I think it's possible it will. I won't discount it, and I'm not being dismissive of the popularity of the new characters. Their films have done anything from moderately to extremely well. I just think it IS a possibility.

LOL

My second-favourite review of the film (numero uno being Armond White’s cruel-to-be-kind evisceration) begins with this very apropos anecdote:

Stalin famously had a buzzer installed to let his sweating henchmen know when it was finally safe to stop applauding the Great Leader without fear of being sent to the Gulag

I think the MCU has gone beyond any “film franchise”, think of other franchises, Friday the 13th, with what 10 films over three decades, about he same with nightmare on elm st. And most horror franchises are in the same numbers and time frame with one every few years. Sci-fi being the same with the big two being Star Wars and trek, none haveing more than 10 films under there belt. And until reciently most franchises stopped at a trilogy. Now look at marvel... you got the LOTR crowd with Thor, the Tom Clancy crowd with cap, the sci-fi crowd with GOTG, the magic genera with dr.strange, classic comics with ant man, spidey, iron man, panther and avengers. With every one of the franchises being unique in concept and feel, while simultaneously existing within the same larger universe. And putting out 2 to 4 films a year! Shit we get more MCU films than episodes of game of thrones! I think at leas for the foreseeable future, if they keep putting out material of the quality they have been Marvel is its own genre, it’s like Horror, that can span from ghosts, to aliens, to serial killers. Marvels the same. I just can’t wait till they bring the x men into the MCU.

Damn....I guess Cable and X-Force DP are going to get scalped heavily.

Yeah I could easily see them moving forward with a new Avengers team with Black Panther, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Wasp and maybe one or two people from the previous team like Scarlet Witch or something. Maybe Buckycap as well. And if/when the Fox merger officially goes through, they might even throw Wolverine or Beast on the team.

Either way they've built up a very strong stable of new heroes, which is very impressive.

Not to mention, the Russos have stated that one of their goals with Infinity War and Avengers 4 is to give more spotlight to the non-solo-film members, like Wanda, Sam, Vision, etc. So hopefully they'll have enough character power by Phase 4 to help maintain a post-Big Three team.

So just wondering if anyone not into the MCU legends has the BAF parts that came with Black Bolt (Leg) and Namor (Arms)?

I took the $17 plunge on each of the others today, but don't want to purchase those two for baf parts only.

Let me know if anyone has them

Thanks!

You may be right, I'll have to wait and see. But there will definitely be a part of me that checks out after Iron Man leaves. He's my favorite.

Hellz no,...your cart means nothing until it is PAID for.
Think about how often people keep thinks in their cart...and then walk away..go eat, take a nap.. a shower, go to work..come home, watch porn or cartoons..or both... and THEN remember they had a browser window up with something in their cart.. Then go "OH"... i didn't want that anyway.

And the new heroes are key, and they still aren't as notable as the characters they could potentially get from the Fox deal. If the deal is finalized and more movies are able to be made with "new" characters, you've got something very special in the works.

A Ren-X-ance! Honestly really looking forward to what they do with the X-Men in the MCU (provided they do go that route which I assume they likely would.)

I like it! They're so close...so close. The deal won't be finalized until next year around this time, so it's very important to me that Marvel Studios finishes the story they've been telling since 2008. If there is one thing we could possibly see it's a post credit scene in Avengers 4. They just need to stay the course.

I agree! That and....get that Dark Phoenix movie released. Because we're so close with that, as well. Even if it's not that great, we just..."need" it lol. Provided it's not a 2 part movie I honestly don't care what happens to the XCU after that and will look forward to what Marvel Studios will be doing with them.

First, yes blade NEEDS to come back, the blade movies still hold up to me as some of the best marvel content ever put on screen. if it was up to me bring him in the way they did punisher in the Netflix daredevil series. Do some kind of supernatural tie in to the hand or something and integrate him with the defenders. Derenders also better have some kind of interaction in infinity war, not just showing them sweeping up rubble afterword.
Second, x men were and are my first love when it comes to marvel, but I really quit giving a shit after x3, not that any of the films were bad as stand alones, but MCU spoiled me with continuity and an overall story that was is going somewhere and x men just never got it. I do like Hugh jackman as wolverine, but I hope to god they find someone else for the MCU reboot. unless the next film has dark Phoenix shatter time, thus explaining the poo storm of a time line they’ve established I really don’t see any reason to salvage anything from that universe.

I get where you are coming from. I like most of the X-Men movies and only hate one and am so-so on one, but I like them juset as much as the MCU movies. But I will absolutely agree even with DOFP (possibly my favorite superhero movie period) the continuity is a flippin mess. I've never seen a series where so many things just don't add up. And that's mostly because after the first three movies they really had no plan and were winging it. So I agree, let's not salvage anything from this timeline/universe, let's just have a fresh start in the MCU.
