Just a thought - if the rest of the X-Men wave leaks before Toyfair, we're really going to get let down with lack of new information...unless they show us some neat exclusives (Professor X Hoverrider please!!!)

I wish that old BAF had the Infinity Gauntlet. I might have to track down that WalMart one now.

Iron Man MK48: Triangle arc reactor is back huh? I have the MK47, which is patterned off of my favorite Iron Man armor ever (the Ultimates) so I'm good.

Taskmaster: I was on board for this one initially, but for some reason, Hasbro changed the entire face sculpt from the one that was shown at Toy Fair last year. Why? Did Super 7 threaten to sue?

Songbird: I voted against her in the Hasbro poll every single time. Had no interest then, have no interest now. Though, the psi-effect might look good with Phoenix or the upcoming Psylocke.

Proxima Midnight: Uhh...who? Naw....I'm good.

Superior...ahem...I mean...Iron Spidey: I told myself only if he had the extra arms on the backpack. He doesn't...so therefore...easy pass.

King Cobra: The ONLY figure I'm excited for in the wave. If the way past Serpent Society members languished on shelves is any indication, I'm not expecting too difficult of a time picking him up.

Steve Rogers: This was actually one of the figures that I was most excited for, because I thought we would be getting a decent head sculpt of Chris Evans for once. After seeing the new close up pics, BOY did they miss the mark. It's awful. Does Hasbro not have the rights to Evans? It looks more like Andrew Garfield. What happened to the face printing tech? Looks like I will be digging around for a custom headsculpt somewhere.

Thanos BAF: Cool...they made a figure of what Joss Whedon would look like if he was cross bred with an eggplant. Awesome.

The headsculpt really sucks, and you know they most likely will give us a fully armored Thanos BAF in the future (cause...HASBRO!) so...why jump at this early?

Horrible...horrible wave. Hasbro is really making it easy to pinch my pennies this year. Guess I should be thanking them.

I don't collect MCU versions of actors so I save lots of $$ on this wave as only TM & KC for me. But if I was an MCU buyer, I'd be pretty POed with those bad Rogers & Thanos head sculpts, that's for sure. Only getting 6 figures in total from the movie Black Panther wave, the BAF Lizard wave & now the BAF Thanos wave.
Sub Mariner
Black Bolt
Mysterio
Prowler
King Cobra
Taskmaster

Only wave I'm getting everyone is the awesome Sasquatch BAF wave. And even in that one, I'll be selling off X-23 & that extra DP. Classic 90s DP is the only version of him that I need.

I was really looking forward to the Cap, but outside the original Avengers and Winter Soldier ones, I have been really unimpressed with most of the movie representations thus far. The unmasked heads are so generic that they not only bear no resemblance to Evans, but to no other comic characters really as well. I've even considered getting the Figuarts Civil War version to scratch this itch, but the cost and difficulty in finding an authentic one make it a risky adventure, and in the end, it won't be uniform to the rest.

With the progress that Hasbro has made with the digital printing, especially with the Guardians and Netflix waves, I was really excited to see how this Cap would turn out, hipster beard and all, because it's something that could be easily fudged onto any of the MCU versions. And then, they give us Andrew Garfield in "Silence" as opposed to Chris Evans in "Infinity War." It was a huge letdown.

Still scratching my head over the change of headsculpt for Task Master. I might pick it up, but I would probably be popping the head out of the hood of the Udon one and swapping out the new sculpt.

Thankfully I only need King Cobra from this entire wave. Don't care about anyone else.

I'm still all-in on Songbird and King Cobra, but Tasky will have to wait until I see him in-person before I make the call. I already have my sweet, sweet Udon Tasky, which is all I need in my life, but if classic Tasky is compelling enough in-hand, I'll bite.

The MCU figures are not so much my thing. I might change my mind on Proxima Midnight, but again, I'll have to see her in-hand to make the final call. As it is, I'm not compelled.

At least the BAF means I'll be saving my pennies for the Walmart-exclusive Thanos. Just not that appealing to me.

But yeah, I'm with Nash on this - what's Hasbro gonna have at ToyFair that'll actually be a surprise? I know it's only another two weeks, but given how quickly these leaks have been hitting, I'm hoping they're just holding a LOT of new stuff in their back pockets.

2017 was a big step forward for MCU Marvel Legends. The only one I didn’t care for was Mantis wave Star-Lord. I’ve said this a couple of times, but i could’ve done without the duplicates. With that being said, this wave looks good, comic figures included. It’s going to be very tough for me not to hold onto King Cobra. I can’t wait to see what else Hasbro is bringing to the table in regards to Infinity War. I know we won’t get every major character, however, whatever Hasbro dishes out will be added to my collection.

And I see we’re back on the “figures of actors”. With all due respect, we’re all collecting fictional characters from the pages of comic books and that is a fact. That “figures of actors” is condescending and weak.

Some people will compare comic vs movie - but each individual has the right to choose not to...

Come on people, we were doing so well at allowing each other to have our own opinions!

EDIT:
@LordMarvel: I recognise you stated clearly that it was your opinion - so not really directed at you.

@Tomax: I'm sure you meant well - but you've cut the quote off before the important "imo". He's only giving his opinion, which he's entitled to. You're entitled to a different opinion - but it doesn't invalidate his (or hers?).

I realise I'm not a mod - I'm not telling people how or what to post. I'm just offering my opinion on what could lead to a better atmosphere around here. I really like this forum when we're openly sharing opinions and having constructive discussion - rather than just bashing what someone else posts because we disagree.

I think there is a strong possibility they will finally reveal the Walmart exclusive Thing. They talked about having him sculpted last year.

You mean Walgreens right? Or something new and different?

I'm just hoping maybe we'll see some of Deadpool and Avengers waves 2, even if it's just a few figures more than we've seen already. Sure bet they'll reveal the rest of the X-wave. Oh and Legendary Riders..and of course...please c'mon Hasbro you can do it...GSMX set!!!

Fun fact for anyone that wants it: if someone's annoying you or trying to troll on this forum there's an "ignore" function in your control panel, just type in their name and all their posts are hidden! Just a heads up!

^ I bet it will look better in person. Not like Starlord looks exactly like Chris Pratt, but it is still a nice headsculpt IMO. So I don't really mind if it doesn't look exactly like Chris Evans as long as it is a nice looking headsculpt.

Also... I wonder if the white hooded alt head that comes with the Udon Taskmaster from the old cap wave will fit on the new classic Taskmaster we are getting.

Dorkside has this up as well! Unfortunately 2 of the 3 figures I want total from this wave are not available for individual purchase, so it looks like I'm going to have so much fun tracking this down

Marvel Legends Spider-Man Lizard Wave Case of 8 Action Figures PRE-ORDER FREE SHIPPING

Marvel Legends Deadpool Wave 1 Case of 8 Action Figures PRE-ORDER FREE SHIPPING

And yes, that includes Mysterio. Ah well, something to hunt at least!

*@#**#! I literally had a Domino in my cart but it was giving me some kind of login error and wasn't accepting my address...by the time I worked it out she's no longer available by herself. Oh well guess I'll be looking for all three of these in the wild.

EDIT: that's no reflection on DOrkside by the way. THey've done great by me in the past. I think it may actually be fun to look for these three in the wild and shouldn't have an issue finding the Deadpool wave. Mysterio may be a bit trickier.
Edit edit: Never mind, just ordered them loose, since I have no real interest in completing either BAF!

I wonder if The Toy Source (sister site of TFSource) will get them in? I have store credit. I'd rather pay with store credit than with cash. What to do, what to do?
