![]() Finally finished Blob! I need to hunt a cheap Quicksilver, and maybe throw together something that could pass for Toad and Avalanche. |

The ToyBiz version is the only one I know of, besides the MCU version.
The articulation on the ToyBiz version doesn’t look great at all, but the face sculpt is pretty awesome. I wouldn’t mind seeing an Ultimate Marvel version at some point. |

The Avalanche that came out around the time that X-Men 3 was out was a great figure. He somehow managed to miss the gimmick features that some of those figures had, unless you count his rock display base, which would shake. The sculpt is great too. I still have the 1st Toy Biz Legends wave Toad, he could use an update, but he's still cool. Another decent option is to track down an X-Men movie Toad, specifically the one that doesn't have the jumping leg feature.
I totally suffer from growing up in the 90's where my 1st exposure to the Brotherhood was in X-Force with a team of Toad, Pyro, Blob, Sauron, and Phantazia. Then other guys were added in like Avalanche and Commando and so on. But the original Magneto Brotherhood is still great. |

Honestly as much as those would be cool id like to see some teams get done. Maybe even get a villians box set of the MLF or the Upstarts. Get some villians like silver samaurai ( who believe is being made ) sinister, gideon, superia, titania and wendigo. Even get sinsear and cyber maybe. Hell throw in exodus, cameron hodge ( make hodge a deluxe fig so he can come with his huge suit of armor ) and fabian cortez.

X Men female villans wishlist RANT:
Scream's hands are a pretty good indication that Deathstrike is coming out eventually. I just wonder if they will go with her classic design or the more modern version with long black hair and chopsticks. The Toybiz version was a pretty good figure but a shelfwarming disaster. As for Mystique, I think there should be 2 releases with minor paint variations as we have seen many times before. For the main line, have her arms and legs painted the same color blue as her head, and for a SDCC Freedom Force (Pyro, Avalanche, Blob, Destiny) boxset, have them painted a darker shade of blue than her head, as they were often depicted in the comics that way. With Typhoid Mary's corseted torso, the obvious reuse is Emma Frost (who could either be the Hellfire Club version or a modern interpretation of her Astonishing look, I personally want both) but it also would be great for a Black Queen figure with 3 different heads (Jean, Selene, and Tessa who would just be the Jean head with black hair. I would buy like 6 of them.) I want a new Spiral, but she can wait. And finally, Madelyne Pryor. Obviously The Goblin Queen would be the preferred costume, and I think they could take some liberties withthe costume to make it shelf acceptable (mainly just ditch the underboobs). |

New to Legends, my budget is pretty tight for the next couple of months but I WANT that X-Men wave... Gonna need to buy singles. Any advice on what order to buy to avoid disappointment or giving in to scalper prices?

Although Wolverine is 2 to a case, his previous releases in his brown costume sold quickly at most outlets. The previous Storm was a TRU exclusive that was hard to find while the previous Psylocke was an SDCC exclusive so both characters are long over due for updates. I would make these three your top priority right now. Gladiator should be the last figure from the wave that you pick up. Gladiator's 3.75" figure in the Marvel Universe line peg warmed at most stores to a ridiculous degree. |

I heard some gripes about how fast Dorkside got the preorders out for the last wave, can’t remember who the poster was. I’ve never purchased anything from Dorkside, are they generally pretty reliable with those preorder dates?

Hopefully since there isn't a current X-wave on shelves this one can get properly distributed and with Wolverine being 2 per case his online prices might not be bad.

I just can’t understand why the jugs wave wolverine is going for 40-60 on eBay, while the vintage wave version, which is the exact same figure, but with a more comic accurate paint scheme is 12-15? And I saw the unmasked head from the vintage one going for like 12+shipping by itself? Collectors are a damn fickle lot. I’m not really sweating finding the x wave at retail, Walmart’s already got slots for them, and even out in podunk I’ve seen the DP wave in its entirety at least three times. And the first time I found them only Paladin and x-23 were missing.
