In B4: "wwaaah...it's not Jim Leez...snarf snarf...
Good looking figure. I know it's 80's punk Storm, but this really has an X-Men Apocalypse feel to it, which makes me want it more. So...either you own this...or you found a pic of this online? Sorry...I suck at innuendos. If you found this...give us some info...as in where? Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 05-14-2018 at 10:44 PM.. |

Well thanks Wal-Mart. I really did not need to drop this money , but seeing a whole case on the shelf at once is getting more and more difficult. Also picked up a second Cable so I can do some custom and kitbashing work with an extra Nuke figure I picked up super cheep a while back. This mart in question got in one case of DP Legends and one case of Infinity series 2.

Finally saw Black Panther(absolutely loved it BTW) and I want T'Chaka Black Panther and "tactical" gear Killmonger legends now.
Also watched "The Wolverine", which was so much better than Origins. |

Best ever use of that meme.
They're not available here, yet. Blame Canada! Buuuuuut if you do have a friendly connection up in the frozen North, you might be able to bribe them to pick up a figure or two for you from the Apocalypse wave. That's the only place I know of that they're showing up, so far. I suggest you bring maple syrup to the negotiating table. |

I feel like Malekith is going to be the hard one to get the loose BAf piece from. The other 5 are pretty top notch figures, but I have and like the SDCC Malekith better. Anyone , like myself, is only buying him to complete the BAF of Cull. Malekith will most likely peg warm hard, so eventually I am sure he will hit clearance. But I am sure there are some who did not get the SDCC version who want him, right?

Questions for my customizers out here:
While I still fully plan on getting 80s Storm, I want to do a Jim Lee Storm custom in the near future. Off the bat, I can see 3 problem areas for an inexperienced customizer like me: 1) White paint 2) The shoulder pads (I'd be worried about trying to sculpt them from hand and them being too fragile and breaking off) and 3) finding a cheap Marvel Legends female buck to work with that won't require too much modification. Any advice? |

I'm guessing Malekith and Black Knight should both be easy to find in the wild. My comic shop has them in spades.

I wish my local store would order figures. I have to special order them if I want them, but then I have to get the entire case. |

Anyone in the San Diego area: the Poway Walmart Supercenter has Thanos. Just came back from picking one up, there were still about four left.
They've also got droves of the MCU Thanos BAF wave, and about a case's worth of the Deadpool wave. Good luck!

I forgot the Thanos figure even existed and that I still need it. I'm going to a few stores tonight for the first time in a month so maybe I'll find him, or Mysterio or Black Knight or oh who am I kidding. I'll find nothing I'm interested in. Ah well.

One issue I'm having is that Thanos' left arm pops off easily, but I chart that up to his origins as a BAF, and it's fine as long as you're not directly pulling on it. Otherwise, he's gorgeous. Smelled like a jar of Testors enamel when I opened him up, though ![]()

Wal-Mart had a lone set of the Deadpool wave so I said f**k it and got the classic Deadpool. It does have a lot of empty space in the box though. Were a couple of guns seriously too much to ask?
There was also a bunch of Blu-rays that had Deadpool on the covers I guess to promote Deadpool 2? I got War for the Planet of the Apes for about $12 and it has him riding the horse instead of Ceaser. I thought it was pretty funny. |
