The black/gold armor is pretty sweet. I wasn’t impressed with the black/gold variants for Marvel Legends or S.H. Figuarts but I’m loving the Mezco version. I definitely recommend him if you want to put him in your hall of armor.
When I first saw the promo pics I thought it looked like a relatively "boring" simple black & gold repaint and was fine skipping it, but when in-hand pics started popping up I was really impressed with the mix of matte black and that particular sheen of gold they chose, it just really really pops; I'm not entirely regretting missing the pre-order as I'm trying to keep my Mezco collection relatively restrained, but there's part of me that really wishes I could've gotten it.

I just wish it was on the proper body and not just a classic armor repaint.

Eh, I don't know. Seeing these colors on the classic armor instead of another modern-style armor is kinda unique and refreshing.

Interesting seeing how that custom come together, but my only question is why drop the extra cash when we already know a Forge is on the near horizon?

Sad news about Stan Lee passing. I could go on and on about this man, but I'll just say...thank you Stan. Thank you for giving me characters to grow up with and the idea that I can be more than a man.

Stan, you were the man! God bless him and his family. Ever time I think of ‘Marvel’ I will always think of you.

I was away all weekend and most of today and I came home to the news about Stan. Very sad news. I'd like to share a quick story.
A number of years ago at New York Comic Con, I was leaving a panel with a few friends. One of my friends spotted an open door that didn't have a mass of people trying to exit it. We walked over, I was in behind everyone. Suddenly, a few security people asked us to stop and I heard my friend say "Stan the Man!" Sure enough, Stan Lee was walking into the room and towards us. I don't remember what everyone said, but as he passed me, I said, "Oh my God. Stan Lee." He smiled, shook my hand quickly and patted my back and said "Hello, true believer!" I was pretty cool. I wish I had the chance to say more to him.

Considering it's was done with Hot Toys figures, and it comes from Tomax, who has hated on them in past...I doubt it. Very well done and touching shot though, who ever made it.

On another note, Venom's total box office numbers passed Justice League's this past weekend. No one can say that Stan didn't go out on top!

Yea i saw that hot toys pic on Instagram. All i gotta say about that is Tomax posting pics that aren't his? Whaaaat? But anyway venom has made way more money than i would have ever thought. I actually thought it was gonna be a bust. Shows me to never underestimate Marvel movies whatsoever haha but Now i kinda wish Marvel legends released a figure of movie venom now haha. Maybe a Gamestop exclusive.

Talk about underestimating something i was totally blown away at how hard to find that PS4 spidey has become. I saw him once passed expecting him to be like every Gamestop exclusive and go on clearance soon. But now he's sold out in every store within 90 miles

God what a day. Mere hours after learning of Stan Lee's passing we had to put one of our pugs down. (Not the one with the feeding condition that keeps me at home, but his older sister.) This has just be a day full of shit.
