I'm glad so many of you are finding IW wave 2 at your Walmarts, I took a drive on my way home Tuesday night to the three local Walmarts that brickseek all said had plenty of the SKU and they all did. With Wave 1. So, no dice for me.

I'm not in any terrible rush, so I'll just wait a few weeks and see what the landscape is like then.

My local store just restocked the first wave too. I'm positive the second wave will get around eventually, I didn't think it would land until mid-June.

Those Deadpool Thanos pictures are funny, but Thanos should kill Deadpool instantly for hugging him. YUCK!

The news of a classic Avengers heavy wave is great news to this classic comic figure based collector. 1st off, that Hawkeye in the BAF All father wave was the crap Marvel NOW version not 1st app version. All white Vision is also not 1st app version the crap Multi colored versions that came out in the Hulkbuster BAF wave are also not 1st app based.

Classic 1st app Hawkeye/Vision are long overdue. I would love to see Vision put on the new Sunfire buck. Classic Antman as well.

I'm hoping we get long overdue versions of classic Thor/Ironman done in a 3rd vintage wave

Picked up the Malaketh, Ant-Man and Wasp figures from the Cull Obsidion wave this morning and my Marvel Select Thanos showed up in the mail as well.

I'm thrilled with Malaketh. I was worried that his hair would be a brighter yellow than it is. I would like the SDCC version slightly more but I am satisfied with the color scheme on this single carded version. I'm glad I didn't spring for the SDCC exclusive set.

Ant-Man is okay but I'm going to have to touch up a few spots on his paint. There were 3 to choose from and they all had different paint flaws, so it would be best to try to find this at retail so you can compare paint. That Paul Rudd head is huge and pretty fugly IMO. I'm going to throw that Paul Rudd head in with my old inaccurate movie Ant-Man when I list it on eBay to sweeten the pot.

Wasp is pretty great. She's got a good amount of accessories. My only complaint is that the wings don't have much range of movement. The unmasked headsculpt is looks good too. I wonder if anyone will use the alternate head to make a Betty Brant custom from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies.😉

I liked Thanos in Infinity War, but I hate the helmetless, sleeveless look for him in the movie. I think this Marvel Select comic style Thanos looks realistic enough to stand in as an MCU version. After hitting him with my wife's hair dryer he's surprisingly possible for such a big figure. I wish he had an alternate head with a different expression, but aside from that I don't have any gripes.

Two months until SDCC (well 2 months starting tomorrow but close enough!) I'm hoping we start seeing some leaks and lists, and can start making predictions on what will be shown. I'm sure for 2019 we're going to have AT LEAST: an X-Men wave, 2 Avengers Waves, 2 Spider-Man waves and a Captain Marvel wave (that's already 6 waves right here) and probably a Netflix wave as well...thoughts on what else there might be?

Have we seen the ANAD Wolverine figure before now? I don't recall. Picture from The Little Toy Company.

I don't believe we have. Very good to know it's confirmed! Another legacy character (and IMO one of the only three that matter) down. And now we'll have all three in ML form! I can't wait for this wave. I was half and half on the line up anyways but it's the BAF that does it for me.

Why oh why are my two big waves for this year just so late in the year???

I honedtly wish that wed gotten the weapon x deadpool outfit and reserved the underwear one as somekinda exclusive along with chickverine and been given revanche instead. They coulda put her in a champions sdcc set or something.

Yeah the Pantless Deadpool is a WTF moment. I mean it has some humor for sure but it's a very off the cuff figure to have decided to make.

Now that I have seen her, I'm really digging the new X-23 Wolverine figure.* I like most of the wave. The 2 Deadpool figures are passable for me, but I want that BAF so I'll probably get them.

I just did a quick Google search, turns out that that's the picture for the 3&3/4" ANAD Wolverine figure. I assume a 6 inch version would be similar to that smaller one.

1 - Shift your fingers, my man. It looks like you're typing out a cold
2 - Revanche would make even less sense in a Deadpool wave. Fact is, he's done repeat guest appearances in All-New Wolverine, they've teamed up multiple times, and they're both linked to the whole Weapon X jazz.
3 - Why would Laura be in a Champions set? She's neither an active or reserve member. At least including Monica Rambeau, Sif, and Elsa Bloodstone in the A-Force set made sense due to their appearances in the series (Monica and Sif in Vol. 1, Elsa in the back-end of Vol. 2)

Yeeeeah, the moment I saw the first image posted, I thought I recognized it, and that's exactly why. Not to mention, the smoke effects are incongruous with the rest of the wave (and all other 6" ML promo photos), since they only appear behind her. Until we get an official word, I'm not believing this 'reveal.' I'd really like to, but I'm not going to get hype until I have a reason to.

Dyslexia rears its ugly head again. It looked okay when i first typed it haha.
I guess i just associate lauraverine with that cho-hulk kd arachnid khamala khan fosthor era.
And i guess i was hoping for a classic x-23, this time on a larger body with foot claw. And revanche is so in need of a fig. Bishops xse first appearance outfit isnt really dp associated but at least we got a non-meat tank (lookin at you toybiz version) fig of him. Plus its onestep closer to my favorite era of xmen the outback days.

Bishop/Omega Red for me, my wallet thanks you again Hasbro. The DP saturation is becoming overkill IMO. Before the movies, hardly anyone knew the guy existed asides from comic book readers.

I would take a revanche figure since it would mean we'd get an original body Psylocke.

FWIW I do really believe she will be the final (?) as yet unrevealed figure from the wave, it's been a year or so that I have thought it's unbelievable they haven't made her yet along with JaneThor and Kamala, and the other two came last year, so it's about time we'll get X-23verine.

I don’t know how to feel about the DP lineups, I love them, but it really just looks like a DP heavy x wave to me. Where’s slyback, copycat, Kane, g.w bridge, Gideon? And maybe a grizzly BAF? I get a lot of x force figures because he was really a big part of there story at times, but has DP really got that much history with bishop, Sauron, or omega red? And I’d have preferred zen pool, AOA deadman wade, or even DP in marvel girls dress to the two shoehorned DPs we’re getting here.

But like Nash said to get that Sauron BAF they could literally shit in a box and I’d buy it.

Is that another Nerf gun that Bishop is holding? And also I like old outfit X-23 better... just wish it had an alternate unmmasked head. Hopefully any new X-23 Wolverine will come with an alternate unmasked head.

Biahops weapons are futiristic enough not to ( hopefully ) be stupid nerf weapons....but undies deadpool has the same crappy toys that somino did. Im really not liking the non realistic weapons theyre putting in figs,

I could have sworn that build-a-figure and a few of those figures had been revealed at one of the major toy cons, but I don't think we've actually seen the line. The build-a-figure looks fantastic.

Until today I have never experienced a ML where you couldn't pop off the hands.

I'm trying to replace the Wal-Mart Winter Soldier's right hand but it feel impossible to come off.
