Thank you for the heads up!

Grabbed Valkyrie on the cheap, and picked up a Misty Knight for $9.99!

They also had the Quill/Ego 2 pack on sale for $20.49 in store (but the web site lists it at $17.49, so not sure what is up with that).
If the price on the Target site is lower than the price in-store, just show them the Target website page for it at the register and they'll price-match it.

They don't do that at my Target. Not only do they make you go to Customer Service to price match, but it has to be a physical ad with that price, not an online price. It also has to be the entire ad, not just a page from it.

Wow, that's weird. At least at the Target I worked at this holiday season, and probably the several others in the area, they do the price match right there at the register, and readily accept online prices. I would have thought that was a company-wide policy, rather than one that varies store-to-store.

I saw the Thor 2 pack on sale at my local Target and decided to give it a skip. It's a good deal if you need it, just not for me.

And @Tomax, I would enjoy a Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider too. Would him in a car be too much to ask for in a legendary riders wave?

Speaking of the Legendary Riders, were we ever given an actual MSRP for them? I don't recall ever seeing a price being listed in any of yhe announcements. The scalpers on ebay seem to think 79.99 is a fair price, so I'm guessing they are between 29.99 and 39.99?

If I had to guess, I would assume $39.99. I would think they treat it like a 2 pack so it would fall around there. But that's just a guess. I have no solid proof.
I wonder if the bikes will be a one size fits all kind of deal or if they will only work with the figures they come with. If they get marked down to clearance, I could see myself buying a few extra for custom purposes/other display options.
*Edit- Maybe just the Black Widow one, unless the flames easily come off the Ghost Rider cycle.

Hasbro said they would be $40 way back in Oct.

It's possible they recently changed it, but I was so disgusted with the service when I was trying to price match TRU that I decided it just wasn't worth the hassle.

Even back in Nov, they released Stranger Things on 4K, so I brought in my BD set they released in Oct to do an exchange and pay the difference and they wouldn't let me because it had been 31 days since I had bought the BD. So not only did they screw over their customers by not releasing it on 4K the same day as the BD, they also purposely waited 31 days to release the 4K version just so they could deny people the ability to upgrade their previous purchase.

Grabbed the Thor/Valkyrie pack last night for that steal of a price. Anyone interested in the Thor? He's got two left gripping hands, but since my goal was the Valkyrie, I wasn't gonna go for a sloppier face-up just to give Thor the proper hands. PM me an offer; otherwise he's going up on the 'Bay later this week.

Just a heads up I think this is the way of the world now. Every time I see ads for home releases they list the BD date like it is the street date and then have a separate later date for the 4K release. Not sure if it will always be 31 days, but going forward I doubt we will see same day releases of BD and 4K, just one more headache to deal with...

Back on topic/// I think the last four waves revealed/released will all peg warm except for maybe 5 figures in all. I think it will be moderately hard to find most of the Deadpool wave, but I don't see any of the other figures besides Mysterio being that difficult to find. I plan on playing the long game on the missing MCU figures that have/will release because I still cringe thinking about what I paid for the Netflix and GOTG2 waves.

I'm with you on that. Chances are likely within a year or two I may own most of the waves coming out this year, but there's pretty much 1-2 figures I really want out of every wave except the X-men wave, which will be case ordered. I figure I'll get the 1-2 figures per wave I want now, and just wait on the rest if I want them at all, when they may be half as much online or retail clearance. I'm to the point there's no need to rush anymore.

I am with people here as I actually missing most figures this year. I am someone who has nearly every figure ever released from TB and Hasbro.

I think part of the problem is all the money is spent on the MCU figures and the BAFs aren't worth it any more. Also because of the MCU, figures that are straight repaints are not worth it. The upcoming Venom and the Carnage are straight re-releases with a backpiece or extra hands.

I think this is me going forward; 2 figures per wave maybe worth it as the BAFs and completing waves aren't worth the hassle and price any more.

Netflix and GOTG were all over for me at least. Only one i decided to preorder was death's head II because i THOUGHT he might have been a hard to find figure. Which i was wrong.

I say out of everything that deadpool wave will be damn near impossible to find. Of course some stores will have about 10 paladin figures sitting for months....

Much like Hasbroherofan, the only figure I see being easily available from the Deadpool wave is Paladin. I think everyone else will be hard to come by, which I why I pre-ordered the set on Big Bad. In the Infinity War wave, I think Songbird and King Cobra might be easy to find. Maybe even Taskmaster. It reminds me f the Civil War wave. The comic based figures were easy to find in my area. Even Nick Fury was clogging shelves after a while. Again, maybe that was just in my area. I don't know what it looked like for everyone else.
Overall, I think the Spider-Man wave will be easy to find, but since I want everyone anyway, I went with the Big Bad pre-order again. It just saves me the gas.

I agree. It's not worth the time or gas hunting. I normally hit a walmart store once to twice every week to actually shop. I also will go hit the toy aisles. Other then that, nope i refuse to do a "hunt". Especially with some stores having in stock waves from a year or so ago in stock, no legends at all, or scalpers grabbed all the good ones.

The hunting is why I'm glad I have a local guy who gives me figures at regular retail (or, hell, exchanges them in place of payment if I help him around his shop sometimes), since he's always on top of ordering the new stuff directly, and even sells figures without the BAF pieces for cheaper (or sells the completed BAF for a reasonable price).

That's just it though. There was no announcement for the 4K set at all. It wasn't even listed in their ads. It just showed up in their stores and on their website the day it came out.

Hell, there was technically no announcement for the BD, but they did show it in their ad, which is how people found out it existed in the first place two-three weeks before it came out. Target was just being a bitch when it came to the 4K version because they knew everyone would want to upgrade.

You are a luck person. Did they start hitting stores, ans which stores? I would like to get both of these sets by the year's end. And, Arker, question? How much are they going for, do not want to get ripped off, and when are we going to see some out of the box pictures of these two superheros.
