Not sure of the exact name of it but Hasbro reused that exact mold in their evergreen Spider-Man line from the late 2000's (2008-2010 maybe? They had a yellow cardback) and painted him in more comic inspired reds and blues, just a heads up!

I love the super posable Spider-Man from Spider-Man 2 as well. The sculpt and articulation on this thing is still absolutely beautiful.

One thing I found interesting is that while it's generally agreed that the facial likenesses now from Hasbro (using the new printing technique) are top notch, I think some of the older ToyBiz face sculpts were better than what Hasbro was putting out until recently.

Was it Spider-Man Origins? They reused some of ToyBiz's movie molds.

I was just at the Walmart nearest me, the one with a pitifully small toy section, to grab some Epsom Salt, and actually found Marvel Legends in the toy section for literally the first time. It was the Infinity War Legends (3-4 Iron Men, 1 Cap, 1 Proxima Midnight, 2 Songbirds), but all but one of the Songbirds had their BAF parts missing. And it wasn't the "carefully cut tape, remove item, reseal with another piece of tape so it looks like nothing happened" type of situation, they were just blatantly ripped out. It didn't occur to me until after I'd left that they might mark them down for damage/missing parts, which would be fine by me since I'm going with Figuarts for Thanos.

Hopefully I can score Amazon pre-orders for Thor, Ant-man, and Wasp. They all look phenomenal.

TBH, the entire wave does look good, but I don't think I want to drop that much coin.

It was that line, but there was a subset called like "Spider-Man Trilogy Heroes" with just movie figures, my friend has the figure but I dunno what it was called in that line. Wish I could be more helpful!

Damn, now I gotta track that Spivey down lol. I like the bright colors much better

EDIT: upon further inspection, that isn't the same mold. The upper thighs on the one I have isn't the ball style like the one you found.

The Tobey Spidey from the very first film was never re-released in any other lines but the original film's one. The Tobey Spidey from part 2 however was re-released on a number of occasions.

If there is ever any confusion to this, look to the midsection and the hands. The SM2 body added a couple of extra about joints, as well as invidually articulated fingers. The first Tobey Spidey did not have these points.

Yeah, the one I have has the better thighs and only the middle two fingers are articulated.

Fourth ? I thought only 3 came out thus far, unless you're counting BP wave too.

Found Domino and X-23 at Gamestop... they had a bunch of the Deadpool wave... saw everyone except Cable at multiple Gamestops. Just need the X-men wave to show up there now.

It really has held up well over time. It's so good that I didn't feel compelled to buy another Spider-Man figure until sixteen years after its release, when I picked up Infinity War Spidey this week.

So I picked up the infinaty war cap today, mainly because I didn’t get the winter soldier cap when it came out and now regret it, and because I like the new shield... only a couple thoughts, and one complaint. The face isn’t as bad in person, it’s the hair that isn’t right. I’m thinking they biased it off the preview screen of him running at the camera. They should have given him longer relaxed hair. Now my complaint...

Why one freakin glove?!? No where in any thing Ive seen from movie shots, promo shit or on any other figure is he sporting one damn glove! Why the hell did the designer decide to Michael Jackson caps shit up? I’d rather they just give him no gloves than one! Especialy when the wrist wrap is molded on, but the alternate fist hand is gloveless! What the fuck is this! My only guess is they figured the shield will cover it? I don’t know, seems lazy or shitty or something. I dont know it’s just been eating at me. I was going to paint the right hand glove on, but I need something for a wrist wrap.

I used one of the leg pouches from an extra Scarlet Spider that I had lying around for the wrist wrap. It's a perfect fit. Any of the ankle bands from the new Deadpools would work nicely as well.

Found a SpiderHulk the other day. It's not a knock off, all 10 fingers, paid $50.
*sorry for the sideways pic, did this on my phone*

The first TObey SPiderman 1 Film had the NON ball jointed hips if I remember correctly.

For Spiderman 2 and 3 they used ball joints. But There were versions without the ball joints for all 3 films, but they lacked articulation in either the arms, the abs, the boot or a combination of all 3. Sometimes the figures also came with action features on 1 arm or leg and some had a neck that only swiveled......

......Seriously, must have been 30 variations of the TObey SPiderman figures. I think I have them all...because they included great bases and accessories.
