So what if it's not in the comics anymore?

Thought I'd give this a try. Probably a shot in the dark but being the nearest TRU to me is hours away, does anyone have a Storm MOC for a resonable price or trade? She's the only Xmen legend I want and there's no way even if I was to make a trek to the nearest TRU I could justify the cost if I don't find one. And I'm sure the scalpers will have beaten me to her. So thanks in advance for any help my fellow arkers can offer.

I need help standing a figure, it's not Marvel, but it is 6.5" tall and it's feet peg holes are too shallow for a base. Does anyone here have a recommended waist stand that doesn't impede display value?

It has come up often in the last few pages of comments; the Tamashii stage Act 4's are pretty versatile.

This thread has functioned as a defacto advertisement for this stand as of late (maybe they should consider us a sponsors ), but that fact does not change the reality of it being a great stand....they can be pricey, but you get more than one and they have many attachments.

Update: I see someone beat me to extolling yet again of the virtues of Tamashii stage Act 4's lol

May the toy gods be with everybody and we all find the figure(s) we want from this wave.
It's a solid wave for sure. Mags is a sideways improvement since he's not perfect but I friggin love him. So he's definitely a YMMV type deal. Storm is a must have I think. I haven't been readig the Marvel NOW stuff but I always dug the mohawk look and it's a new body. Prolly one of the best looking females Hasbro has done and she looks awesome in lightning hadoken poses.

Yeah I didn't bother getting Wolverine, no swappable head and waaay too orange. I think I used a Geonosian Escape Darth Tyranus lightning effect for Storm. Hoping to grab another so she can have two at some point. The stage 4's are perfect for em. And yeah I was prepared to use Cyclops for a custom or sell him off but he really grew on me. Might be the snazzy belt. I think all I want is a Jim Lee 5 pack since I always loved that era of costumes.

Having a complete team of Jim Lee style X Men has been a dream of mine since Marvel Legends started. Jubilee will always be the hole in that (when the figure was first shown I was so incredibly irritated that it was her modern look), but alot of them are in desperate of an update so

Cyclops
Wolverine
Gambit
Rogue
Psylocke (SDCC 12 repaint)

Would be worth the price for me. I try to keep my action figure purchases at $50 or less at any given time, but I'd double it for those figures. I think I like how unique all the costumes are and yet they still look like a team. It's the belts.

My Cap knee is fine, you probably got a dud. A lot of recent figures have came with very loose joints due to the NEW cheaper plastic, YET EXPENSIVENESS, legends.

Years I returned it and bought two more. One had a broken shield and one had a bad shoulder paint. So I ended up keeping the good shield and good shoulder paint one. The legs are better but not the best. Does his legs pull off the ball joints?

Alot of chatter about Tamashii stages over the last couple pages so I figured I'd show this.

I paid $20 on Amazon for this set of 3 and was very happy with the purchase. It comes in a collecter friendly box and contains;

3 stages (with 3 arm holes in each and clear plastic nubs to fill the unused holes)
3 articulated arms
3 straight arms (good for standing figures straight up and not much else)
3 articulated arm clips
3 straight arm clips
3 flight clips (only fit on articulated arms)
4 stage connecters (very tiny)
3 waist grippers (for the straight arm and articulated arm clips)

My only complaint is that there were not more waist grippers so there are always pieces of them not in use. Thankfully, they go right back in the box.

Yep! Both the camera and satchel are from the TMNT movie April figure.
Dammit! Now I have to hunt down that figure...

I must have bought 4-5 of those Stage 4 sets and one of the Saint Seiya stand sets. Great for both MU and ML. The Saint Seiya ones have bigger and sturdier claw options for the slightly bigger guys like Hyperion and Gladiator.

I used Hit Monkey's Glocks since they fit really well in her hands.

Not a big big legends collector yet, they're growing on me. Anyway, I picked up storm & magneto the other day. I'm thinking about selling or trading magneto. I'm keeping Jubilee's arm just wanna offer up magneto. Check my BST if any of you guys are interested.

Made a new classic Reed and Sue to replace my old Toy Biz Legends FF figures which just weren't aging well in my display. Also repainted my Spider-Woman (still need to do the yellow triangle on her forehead, but I'm too lazy at the moment).

Yes sir it is... the old Danger Girl figures make great fodder. I had this head on the old Toy Biz Sue body for years but finally got tired of her looking like a marionette.
