either way, I don't see why it matters when Disney puts quality into their work. |

The only thing it is going to effect is us getting good X-Men and Fantastic Four movies for once. Just look at Star Wars. Disney has given us 3 fantastic movies in a row, something Fox couldn't do.

I did a hair swap using my Vintage Widow head and the hair piece from the original Phoenix figure. Took a little bit of work, but I think it came out rather nicely. At least she no longer looks exactly like Mary Jane.

Got Namor from BP wave last week. Not opened yet. He looks good but I think I like the bearded head better. Killmonger, Nakia, Okoye and BP on its way, hopefully before Xmas. I will get Black Bolt later on in the wild. I still like the original one.
Also got the Ronan from Chinabay, and he's awesome. It's actually better painted than the original BAF, and taller than I expected. Now I have all the BAFs I ever wanted. Thank you to whomever posted about it. If I didn't already have Jubilee, I would defo purchased it. Finally I got two customs arriving. Vamp and Astra, two characters I am pretty sure will never be made. I picked up Hussar years ago from the same customiser, and I can see a vast improvement on the paint apps. Will post pics when I stop working insane hours, probably during Xmas, which I will spend updating my cabinets and propping up all the shelf-divers. I guess I'm done with Marvel Legends for the year! I can focus on my other collections. |

Also I'd would watch the majority of the X-Men movies over Rogue One again any day. |

Thanks Nitelife! Best part about it...it doubles as a "McFarlane" MJ head, since Todd had a thing for drawing women with huge Peggy Bundy dos and smashed in faces with pouty lips...

I tell you, the Chinabayers have gotten a lot better at this. The few items that are KO that I picked up from China are miles ahead in terms of quality from those old Deadpools that used to be so popular. |

Rogue One is easily the second best Star Wars movie thus far. It puts the war in Star Wars.

^ The weird thing is I consider a lot of those figures obsolete... so I guess as a collector they are neat to have, but as toys... not so much.
I'm surprised at how little value that juggernaut deadpool retains on the secondary market though... I always see him being scalped at only around 25 bucks MIB. Those older Marvel legends deadpools used to be way more expensive before they became obsolete with the release of newer versions and nobody really wanted them anymore. |
