Was able to take advantage of the Ebay coupon day yesterday to pick up Omega Red and Bishop at around retail after the discount shipped. Can't wait till they get here, as it will signify a break from Legends for me until the IM3 set drops.
In the meantime... ![]() |

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but the Walgreens exclusive Silver Surver is now up on the site to order! Order quantity x 2 to get free shipping, and then unload the other copy on ebay or give to a friend if you are kind like that.

The Apocolypse figure looks so nice with the Gauntlet...It looks nice in general. I wish there were more figures from the wave I actually wanted. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Found him! Well an employee found him for me but that's not the point. I think he's pretty fantastic (read that as a joke if you like) and only have one sour note about it and even then it's about the board. There's only one peg on the board for his feet to attach to and it maybe could have done with being a little wider. The underside of it is just flat plastic too and while I don't mind that I imagine some people will. As a figure on its own though Mr Radd is superb, the articulation is all the greatness we've been seeing of late and the paint is really well done albeit minimal (though it ought to be). His effect pieces look and fit the character better than most of the uses of these "Kirby-bubbles" pieces (that's what I call 'em) and then all of his alternate hands are very much appreciated for the variety they afford his posing. All around really cool.

Who is left in the x-universe that would make a good BAF? I think SILVER SAMURAI would be a good one and one of my top 3 choices!

I somewhat remember in The Fall of The Mutants, the New Mutants fought a baddie shaped like an egg with goggles? Wish I knew the name, I think they'd make a cool BAF!

Spiderman BAF I'd love to see is Stegron! An Avengers BAF we desperately need is Skurge!

Seriously though, cool picture. To answer a question above about a good BAF for X-Men, what about the Reaver dude who has a tank for legs?

Did not know that. However, wow, wtf? Despite having bought tons of Marvel figures from them, I only have 1020 points. What do you get, 1 point for every $20?

Yeah. It’s kinda bullshit. They also run deals like 4 cokes for $12 and you get 2000 points if ya buy all 4. I’ve only got a 5dollar reward coupon from them once haha

Yeah, that seems like a waste. I mean, I bought all 6 Netflix figures from them, the three members of the Fantastic Four, Medusa, Blackbolt, Vintage Captain America, Vintage Wolverine, the exclusive DareDevil, Namor, the recent Namor figure, the exclusive Punisher, Carnage, etc. I should have way more than 1020 points.

I’ll welcome Skullbuster and any of the other Reavers including a new classic Lady Deathstrike.
For BAFs I would love a Silver Samurai or Shiva. The best points at Walgreens are the ones you can get for free without purchasing anything. It makes the discount sweeter.

Spider-Woman. (Both versions.)
The Jean Grey wasn't terrible at the time but Hasbro put it to shame. Nor was the Storm in from series 8 but again, I'm sure Hasbro will manage to be superior. Both the Warbird and Kitty Pryde from the Giant Man series were decent. Beyond that though, yeeah I agree. Between the scary as hell (and not in a cool way) Deathstrike, Scarlet Witch on meth, and Black Widow with the neck scar, to say nothing on the worst ML ever, their Rogue, their women got the shaft. HUSH Nitelife. I can hear your thoughts from here. ![]() |

1) Join Beauty Enthusiast. Most people assume it's just for makeup and stuff like that, but the program actually includes basic hygiene products as well. Stuff like deodorant, body wash, facial soap, hand soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc., all qualify. Basically if you spend $50 on those kinds of products, you instantly get a $5 reward. And that's cumulative, so you don't have to spend $50 all at once. So you can spend $10 on hygiene products today, then spend $20 like 2 months from now and another $20 a couple months after that and you'll get the $5 reward. 2) Look for the green stickers, those will usually tell you to buy a certain dollar amount worth of a product to get a 3000 ($3) point reward or something like that. There's also stuff in the monthly deal booklet that might get you extra points. 3) Those coupons that print out that most people throw away can actually be extremely useful for accumulating points. Some will say something like "Spend $35, get a 5000 point reward" or "Spend $10, get a 3000 point reward". You just buy an amount of products worth that amount (doesn't include dairy, tobacco, alcohol or stamps but everything else, including Legends, is fair game) and give the coupon to the cashier to scan. Essentially, you could buy two Legends, then have the cashier scan one of those coupons and get $5 back basically. The only problem with that is that it seems totally random which customers get that coupon. They also have one of those 5x points coupons in the weekly ad often, especially when a holiday is coming up. I must have racked up at least $100 worth of points in my year working there and I was able to get pretty much all of the exclusives that came out last year and this year for like $3 a piece. Silver Surfer only costs me $8 after shipping. One of the managers managed to get at least $300 worth of points before she spent them all. Last edited by SymbiSpidey; 08-09-2018 at 11:56 PM.. |

Again I'll say Nimrod. Shadow King's astral form would be cool, they could do Amahl off of the upcoming Kingpin but it'd be easier to just include his head with an X-figure the same way Kitty came with proper Onlsaught's head. They could do a new Blob or Mojo. It would be interesting to see them make Glob just from a visual standpoint.

Yeah, it wasn't a great film, but I enjoyed it for what it was. I want a fan of the Street Fighter 2/M Bison body swapping plot point, but it wasnt like they were going to explain the sentient ship full of alien technology that was left behind by a fleeing Fantastic Four villain either... I just thought it was a bit interesting and coincidental that this current X-Men wave featured not only Apocalypse and three of his four horsemen from the film, but the figures also featured looks that were very similar to their movie counterparts, including a mohawk wearing Storm, a Magneto clad in maroon and blacks, and a variant Psylocke that had purple hair and a metallic paint deco for her bodysuit to give it more of a sheen (to replicate the darker latex attire Olivia Munn wore in the film.) |

Sooo..
has anyone ACTUALLY seen the Infinity War Wave 2 at retail?? I've NEVER seen one figure from this wave anywhere (in da wild) ..and with 3 new waves plus MCU anniversary figs released in addition to older figs sitting on the pegs/shelves. I'm wondering if they'll ever hit. I ask because truthfully...my Wasp's arm broke right out out of the package so I wanted to return it. Does Hasbro replace things like that?? Has anyone ever called them and done this??

So..what’s everyone doing with their old figures after all these rereleases? I’m feeling bad for my ToyBiz figures.
