Anyone here pick up one of those HK 2 Pack Hulks off ebay? I figure it's likely a factory runoff or knockoff and not too bothered by that, just wanna know how tight the joints are or how durable the figures are in hand. The price is great and need that kind of Hulk to fit in with RoML Thor, IM3 Heroic Age Iron Man, and the Marvel NOW Captain America.

I got shipping confirmation on one today and may have it by Friday, so I'll let you know then. It was too nice of a deal to pass up on - $23.00 US! Free shipping of course never hurts. It's funny, now that I've ordered HK Deadpool white and blue, also Gargan-Venom and they estimate delivery to be up to 6 weeks, I've been getting them in 5 or 6 days.

Terrible phone pic, most all of the joints are soft and all the waists are loose, but when am I getting one of these from an average ebay seller? Uhm...never.

Exactly, that price is just ridiculous. And yeah, if you can get a few pics in then that'd be most excellent.

I've gotten one before, they're actually of pretty good quality. The only nitpick I have is that mine ended up with a mold line right down the biceps, but beyond that, they're great!

Funny story. I almost caused a riot at a LCS this weekend. I found a DC Collector's Wonder Woman Villain toy (probably not describing it right as I'm not a DC collector) that I thought would make a great stand in for a ML Selene sans cape as she's in a black outfit.

Took it up to the register and the guy was all "oh this was such a great storyline," et all and was trying to sell me on the other figures and when I said that I was only interested in this one it was like the inquistion as to why - I actually had some guy start shouting at me that I "can't do that!!" 8O.

Needless to say the owner didn't really care a sale is a sale. She looks great though. Just had to share that story for it's funny yet dramatic nature. lol

I dont normally buy Marvel Legends. more of a MU scale person. But I own a couple. yesterday I ran into Black Cat, and by god that is one amazing figure. Picked her up immediately. Very impressed by her and she has a special place on my big figure shelf between Boba Fett and Thor

Same, only if it's a figure I don't have in the MU scale then I'll go for the Legends.

Thanks! Iron Man's lines were done by going over the creases with a tiny brush and Cap I think I just did it the normal way where you brush over the sculpt with watered down paint then quickly wipe over it with a rag or napkin and repeat.

@ Betoxio - I too have that Deadpool from a great Arker in the UK, but for some reason I can't bring myself to open one of the 2 yet...it's like knowing my birthday could come at any time I choose! Lol

That and the FF Doom...thanks for reminding me, I'm giddy all over again!

So Im all caught up in the GOTG hype and looking for more cosmic characters to add to my cosmic Legends. Ive never heard anyone bring up Angela im their talks or in their pictures so I wa wondering the general consensus on getting the Spawn line figure of her to add to my cosmic Legends. Thoughts??

From what I can find, the original version of the figure is approx 6" so from a size perspective it should fit. Obviously the styling of the figure will be a bit different and it will be lacking some more modern articulation but it should work.

As for why nobody has brought her up, Angela is a relatively new addition to the modern GotG team. If I had to guess on the lack of comments, it's because a lot of fans (myself included) are actually from the 2008 DnA run (which the upcoming movie is apparently somewhat based on) rather than the new run.

Speaking of all of that, if you read comics and want some great reads, check out Annihilation and the Nova and GotG runs that followed it. Richard Rider is one of my favorite characters after reading that solo series. It might add to your GotG/Cosmic hype though so be warned LOL. Oh and Cosmo FTW!

I wish I did, but I gave him to a friend. :P but I will tell you he looks great next to those figures, 'cause I actually had that exact setup (though sometimes I'd switch Bleeding Edge and Extremis)

He's not bad, just reaaaally wish they at least made some swappable hands for him. This whole one fist, one repulsor hand thing makes me sad.

Haha dang, no worries. I've got one coming in the mail after one of the sellers accepted my best offer. Only things I hope for are correct parts and sturdy joints.

yeah i fell for the IM2 movie wave , didn't really get comic figures but we got swap-able hands luckily they did a war-machine ^_^
but seem to get simple, but looking at the new Captain America and Spider-man waves they seem to be returning ... well for the main movie characters....

question, on figures like Psylocke and Elektra, that foot joint, is there an easy way to replace it? The foot on my Psylocke is stiff and I fear it will snap one day. any ideas? even people to send it to to do the fix?

They really need to make another X-Men legends line and give us the Anka suit

Hit it with a hair dryer or if you don't have that even some water warmed up in the microwave will do the trick.

Both. Hot water will make the plastic pliable enough to potentially free up the hinge or the swivel part. Popping the foot off might show if there's excess plastic on the peg which was preventing it from turning.
