Personally, I think a July arrival for the States is possible since a few people in Canada have managed to get the entire wave already. And it's the next wave after the Cull Obsidian wave which has already started showing up.

Correct me if I'm hearing wrong, but isn't the Deadpool Wave 2 and Venom wave also supposed to street in August? If that's the case I can imagine the X-Men will ship out before the others...this is likely the most anticipated wave of the year for the majority of people, AND we've already had a Deadpool wave and the Venom movie isn't until what...September? October?

It was my impression that the ‘B-List’ was a subjective list from a financial property perspective during the period Marvel went bankrupt and began selling it’s ‘popular’ names to other studios like Spidey, X-Men, Fantastic 4, etc...

What’s monumental is that Marvel Studios had taken what was not sold and turned it into the highest grossing franchise of all time...in under a decade’s time. Not to mention breaking various box office records along the way while making billions.

If they hadn’t sold the ‘A-Listers’ of that time, the lesser known characters wouldn’t have surfaced to make pop culture history too.

They took many risks but it more than paid off. And now Marvel Studios is the position buy back their properties.

I believe this is the release order for Legends:
Cull Obsidian
Apocalypse
Sauron
Monster Venom
Sp//der

Venom (the movie, not the wave) comes out on October 5th (MY BIRTHDAY!!!) I think the Venom wave is supposed to come out around the time of the movie so that will put its release around September/October. The Sauron wave "potentially" comes out before Monster Venom. That was my understanding from NYTF and Hasbro has already released pictures of the entire wave unlike the Monster Venom wave. It's possible that we may have a couple of waves land really close together later this summer.

Hasbro needs to give my poor wallet a break. I still haven't completed all of the Deadpool wave, none of IW Wave 2 yet, and it looks like we're getting 4 waves of Legends back to back, plus whatever the SDCC exclusive set is (watch it be something I really want), the Walgreens exclusive figures, and all of the 10th anniversary Legends.

Ugh.

No breaks til after The X-Men wave and SAURON (and WhoEverTheHellIsInThatWaveButIDon'tCareBecauseSAUR ON!) only THEN can we break. And It'll be good too. They have flooded the market this year, or will have by the time it's done. After 9 waves in 12 months and that doesn't include exclusives, we will be set for looking for stuff well into the point where 2019 product starts hitting, if we haven't preordered.

A lot of sellers on eBay who are already taking pre-orders for the Venom wave, promising it by a mid July to very early August release date. It's eBay, so take it for what you will, but a lot of these sellers run their own comic and collectible stores so I take it they have some inside knowledge on the matter.

A lot of videos are saying that the embargo on the X-Men wave will be lifted by this coming Friday, allowing online merchandisers to start taking pre-orders for it. Be on the lookout at your regular online shopping vendors if that be the case.

Completely separate thought on the Venom wave, but it doesn't necessarily need to release all that close to the movie, as there is currently another strong push of Venom stories in the comic world being circulated around Marvel (including yet ANOTHER retcon of the character unfortunately.)

Hoping to see a sixth figure added to that wave, either in the rumored Typhoid Mary, or maybe another character that completely takes us by surprise.

I recall hearing the new X wave was already arriving in California in some places...

All i know is i guess i'll grab the entire X wave. I'm sure it's going to be difficult to grab.

It'll be my first full wave preorder this year. No hesitation. Multiples of Madrox if I can and if I can't then I'll search for him offline. Also will be picking up the first Psylocke I find online or not, because I need that figure STAT. I mean, I need the figure. Not that figure. Her hips wouldn't look good on me at all.

I think I'll pre-order the X-Men and Deadpool waves because no way am I missing out on those figures. The rest I'm content with hunting at retail since I'm not that crazy about them, outside of a couple figures from the Sp//Dr wave.

Just got my Scarlet Witch/Vision and Ant-Man/Stinger 2-packs from Entertainment Earth and I'm really liking them both so far, but there's a slight problem with Scarlet Witch: the hair piece wasn't attached to the head quite right, and it makes her head look a little misshapen.

(You can see in the second picture one of her ears doesn't fit into the spot for it in her hair like the other one does).

Any tips on how to remove it and reattach it?

Aoak the head in boiling hot water in a coffee cup then carefully peel it. To rettach use crazy glue or the adheseive of your choice.

I was figuring something along those lines, just wanted to make sure before I tried it. Thanks!

Drop the head in a mug of boiling hot water and let it soak for about 3 to 4 min, and slowly and gently pull it away from the head sculpt. I usually grip the hair piece by the thicker parts on the back so there's no danger of tearing the bangs in the front. Carefully use a hobby knife or a straight razor to separate the head from the hair piece in places where the glue doesn't come apart, and above all else take your time while doing it. Don't be afraid to re-soak the head in the hot water as you are doing this if needed.

As for reassembling the hair piece, usually hot glue or crazy glue will work best. I prefer Crazy Glue. You do not need to soak the scalp with the Crazy Glue, but you do want to take your time and examine where the contact points are so you know where it's best to place the glue when you reattach the hairpiece. One placed onto the head, slide it around until it sits as desired and let it bond before attempting to place it back on the body.

I don't even get it as a complaint. Dudes being butthurt over their secret club not being so secret anymore, I guess?

I'm just imagining Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons railing about all these kids watching the X-Men cartoon.

Of course, Marvel Studios proved me wrong and I no longer doubt they really can make any property hot.
As a cosmic fan I read DnA's GotG back when it was new and from the conversational waters I tested it feels hard to say they were even B-list. Hell they might not even have been C-list, my friends thought I was describing some stoner level shit when I tried talking to them about it because they had no idea who these characters were or what part of the Marvel world they came from. I could talk to them about Moon Knight no problem and even Nova to an extent but apparently the GotG were just too weird. Given all of this I hold it against nobody that only became aware of the Guardians through the movies, though I wish Marvel themselves hadn't steered the books so close to the screen version.
