"But the next time you see something in [the Blade universe], mark my words: what we did before is child's play compared to what we can do now."
"Kevin Feige previously indicated that the character's return was an eventuality, it's just a matter of when or where. As for the who? If Wesley Snipes has his way, it's going to be him once again" ohhhh i just got CBW again. I haven't had that since the trailer for Civil War when Spider-Man popped in. FUN FUN FUNNNNN and no seriously.....GO WATCH BLADE AGAIN!!!! |

How can I watch it again if I've never seen it?

Yeah, I mean I'll take a 50-something Wesley Snipes over a 20-something Boyega every time. Who better to play a half vampire than an actor who really doesn't seem to be aging like everyone else? Dude can still hack it.
I actually do want to see that one, haven't seen her dispensing beatdowns since .. Alias, maybe? Which I loved her in, even if that show leaned a little too heavily on twists and shock value. I guess that's the spy thriller genre in a nutshell, though. |

Wonder if this wave will have the quick turn-around from the online pre-orders to the Walgreen's shelves that the first wave had. Last year, Toyark released a front page story about the preorders for first Vintage Wave hitting online shops on Oct. 2 with an actual release date of December. Twelve days later you can find posts in the comments of members, myself included, finding the figures on the shelves at Walgreen's. http://www.toyark.com/marvel-legends...ve-1-a-178295/ |

In my universe Blade Trinity never happened. If you add Ryan Reynolds to anything other than Deadpool he will find a way to ruin the movie. Because any role he’s in he just plays himself which just so happens to be Deadpool haha

If John Boyega was to somehow find himself cast as Blade, I simply wouldn't go and see it. I can't stand the guy, and he's one of the most over-hyped actors I've seen since Sam Worthington. I enjoyed him in Attack the Block, but he's been incredibly awful in everything since, including Star Wars.
The one thing that worries me about Wesley Snipes being brought back for Blade, is that Wesley himself was a huge part of the reason why the series went south as quickly as it did. There are legendary stories of his diva-like behavior on the set, about his ad-libbed or phoning in of scenes, and in some cases (as was with Trinity) simply not showing up for them at all. Most of the action sequences for that film were filmed with stunt doubles simply because Wesley was off finding better things to do in his trailer (hence why the fight scenes to that film were season one Iron Fist levels of bad...) It's possible that his time in prison, his documented money problems, as well as the modern Renaissance of the comic book film has caused him to do an about face. Wesley does deserve to be here, and get some of the credit for the comic book film joys that we receive because the truth is that if Blade was a disaster when it dropped, the ball might have never started rolling to begin with. Marvel could have easily walked away from it, because it was reluctant to even put their name on the film in the first place, and he made them eat crow. He's every bit as iconic in that role as Jackman is to Logan, and maybe he's learned the lesson that RDJ did, that if he keeps his **** straight, he stands to make himself a lot of money (as well as a new found legacy) in the future. Only time will tell. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 09-04-2018 at 05:31 PM.. |

But I'm more worried at how well it will do in stores... don't want it doing bad and hurting a possible wave 3 which I'm sure will have X-men in it. I can see no one buying either hawkeye or black panther... I think people are getting tired of vision too. So that just leaves ant-man and wasp... this vintage wave has zero heavy hitters for the casual buyer. |
