Yep, at the Unboxing Toy Convention in Mexico City. Panel's supposed to be at 2:30 (Pacific) tomorrow. MarvelousNews has some contacts at the convention and should have any information up as soon as it's available to them, along with anything that gets snuck out onto the floor earlier than that.

Just came from Target...they had the 10th anniversary Hulkbuster, crossbones and Iron man packs. Got a lone Dr. Octopus from the SP//DR wave and a vintage Black Widow for my Typhoid Mary mod. Anyone looking for these sets? I'm happy to pick them up for you!

Wow, my Targets have done a complete change. The figures are on the other end of the toy isle while the dolls are closer to the video games stuff and the stores still look like barren deserts. They did have all of the movie two packs though, but no more X-Men stuff.

I don't understand Target though. They have all of these figures on clearance end caps, but they still haven't put Beetle, Speed Demon, Havok, and Misty Knight on them.

Yep one day shipping for me too. It's my main source as well. I will wait until they get the newest figures regardless of how long it takes. Speaking of new figures, I don't get the argument about there being too many releases, you don't have to buy all of them. The one argument I could kind of get with is the possibility that more releases mean less quality control even though I don't know how much grounds there is to make this assertion.

I think the thing is that people WANT to buy them but they don't have money to keep up with all the new releases

I think that has to do with the fact that it shares the dcpi with all spiderman figures.

Nice hauls, everyone. Think I'm going to give my local Target another try for the new waves, tomorrow. Really hoping to find Purple-haired Psylocke, Typhoid Mary, & X-23verine. Storm & Wolverine would be nice consolation prizes.

Has anyone ever tried to put Netflix Punishers arms and jacket on Man Thing wave Blade? I'm thinking about it but I've never cracked open a ML torso but I'd figure it's comparable to other lines. Just don't know if the arms would be compatible.

Really want a Blade and since Epic Heroes was cancelled but the blade we got doesn't quite do it for me was gonna try my first ML custom. Figured I'd get that cast of the Epic Heroes head and paint it. Only needs 4 paint colors and I got 2 already.

Just curious before I take the plunge.

Since the torso for the Punisher is a unique, MCU sculpt, it may cause problems if you try to switch the arms to the standard Legends Blade. The disc at their base might not slot in properly to the new body. I haven't tried it myself though, so I honestly couldn't tell you.

Cracking torsos is always a risky proposition, especially with Legends. It's not something I have been able to do reliably without occasionally ruining the canvas, so now I just kit bash the hell out of figures when I customize instead. If it can't be done with hot water and paints, I'm not interested.

That said, I've done a number of Blade customs over the years. My favorite one this far was my most recent one, using the Spider-Man Noir figure and the parts and attachments from the new Blade. That figure features pretty good articulation, as well as a set of hands that works great with both swords and guns. I also had a lot of fun using the Demolition Man (Scourge) figure with a different custom. I think it works well for an armored version of Blade.

I've also seen people do decent customs of Blade using just the Netflix Punisher's body on it's own, so that could also save you the trouble of trying to crack a torso if you're okay with that look.

Not sure if that helps at all, but I hope it does. Good luck!

The Apocalypse wave seems to have hit my gamestops as well, but the online store inventory checker thing only shows a bunch of mags, storms, gladiators and multiple mans at my local stores... no Psylockes or Wolvies.

^ Yah, they always had... it is usually for games though. For example...

https://www.gamestop.com/collectible...-figure/161217

Under Check Store Availability... you click View Stores and it shows you which stores have them in stock. Where I am at it is pretty darn accurate.

I went into Target hoping to see a rejuvenated Marvel section given stories of people finding the X-wave and Target's site claiming my local store had 10th anniversary sets and the exclusive packs. None of that happened, the Marvel section looked like it has since April and the only new thing they had (that I care about) was a couple of Killmonger packs which were still in the back room and not out. They didn't have price tags indicating that they would be getting any new stuff, I had to track down a manager and request it directly. Anyway I got this set for full price with full acknowledgment that in as little as a month they could discount it. I quite like the figures though, Killmonger's colors really pop compared the more dull single release and the MBJ head is fantastic. Ross is admittedly a lazy reuse and there are a number of characters who'd have made more sense in this pack but I like Martin Freeman and this is actually my first figure using the suited body so overall it's not bad.

Damn, that unmasked Killmonger does look pretty badass. Don't think I could spend 40 bucks on basically one figure I want... unless I really, really wanted it. Passing on the Winter Soldier 2 pack at my Target was so hard... that new Winter Soldier figure looked so good.

Yeah that Killmonger from the 2 pack really pops, hopefully those packs will warm and I can grab it on clearance.

I preordered Storm and Psylocke from Gamestop and only Storm came in. Wierd. They didnt get a whole case, just Storm, Mags and Gladiator. I tried to inquire about why that was and the absolutely dreadful employee I was dealing with gave me nothing helpful to work with. I cancelled my Psylocke, but Storm is great!

Appearantly gamestop gets legends by individual pieces to each store, mostly the small gamestops whete as larger stores, wave dependent, may get a whole case but mostly its individual figures. They cone that way from the warehouses to each store. One of the guys who works at a gamestops i frequent and know well told me that when i asked if they got any black knights.
