Don't let the coloring fool you, Punk/Yukio/Forge Storm's outfit was never intended to be white. Cool looking tho'....if you frequent "all white" affairs...

So, for all of those encouraging me not to worry about Dorkside's delivery delays, extolling of their great (and anecdotal) experiences with them...all four of my orders remain in the "processing" phase. Should I be worried now?

I kid...anyone else still waiting?

"Those who cannot share my vision will be crushed by it."

Picked up Doc Ock at Gamestop for 25% off which given their usual mark-up ultimately just dragged the price below retail. They also had the Yellowjacket set but it's going to have to drop closer to half off before I bite. I really like how this figure looks even though mine has multiple spots of minor paint sloppiness, the head sculpt is great classic Otto. If I were walking into this figure blind I'd be upset about the non-articulated tentacles but even knowing in advance I still think Hasbro could've at least given us some swivels at key points like they did for the 4" figure to help with variety and space management. I took inspiration from the recently concluded SDCC and used a doll stand to prop up Otto so his more unruly tentacles could act as legs.

That Doc OCK is SWEET! Can't wait to get mine!
I know I'm always singing "Classic Storm"
But another character I REALLY want is Nighthawk from the DEFENDERS. Anyone else want to see Kyle Richmond made?

Like others have mentioned, I made use of GameStop's 25% off on action figures by picking up the Thor/Sif set. I can't get over the absolutely amazing face work on Sif. The Jaimie Alexander likeness is on point. Disappointing that the character herself has slipped off into cinematic obscurity, but on the bright side she's got a great figure.

It's been a couple days, but I'm still shootin' pics! I picked up a Multiple Man from Walgreens, while waiting for my case - because Multiple Man - and also decided the Vintage Wolvie needed a pic all his own.

Have fun, all!

It's funny that the Venom wave seems to be available now more so than the X and Spidey waves. I have most of what I wanted from Spidey and Venom waves already but that whole X wave is still calling my name.

I got mine online too from HTS but I'm just saying even online the X and Spidey waves seem harder to come by. I've seen some of the Spidey wave at retail like Gamestop and Walgreens.

Still waiting. Granted I've still got the "processing" phase for the MCU Vision/Scarlet Witch set that I'm 99% sure won't come. I've had very good experience with Dorkside, but it would be nice if they had some other description than "processing" from the moment you place the order. Like, awaiting stock, processing, shipped.

As an aside, Dorkside indicated last weekend they were expecting a huge shipment of Marvel Legends this past Monday. They have not confirmed they have received via the forums, and many people have asked about it, BUT I can also see it takes time to answer the forums. If they took the time away from processing such a huge shipment to answer questions on forums, it would take longer to process shipments. I'd rather it get done, but I wont' deny it would be nice to see one post confirming that they got shipments in and are working through them. Don't have to even say what. Granted though also they do have an official customer service route on their website people should be going through.

That said, I will support them, unless I find waves at retail first, which I think is completely understandable that if I were to I would cancel preorders I have online. But I'm homebound for now due to an injury and haven't been able to get out and hunt for the last year due to other circumstances, so online is probably safest for me.

Also this may not mean much via online, but they're really cool people. THey are local-ish to me, within an hours drive, and I've met several people from there, they all seem really to really care about the product, the hobby, and the customers, are fans as well as suppliers, and aren't there to just make a buck (though of course, they're in business so their main priority has to be profit, but that doesn't mean they don't care about their customers either.)

In summary, I'd say not worry, we're all waiting here. You'll likely get an email soonish- like the next few days, of a status on at least some of your stuff.

Thanks for the insight, Nash. I'm not worried, I just wanted to see if there were others waiting. I haven't even contacted them...figured (punny) I've waited this long, what's another 2 to 3 weeks...or a month more...

I ordered June 22 the day the pre-order went up so I am readily waiting for my order to ship.

Count me in the boat of "patiently awaiting for Dorkside to ship my Apocalypse wave". They have no control over how fast they get stuff in and are able to ship it, so I've just gotta stay cool for now. I am debating on seeing if I can get a black-hair Psylocke, because I think I would like having her with the head from the purple-hair variant as my main Psylocke and maybe just having the darker-colored one as a pseudo-X-Force version until we get a proper version of her (which you know Hasbro is gonna give us)

In the mean time, I have Doc Ock, Elektra, Cloak and Dagger all coming within this week, so that should help tide things over a bit.

Just noticing on Dorkside the X-men wave moved from July to August release date. That could mean several things:

A: They didn't get the shipment in, which I find unlikely becuase if they hadn't gotten the shipment in they would have likely responded online saying much , ie, if they aren't responding it's because they're too busy processing the shipment.

B: They got A shipment in, but it's not the X-Men stuff. Could be too busy processing what's come in to respond that they didn't get the x-wave

C: They got the X-wave in, and are shipping as many orders as they can, but the remainder of the orders will be preorderd for August stock. That is my hopeful situation, that some of us will get our orders in July as originally anticipated but those that order now won't get til August.

Also D: they got the orders in but are now being told to hold the orders until August 1st (noting that's the date that Amazon has as in stock, which of course is estimated.)

Weirdly enough, BBTS seems to have been getting some X-Men figures as people are finding it in their pile of loot. Yet everything over there is still pre-ordered for August outside of Wolverine (who's in stock).

Much like everyone else, I’m waiting for DorkSide to ship my X-Men wave too.
I was looking back at the San Diego comic con news and I started thinking about what the build a figure could be for the next X-Men wave. They said it was going to be really big so I started thinking maybe it would be Master Mold? They could even split it into 14 pieces and spread it out over 2 waves if needed. I’m just thinking that it would force the package size to increase and therefore the price would increase which would kind of suck. Have they said anything else about the BAF?

See, I think that "really big" is misleading. I'm really thinking it's "big" as in "popular" while still being worthy of a BAF. If we don't get Nightcrawler in this wave I think the BAF will be Beast. I really feel like since they're going to be the two expensive figures to mold, one of the two of them needs to be in this wave and the other in 2020's wave.

I'm guessing that this is likely, as EE seems to be doing the same thing, at least with smaller retailers. Don't know if it's any different from individual buyers' orders.

The First Shipment for July is Full so They now have Pre-Orders for August the next shipment. Dorkside has already said that he had talked to Hasbro and that their first shipment would arrive by Friday or Monday of (June 20-23). He would report the status As Soon As Possible mentioning he would be practically staying the night at his warehouse on Monday processing orders. He received 1000 cases mainly Apocalypse Wave and some Venom and Spidey.

I just found the full wave complete with BAF on eBay for $180 (which is more or less what I'd be paying at Dorkside for the faster shipping) so I went that route. It says it should get here by this coming Monday. It's also coming from within the state of Texas, so that's a bonus.

X-Men Apoc wave just showed up at my Target in Louisiana! Picked up the purple-hair Psylocke figure.
Left the others behind, for now, I know Wolverine is two-packed so he should be able to find afterwards.

So is it just me or has anybody else been having trouble finding the Cull Obsidian wave at retail? I almost never hear about it and I haven't seen any figures from it in the wild. I fear this may end up like the Abomination wave, coming so close after the last Avengers wave that stock doesn't have time to clear out first.

I only ever saw it at Gamestop when they first came out. Grabbed Malekith and Thor and never saw them again after that. I ended up grabbing Widow off of Ebay.

Ain’t just you man. I’ve only seen Wasp, Malekith and Thor once each at GameStops. I picked up Thor and Wasp but since then nothing. I was able to get Black Widow off Amazon for $20 during my prime free trial. Still never seen Black Knight or Ant man for some reason In person.
