So with the announcement of Beast, the classic X-Men Blue team is all done. All with modern figure engineering, all done by Hasbro.

Wolverine
Cyclops
Beast
Gambit
Jubilee
Rogue
Psylocke

As for the gold team, we currently have:

Archangel
Bishop

We technically have a Jean Grey, but it's an incredibly rare figure from way back and it's on an outdated buck, so we could definitely use an update. Hasbro already teased that they were doing a new Jim Lee Storm, so we should see that either next year or the following year. After that we need 90s designs for Iceman and Colossus and then that team should be done.

The X-Men wave looks to be:

Weapon X
Beast
Jubilee
Gambit
Blink
Forge
Skullbuster

BAF: Caliban

I love this wave assortment if I'm being honest.

Apparently, the Puma and Six-Arm Spider-Man figures were suppose to be revealed next weekend at Italy's Comic-Con.

At least Hasbro disappointed us early, but I'm hoping they're going to sneak in a Jim Lee Storm, Classic Thor or Count Nefaria there.

It should be easy enough for them to just take the Juggernaut wave Iceman's head sculpt and just retool it for a more classic look, since I was able to do it with an X-Acto knife and some sanding. Give him an X-Men belt and he's done.

For Jean, the hips are really the only issue, though I'd like to see her have a head sculpt up to par with the other X-ladies we have. Her upper torso can be reused, but I'd give her a newer lower body with the updated hip articulation. They'd need to add the pouches on her thigh too.

This! I don’t even count that iceman. I act like he never happened haha. He’s the absolute worst. I don’t even think anyone even asked for that design of him either.

So oddly enough, it seems that Union Jack has toe articulation despite being on the 2099 body.

Wonder if that's something they're trying to phase back in.

Where are you seeing this? I'm looking at those feet and they look pretty normal to me. Beast has toe hinges and we can clearly see the pegs for it but UJ's feet seem totally normal (no articulation pegs).

So it appears, at this current moment, that the only female figure in the Captain Marvel wave is the obligatory MCU Captain Marvel figure...if so, that's a damn shame. smh

Beast looks great! He looks like he’ll have a ton of articulation too. Makes up for what we aren’t getting in 6 armed Spider-Man. I understand why he is missing an ab crunch, still a bummer. Once they finish up the X-Men Blue squad, it’s Gold’s turn. Fingers crossed.

If the rumors of the X-Men vintage wave are true, then I def think we are getting a retooled 90s Jean Grey for the Gold Team.

So now we have Songbird and Citizen V. I'm thinking it's very likely we'll see Mach IV soon, using the Ultimate Beetle body as a base.

The promo shots of Beast show him with two fists but the figure in the case at London CC has a right gripping hand and an open/flat left hand. So he should have at least two pairs of hands, possibly three.

Union Jack doesn't have toe articulation. He's using the Spiderman 2099 feet which have that detail sculpted in. I think it was supposed to be a protective toe cap or something like that.

What’s the chance of us getting a classic hulk either as a baf or like a store Exclusive? Because I desperately want one now after getting the thing.

X-Men wave

Gambit

Blink

Jubilee

Weapon X

Forge

Skullbuster

Beast

BAF: Caliban

Looks like I’ll be ordering a case again for this solid wave. I like everybody in this wave and I’d buy more of The Reavers if they release more of them. The ones I want the most are Bonebreaker, Donald Pierce, and Lady Deathstrike.

I would want Beast to also come with a Classic head so that he can also go with the classic X-Men/X-Factor.

Hell yeah! Blue Team will be complete! Bring on the Gold!

I really really want one but I hope he isn't a BAF, I'm doubtful they could make an Avengers wave at this point that I'd want every single figure. The new Thing figure shows that Hasbro could do a classic Hulk in a standard legends box so even if it was also exclusive I'd prefer that route.

Hasbro was asked aabout a new Hulk at NYTF 2018 (I think) and their response was that they were trying to determine the body that they should use for the figure. The choices they mentioned were retooling the Juggernaut BAF, retooling the Ragnarok Hulk BAF, or making a new body.

The new body for Apocalypse could also be in the running now too.

IMO, the Beast looks pretty good and so Union Jack, but please, Hasbro, don’t get too hung up on reusing parts, for example the Citzen V looks like a reuse of parts from the Black Daredevil...Hasbro, please be creative!

I'd be good with the Gladiator Hulk body. It'd need new arms and legs and a Buscema head, of course.
