Magik is the must for me. I'll pick up the Cap/Ms. Marvel/Radioactive Man set because I do want the R.M. Also Scarlet Witch, Hill and Coulson. But I think that's it for me, with the Magik being the only one I'm actually excited about.

Oh and of course I must snag the 2014 SDCC Exclusive. That's a huge must for me. lol

Planned as a store exclusive but didn't say which one.

Also think I read the breakdown as Star Lord from the SDCC pack that might have a new deco, RR BAF with new head (so prolly no leg articulation again), Groot BAF with new head, Drax on beefier Hyperion body, and Gamora on Moonstone body.

Sounds ideal to me, honestly.

Nope, that pack is pretty much a one stop shopping experience extraordinaire. 2 bafs, 1 exclusive, 1 upgrade, and a much needed figure on one of the best female bodies available.

Machine Man, Capt'n Carol, Scarlet Witch & Hellcat are the bests & def must-haves.
Fury, Hill & Coulson are great.
Spider-Woman & Hawkeye are solid & will be welcome additions to my collection.
+ Magik (waiting to see the proto but i'll probably get her no matter what)
Not to mention the Cap/Ms. Marvel/Radioactive man 3 pack & the classic GotG 5 pack that are most certainly not gonna be available around here...

So YES, I'm very happy with this year reveals.
Good job Hasbro, just make sure we'll see all the figs in stores. Thank you!

They said classic so I'm almost thinking its like Infinity watch Gamora and Drax, Green Rocket and Maskless Star-Lord.

My hoped for list would be (way more than five, but any combination of these would please me): Warlock (need a new one), Bug, Mantis, Phyla-Vell (whatever moniker you want to use - Captain Marvel/Quasar/Martyr), Moondragon, Cosmo, Major Victory, Groot (with uniform), Gamora (comic canon), and Drax (I don't hate the original as much as most - but a remake is in order - I saw a custom using the same legs and Toybiz's Savage Dragon upper-body that was/would be perfect). I would of course hope they feature the uni's from the post "Annihilation" run, given that its this specific team that I'm building out....everything is about me and my wants!

I'd be cool with either version. When my friend texted me from the panel he said "classic GotG" at first so I immediately thought it'd be the original 1969 team which would have been kinda awesome. :P

Yeah Charlie-27 would be cool, but the relevance with newer fans might not translate. However, in the way of obscure characters, we are getting a Machine Man (AWESOME! although his appearance in Nextwave makes him somewhat current).....

Machine man was in the Ms. Marvel comic with Spider-Girl last year before they put her in the space outfit. When they made her Captain Marvel, MM and SG left.

I guess that explains his appearance out of the blue in a figure line-up. I thought it was because he actually is a reserve Avenger....It would have been cool to get a MM head minus the cowl/cap? he wears to start a Nextwave team build. Of course they would need to make Spectrum/Photon/Captain Marvel (lots of name changes for her - Marvel seems to abuse the Captain Marvel title - everyone has sported it! Genis-Vell, Phyla-Vell, Noh-Varr, and Monica), Bloodstone, Boom-Boom, Dirk Anger and Captain....that won't happen though except for maybe Monica....

I still cannot get my Gamora to stand up...every few days she falls, I even try to use the ROML stands but no dice. I really hate the cheap plastic that they use as the female bodies cannot support the upper body and eventually the legs give.

I am glad for any spiderman but wish they would have revisited past looks that people missed out on, MacFarlane for example should not cost 100's to get.

mine stands perfectly on the ROML stand. you have to almost have her lean forward.

Last year it was a couple of days after it ended, if I remember correctly.

It could be anytime from monday morning till when ever. I think last year it ended up being wednesday morning, I don't remember. Before it was always monday morning, but I think they held off a day or so to check inventory before they put them up. They have had problems in the past with orders not being filled. Mattycollector always waits a week for this reason on their after SDCC stuff.

That line-up would make my day. I would love a post Annihilation Warlock. Gotta have Cosmo! I would honestly like the Martyr costume for Phyla. I dug it.

It might not translate at the moment but Marvel is already banking on a GotG craze because of the movie. They are actually releasing a new series with the original lineup titled Guardians 3000 later this year. If name recognition hits well, I would expect the original GotG line-up could head to ML form later if the series becomes popular with new fans. I would personally like a Starhawk so I am kind of hoping it goes somewhere. Even bigger plus for the comic is that Dan Abnett is writing it.
