So there's a Walgreens Exclusive Dr. Doom rumored....but he's the Invincible Iron-Man version.
Ughhhh why does Hasbro do this? They know which costumes we want (though God Emperor Doom from Secret Wars would be okay). |

Anyways that's probably it for me for the day. Extremely tired and I've got a Weredactyl to put together. |

My Toybiz holdouts are becoming few and far between. Sinister still holds up well but he probably doesn't have long left (unless Hasbro pulls a Gambit and just makes a hideous looking figure...pre-final judgment until I see him in person- the Hasbro pics aren't good though)

I wonder when he's coming out. Are they shifting from Thing to Magik/Mystique(rumored on the latter). Will they just do a mix for a while I wonder. What about Super Skrull. I'm wondering if that's one's legit or was supposd to be Silver Surfer since he's been reported in their system for well over a year and...nothing. As much as there's other characters I'd love to see made Doom would seem to me to be the last "core" F4 to get made.

The 1 thing that has me worried about the New Gambit is that his Trench Coat is going to hinder his pose-ability. Unlike the Toy Biz Gambit who has a Cloth Coat.

I would hope Hasbro can do better for any of the old Toybiz figures considering those figures are 12+ years old now.

![]() ![]() My local shop got in the Apocalypse wave. I’m. Just waiting on Psylocke to get here. As others have said, Storm is the highlight of this wave. The head sits slightly strange on the ball, but the paint application is flawless. I wish I could say the same on Magneto. The paint on the helmet and suit lines are rough. I’ll have to hunt a better one at retail. Sabertooth has that plastic issue on the sides of his face. Gladiator and Multiple Man don’t have too many issues. Apocalypse doesn’t have too much range of arm motion with those gauntlets on his forearms, but his color scheme is awesome. |

The arms might be hindered, but if Multiple Man is any indication, the trenchcoat will be made out of a soft almost rubbery plastic.

Unless I get a custom done of him. I am going to hold off. Nothing beats a Cloth Trench Coat.

I'm not a fan of many soft goods... but that plastic coat Hasbro uses is just plain terrible... Gambit- being a big jumping and kicking and somersaulting kind of guy really needs soft goods.

They should take a page out of Storm Collectibles book. They use some sort of super soft plastic for coats and such that allows great articulation. Its on both the Bison and Ken figures i own and works wonders.

So I wanted a more "classic" looking Green Goblin for my Spidey villains shelf so I tried a thing:
![]() This actually looks pretty great. You'd probably need to paint the purple to match the purple on the rest of the figure. I'd say you'd need to paint the green to match too, but it doesn't even match on the OG Hasbro head so *shrugs* |

Over the last couple months I've gotten a bunch of new ML figures and I've finally had a chance to take some pictures and collect my thoughts.
First up, Cloak & Dagger ![]() Cloak – Meh.... I think they dropped the ball on this one, I don't hate the new head sculpt and the paint is solid, but there's really no posability. There should have been a second open cape or some kind of articulation the cape ala the 90's Spawn figures. They could have saved money and given us the head, hood and cape included as an accessory with Dagger. ![]() ![]() Dagger – She's pretty basic. They missed the mark by making her flat white instead of pearlized white. The plastic she's mold in feels off and her accessory is really awkward ![]() ![]() Last edited by Veronica Mars; 08-10-2018 at 06:27 AM.. |

That still doesn't excuse them for why my order has not been shipped out yet. I preordered on June 4th, the day they went up and it still hasn't been shipped out.
