I love this photo, so I'm going to go ahead and bring it to this page. Bonus points for using the good Cable. 80's/90's Cable is cool, but a little cheesy for my tastes.

Every time I see that Bishop promo photo I laugh. The shoulders sit too low and throw off the proportions. I think it's just the pose but the distance from his shoulders to his chin look hilarious.

Saw the Avengers wave 2 at Gamestop (everybody except Black Knight)... such a good looking wave. Don't think I will have the power to resist buying that Widow... and that is the best Thor figure I've seen yet.

IMO that Colossus just ruins any group pic IMO. LOL. That has to be his worst costume. *googles X-men Colossus* Actually... you know what... like 99% of his costumes are pretty horrible... he has like one good costume design.

All the figures there, save All-New Wolverine, had been revealed previously. This was just one website's supposed confirmation that Laura was also part of the wave.

Thanks, I thought there was something off about it but I didn't think to check for 3.75" figures, just the 6" news archives. I'm glad actually, I don't like the upper torso on the 3.75" version, hopefully they will use the Silk upper torso or something similar for the 6" one.

I'm gonna grab omega red and bishop. The rest aren't necessary for me.

So when is this wave actually coming out? We still haven't gotten the X wave yet either.

Several years ago I wouldn't believe this, but it's a shame more stores aren't like GameStop.

I did an inventory search, selected a location right by me, and ordered IW2 Thor. An hour(ish) later, I got the pickup e-mail. Went there, the Manager greeted me within seconds and asked how he could help me, I told him I was there for the Thor he's holding for me, he went under the counter and pulled it out, easy peasy transaction.

Got Thor, glad to have him, even at a slightly increased price just for the ease of access.

Those two and Sauron are what I want, so that means I have to get the whole wave.

A lot of eBay retailers are claiming that the Venom wave should be shipping sometime in mid-July, with many of the pre-orders being for Carnage and Venom together. With only 5 figures in the wave (unless they announce a 6th at SDCC, because we haven't received a BAF wave with only 5 figures in a LONG time...) it's my guess that they're definitely going to be both double packed, which will be nice for anyone who missed out on them the first time, especially with Carnage, as Venom was already double packed with the Sandman wave at one point.

Typhoid Mary is on the list to be the 6th figure. I'm guessing she'll be revealed by SDCC which, granted isn't that long of a lead time (or concurrent), but there's no reason to suspect she won't finish out the wave as everything else from the list was accurate.

Sweet pic of the Klan! All those figures are bomb! Hasbo did a real great job with all those figures, especially Domino. She is a just a really great looking female figure, I had to grab her when I saw her on the shelf, even though have the "Old School" 2 pack ML figure of her. Also, love that Colossus figure, but like others, I wish they made him in his yellow and red uniform, which was on the 90's X-Men show.

Speaking of Thanos and Deadpool...

"THANNY! Oh man, it's been ages! How ya doin', still pulling the 'nice guy' routine for Death?"

"Remove yourself, fool, before I make you wish you could permanently die."

"Awww, don't be like that, Thanny-pack! Come on, we've got that magical love-triangle, romantic rivals thing that all the YA authors love to heap out these days! It's a marketing gold mine! And that's not even getting into the shipfics!"

"I mean, come on, how can the deadliest California Raisin not want a little piece of this, hmmm?"
"I will make you suffer for this indignity--"

"Eh, you're right. Why go for the slashfic audience when hurt/comfort fics are all the rage? MEAN BEAN MACHINE!" *GUNCH*

"Oh, man, the resemblance is uncanny. This is totally like The Parent Trap! The Hayley Mills version. Of Course."
Sweet pic of the Klan, man! All those figures are bombastic! Hasbro did a freakin great job with all those action figures, most especially that beautiful Domino figurine. Domino is a just a really awesome looking female figure, especially up close. I saw her on the shelf at Walmart yesterday, and I had to grab her off the shelf immediately. Also, that Colossus figure is a bad ass sculpt and I like that bearded head accessory, but like others have mentioned previously, I too hoped that they make him in his yellow and red uniform at some point and time, which is my favorite costume for the steel titan...Also, can not wait for that comic Thanos to hit the Walmarts in my area, I will definitely be getting two of these figures.

My guesses for box sets are:
1.) Captain Marvel/Ms. Marvel
2.) Infinity Gauntlet

I think a set focusing on Carol Danvers is most likely since Captain Marvel will be the first MCU movie after Ant-Man and the Wasp. And of course, we have Avengers 4 next year. Part of me wanted to include a Venom set but I'm not really sure what they might do since they're doing the Life Foundation symbiotes in the Spiderman and Venom waves.

BAD MOON mentioned a Fantastic Four set with the John Byrne costumes and a Dr. Doom. While I think that is certainly a possibility for SDCC, we could also see those costumes at retail if Hasbro does a second Vintage wave later this year.

SDCC....usually a surprise....I'd go with the F4 also...repaints and maybe something like Dragon Man or Doc Doom.

I can also see something that pisses people off like a 90's X-Men except with accessories....such as Cyclops with effects.

I am hoping for some 12" Marvel Legends to be continued....still silent on that front. Last release was in January....with Deadpool.

Ahh...I had forgotten all about Mary being on that list.

I'm torn on Mary though, at least with a Venom wave. Outside of that Venomized Daredevil comic cover, I don't think she's ever run into any version of Venom in the comics, either to team up or to battle with. Her in a Venom wave would make NO sense.

On the other hand, I REALLY want a Typhoid Mary figure. She's been one of my top ten wants for years. I still covet my old Toy Biz Vault figure. If they can give us a figure half as sexy as that one was at the time, with all of the benefits of modern Legends tooling, I'll be a happy camper.

You know, I hadn't considered giving Gamestop's inventory search a try in a while, so I gave this a try this morning, doing a search for Wave 2 Widow. It said it would not be available for sale until 6/1/18, but curiously, it had a listing in a store nearby. So I packed up the kiddo and off we went.

I got there, and she actually was there (although, she was on hold for someone else...early bird gets the worm I guess.) I wasn't too bummed because I ended up finding Thor and Malekith as well, so I grabbed them both.

Truth be told, I was really lukewarm...almost disgusted when I saw the announcement of yet another Thor for wave 2....but after having this guy in hand for a bit, I'm converted. The color pallet is simple and muted with some awesome gunmetal tones, and the sculpt is REALLY well done. I especially like all of the etching on the round plates on his armor, it brought with it a level of attention to detail that reminded me very much of what ToyBiz used to do back in the days. The headsculpt is meh...as I am not a fan of lumberjack Thor here, but it does bear a good resemblance to Hemsworth that tops that of the Ragnarok waves.

Honestly, I only have two gripes about him, which are minor. First, the new hammer could use a bit of paint detail, as it's really bland. Secondly, my figure was a bit soft and somewhat gummy. It's not consistent with the other MCU figures in the wave, and it honestly hinders the figure somewhat, as the hands are also a bit gummy and he struggles to hold the hammer with it properly.

Still, this is the closest we've gotten to receiving a proper Ultimates version of Thor, which makes me happy (unless of course Hasbro decides to suprise us with a box set at a certain summer convention in the near future...)

No pics of Malekith, as we have all seen him before, but for what it's worth, it's a really good re-release. The color choices on the figure are really good, and are super crisp and clean on mine. I also like how they implemented the shoulder armor, as it hinders the articulation in nearly no way. I was never really big into the character to begin with, but I like the fact that they went with his look from the original Marvel Handbooks, and it also helps that I had no attachment to the SDCC version as well.

Anyone know what this wave was? Found this old promo image from 2007 or so and it doesn't look like any of these ever saw release.

Thanks for the idea. One store near me actually had Thor and surprisingly...only Thor. I was able to snag him to complete the wave. For anyone else looking, Gamestop's search seems to be finicky. The figure did not show up searching Marvel Legends or Marvel Legends Thor but did when searching Infinity War.

Yah, Gamestop is pretty much my best hope of getting Pyslocke and Wolverine. I got all my Deadpool wave figures there having not seen them anywhere else. Just got the new Black Widow there yesterday. I don't do order and pick-up though... I just use their online inventory checker to see if any stores have it in stock or just check my nearest one like every friday.

Also... Black Widow's new vest fits on Domino too... wish it were blue instead of green though.
