Agreed. She's getting an alt body with her punk rock gear as soon as she arrives so I can finally get closer to having my Paul Smith 80's X-Men lineup. =)

I mean he is really good compared to most of the other Legends that have been coming out. I think Black Widow from WS is still probably the best. Stryfe may not have the Chrome shine I might want, or the sword be Chrome and gold but when you look at him, he is big, imposing, sculpted well, I just really like the figure a lot. I am sure someone like Jin Saotome could do a great repaint.

My local TRU says they haven't even received them yet. that's a "UGH"

I hate toy buying these days. You wait forever for them to hit your store then the one box they put out is gone in a heartbeat never to be re-stocked again.

well give it 3-4 weeks because they've got to ship them over here ,
When i first saw the spider-man wave i was shocked and thought and bought black-cat, i saw 3-4 weeks because of shipping from US to UK takes it's time but GOTG figures are coming soon so maybe we'll see them with GOTG figures
I think 100% at the end of August though but can't say for sure. Apart from 1 comic book store and maybe TRU i can't see or find anyplace where can buy legends and last resort is ebay.
Hoping TRU will be the main place though

While I'm complaining about toy buying this is the perfect picture. See all the Spiderman crap piled around 1 set of Legends. Loads of crap no one is going to buy. Why does hasbro/TRU/retailers have a hard time figuring this out.

*Edit Can't figure out what happened with photo. but you'll see it above from Phantomcrow

That's the scene in every store I try shopping at in my area except the LCS's (who have all stayed away from Legends since the movie oriented rebranding). Seriously, even if I was a kid in the target age range for those things, I wouldn't pick that junk up. My only guess is that ordering all that crap in addition to the collector oriented lines somehow gets Hasbro some kind of shipping container discount from China. Otherwise, it's like seeing a clogged toilet every trip that no one bothers to clean up.

The sad thing is, people do buy it. The cheaper they make them the less they charge at retail, so people who aren't us must be buying that stuff. Quality isn't for everybody, but I see more waves of ML being bought from WM and Target up here every time I'm in one of those stores. If I'm buying a card or cheap cola/ chips etc, I always go peek in, and I always see a that a new case or two has come and gone, due to different figs on the pegs, except for TRU (price issues). You're right, the same stuff sits, WM tries to blow it out, Target just removes it and TRU leaves it at the same price for years!

I don't do retail for my ML or anything in my collection anymore, it's all from my LCS. It costs less in the end because I'm not driving to help open the store every day lol. There is a 'scalper' issue here as bad as any other city, I've seen them 'at work' many, many times. So I do what makes sense for me.

Summer is a time for yard sales up here, everyone tries to sell off what they don't want/ need anymore and that's where I see the $5 toys, and any ML's I find are looser than water balloons, and we all know why.

I just stopped at my local target today (the only one I could get to early mornings) and they had all that spiderman stuff clearanced at 70% off for a while now. And they stopped carrying legends and marvel infinite (the good stuff). Even little kids including mine just don't seem interested in the cheapie stuff.

I think the new Wolverine maskless version is alright, but Nightcrawler or Dazzler would have been better. I know they wouldn't do that because of how diversified the wave is already.

Only 1 'odd/ weird' character per wave and that's where we draw the line!

Yeah. Of the 3 TRU I hit Wednesday, ALL of them had just put the X-men Legends where ever there was an empty hole. 1 ,from the pic above, was just between some Spidey stuff. They did the same to the Cap:WS figures also. The other 2 TRU just had them somewhere in the "Marvel" area. At least Target has some form of organization about where they put stuff. Part of the time I just want to organize the hell out of a TRU action figure isle if they would let me.

What drove me wild was we didn't need magneto. Here was a perfect chance for moonstar, Phoenix or aoa jean.

NO the Magneto helmet is not removable. It IS a separate glued piece so IF you wanted to do a little work you could get it off and have a bald Magnus.

So referring to the couple comments above about retailers does everyone stores look exactly like this:

CA ML Emtpy (Maybe a WW2 Cap here or there)
SM ML Full of Superior and Amazing Spiderman's
GOTG ML Empty (Maybe Starlord)
X-Men TRU Empty

All of these spaces were the ML are suppose to be are surrounded by loads of the 3 3/4 inch CA figs, Kids SM Crap, junky GOTG toys, Mashers, 12" titan series figures, masks, and loads of other crappy toys that never move. But the Legends are always empty.

This has been the scene at every store I've hit over the last year. And I have loads of Targets/Walmarts and 3 TRU's in my area, it never changes.

I found the new Cap 2: WS case at Target this morning (2 black widows, 2 WS, 2 each of 2 caps). This was Manassas, VA. So if you're still looking for widow, time to start checking.

Oh yeah, Marvel Legends are the bastard child of Hasbro. Stores only order 1 case because they cost more and take up more space. So they feel that the cheaper products that are smaller or cheaper crap like the TITANS garbage will sell. Yet the majority of the time the product (ML) that sells first and fastest has the smallest area of shelf space. They really need a Brand Manager for Marvel Legends who knows how the real market is for the product.

Yesterday evening I decided to do a few quick mods to one of my extra Black Cat figures. I swapped out the heels for some flats that I bought from casting cave, and I did some repainting.
