NoodleChow...where did you get the head cast? I would get a few of them I think, even one for the X-Factor suit maybe

Pretty sure I got it from The Casting Cave but can't seem to find the listing. If it's not up, message the dude about em or try CKCastings. Think he has em as well.

Lol that is exactly what I'm currently doing. Still waiting on the NOW! Cyke's belt of course, but obtained a Jim Lee headsculpt from a XMC Cyclops I got from a carboot a month ago for 95p!

Worth noting that I'm referring to a blue and red Cyclops, not the full Jim Lee one. It does have the exact same headsculpt though. Can't find pictures atm.

I'll show my custom when it's done soon.

Hey all, I was wondering if any of you own Guardian from the Ares series? And if so, could one of you fine folks please post a pic alongside Bucky Cap, Archangel and any other new bodies that may fit his head? I'm thinking about ordering the head and putting it on the suitable body from ROML. The original head looks too small for the body it comes with, so I'm worried it may not fit the new bodies either. Thank you in advance!

Casting Cave only has what they currently have casted on their website, but they restock pretty often plus they have really fast shipping. CKCasting usually cast them after they are ordered, and I had to wait about two months for them to arrive.

Yep, I needed a few things that were out of stock a couple months ago so just messaged him and he had some casts ready that weren't listed so I was able to grab those. And yeah CKCastings is based in Canada and takes a bit longer. I think it was 2 weeks to a month for my order.

Was his head the same peg hole?
Was it easy to pop off like most female figs?
I also think the hawkeye head could be good too.

Also has anyone tried chopping star-lord's jacket down?
I also assume we aren't getting a second wave of guardians if comic star-lord is the sdcc exclusive?
and last weird thing to throw into the convo, in the marvel young guns issue, Sara pichelli had to do guardians of the galaxy box art for the same thing we got the gold age of ultron figure. Perhaps we're going to get a marvel now version of one of the 5 guardians, or maybe even all of them through that.

The Astonishing Cyclops head does just pop off, but you will have to drill out the hole in the new Jim Lee style head to the size of the one on the Astonishing Cyclops.

Yeah, would need to dremel the headcasts to fit the neck joint but the original head should pop off really easily. If we're talking about the Hasbro Hawkeye then they both share the same body so the heads should be very compatible.

I'd seen a few folks on Fwoosh chopping off their Quill coats but don't have any links to the posts off hand. Looks ok depending where the cut is exactly. Think his hips/pelvis end up looking too small as a result but overall it looks decent.

And guessing if a 2nd wave were to be revealed, we'd find out in a couple weeks at SDCC. I really wish comic Star Lord were offered in this wave in the first place but that makes way too much sense.

Anyone know what the Unmasked Apoc Wolverine head would look like on the Brown Series 6 Wolverine?

I love that Frank Miller Wolverine. But I would need to buy those parts. Hopefully someone can give me a photo to see if they fit. Apoc one might be to big.

This isn't exactly what you asked for, but by this pic it looks like brown suit is a bigger figure, so the Apocolypse Wolverine may be too small for the other body.

However, they could be the exact same size lol, and it deceives me because of the mask sizes

That would be so cool if they do have a second wave, and have comic Star Lord in as a mass retail version. I know this is a pipe dream, but a comic Gamora on the Moonstone body would be awesome. A new comic Drax on the Hyperion body would nice as well.

As much as a peg warmer as Drax was I do not see a new one coming unless they make it Classic Ron Lim style from the Infinity Gauntlet. Big , stupid, Hulk Like Drax. Give me a Infinity Watch era set with Gamora, Moonstone, Warlock, Drax and Pip the troll. I mean the Puck BAF is just begging to be made into a Pip.

Wow, that shocks me that the Astonishing one is so small. Thank you so much for the comparison.

Maybe we'll get that comic book BAF sentinel since they were so kind enough to release that...taht...that....BAF Jubilee.....lol

I was just adding to the pipe dream. Most likely they'll announce a packaging change, charge more money, lessen the articulation...

I keep wondering why I like my spidermen so much, it's the fun of the poseability, the finger joints, the ab joint the TOE joints are fantastic and make posing fun. I compare it to Mattel, no fun that's why their is no real ACBA committed to it like legends.

I appreciate the Toybiz SPiderman figures so much, the Hasbro one was a nice attempt, but just reuse Toybiz molds in the future. Will we ever see a McFarlane again....I hope someone asks them that question at SDCC....the response better not be "We'll see."

*moondragon

but agreed! I want that Gamora, and you can use the same torso from Black Cat and give it Moonstone feet and a hand that can hold a dagger.

If not, I want marvel now Gamora the most.

I have a sick feeling that Gamora could be the exclusive figure.
