A Dora Milaje army builder figure along the lines of the Nick Fury/SHIELD soldier would be amazing. Maybe Ayo since she has been in two of the MCU films now and two other DM heads.

So far we’ve had...
1. Mysterio : green head/ white head 2. IW cap: light blonde/ brown 3. Psylocke: black hair/ purple hair Maybe they’re worried they’re overwhelming collectors so they throw in some variants to entice us and distract from fatigue? I do like variants though, I think it spices the hunt up a bit. ![]() Especially since the first one peg-warmed so hard (in my region, anyway). |

One thought that occurred to me for the Black Panther wave:
Hasbro could do God Emperor Doom from Secret Wars 2015 because he fought the Illuminati during that story line. Then it'd be an easy tease for a Walgreens Exclusive Classic Doom. It could also serve as a double (though not entirely accurate) for Future Foundation Doom. There you go, Hasbro. You get 3-in-1. I'll accept money through Paypal please. |

The reverse up here. Namor and Iron Man sold through, Black Bolt lingered some, and all of the movie figures sat on the shelves until they were put on clearance for $5 (and even then, I’m not sure if they actually sold or were moved on to liquidation outlets).

The only figures I can find from the BP wave anymore are Black Bolt (he's easily the top peg warmer of the wave in my area), Namor, and Iron Man. Even after the movie's incredible popularity it surprises me that people wound up clearing out Killmonger given the amount of complaining about his copy-and-paste design, plus he was two per case.

Kilmonger is unique though, the sculpt is complerly different, and I’ve always liked the gold accents on the BP costume.... but honestly if I didn’t need him to complete The BAF, and if I knew at the time he’d get a re release with maskless head i’d Have waited..... by the way looking at the two pack makes me wonder, where the hell does allMichael B Jordan’s hair go in that mask?

The toy is using the wrong hair for that point in the film, by the time Erik becomes BP his hairstyle is changed to be more flush with his head and swept back. I still absolutely intend to get the pack anyway but technically it is inaccurate.

Is Ronan going to be sold at any physical retailers besides Gamestop?

All the MCU BP sculpts have been awesome, I’d like to dry brush one with metallic purple or gold to bring the sculpt details out more but I don’t have an extra.

*Captain America: Civil War got multiple waves, but was an ensemble film packed with other characters more akin to the Avengers flicks. |

Yeah, but there were news stories at the time about shortages of BP figures. A number of them had, (and I’m not trying to poke any bears here) “political” inferences. Maybe hasbro just trying to overcover there own asses as to avoid any appearance of bias? Just a thought, again, not trying to start anything. But that said, if we do get another BP MCU wave who cares why.

Quick question about Hasbro's Black Panthers thus far: Do you think the Walmart exclusive Black Panther is a good comic representation?
Also, for tonight's photo, we have Cable lighting it up! ![]() Have fun, all! |

Which one? IIRC, there were two. The classic Black Panther and "Pink" Panther. Both are great figures, just depends if you prefer a classic or modern look.

![]() Thanks for answering! Have fun! EDIT: I just looked up the Pink Panther. I really dig the head, but I'm not as sold on the figure as I am the classic look. |

I know a few lower level buddies who work at certain large toy companies and they know the bosses are not very happy with the sales of certain figures and are forced to lose money on figures they know will not sell, but are handicapped by progressiveness and the license holder(s). I tried to keep it as vague as possible as I know what usually happens when certain ideology is challenged and hope it does not get deleted. |
