Maybe they’ll release Lilandra with her classic helmet and Mystique comes with the Lilandra head with her newer helmet.

Nite... I'm cool with all the jokey nicknames you give to characters, but you leave Aquaman alone. He's dealt with enough crap from the Super Friends era making him a joke.

The new trailer for Captain Marvel will debut tomorrow night during the football game. Since Bandai has revealed their two SHF CM figures and Funko has shown several CM Pops, hopefully Hasbro will follow along and reveal some new figures like the rumored 2 pack.

Also, I just finished season 3 of Daredevil. Easily the best from all of Marvel Netflix.

Can’t wait to see that trailer. I’m not feeling the Eagles vs. Redskins game like I thought I would, but I’ll check it out to catch the trailer. I too believe we’ll get the “official” photos from Hasbro for the Captain Marvel wave. I’m not an SH guy, but I must give credit to how well her two figures are represented.

And though there has been no official announcement from Marvel Studios, I’ve heard rumblings of an Avengers 4 trailer being released this week. Seeing as the film is now 5 months away, I do expect to see a trailer soon. Marvel Studios normally starts to promote their films 6 months in advance. This one, for obvious reasons is...different.

I am excited for the trailer because the rumor that I read yesterday said that we get the Captain Marvel trailer tonight and the Avengers 4 trailer Wednesday morning. One of those things has come true so far.

Agreed. I've heard someone else say that the show ended on a cliffhanger and I don't see it. I think people feel that the after credits scene qualifies as a cliffhanger.

Which may not be a bad thing in my opinion. Subscribing to multiple streaming platforms is going to be pricier than cable. And the way they're set up now, it seems like they all have like one flagship series and the rest of their content is mediocre at best. It's the reason I passed on DC's streaming service. I love Young Justice but there isn't enough on the platform to get me to pay for it monthly.
In my opinion studios need to stick with producing content rather than trying to own the distribution.

Not sure if this qualifies as news but the Hydra 2 pack is on sale on Entertainment Earth for $28. Man, I'm tempted to wait to this time of year to buy action figures. Nearly everything I bought earlier this year is almost half price now.

While that $28 price tag sounds tempting, how much is shipping? I know they wanted $8+ for shipping on Archangel.

Thanks for the heads up.

It is hard for me to wait with the ML figures. I am never sure which ones are going to stick around for discounts and which will sell out. Oh well.

@Boy Blunder - nice! There are so many times I almost pull the trigger on getting the Young Avengers set, it consistently hovers around $100 and sometimes as low as $80 but I really don't want to add any Toy Biz figures to my collection.

I feel you on that, but my wife is a huge Young Avengers fan, and a local collector was selling off some of his collection for cheap, so I was able to nab Hulkling and Asgardian/Wiccan (headwings damaged, as you can see) for her for about $25 (and the guy threw in the Fin Fang Foom-wave Doc Samson as well).

But yeah, generally speaking, I avoid Toy Biz ML unless they're A) cheap and B) characters that Hasbro likely won't get around to soon (like Blackheart)

Maybe we'll get some more street level heroes soon. I always thought Shang-Chi would fit a Spider-Man wave.

Big fan of Shang....of Kung Fu's...hope they do it right. Shaw Bros...was my sh!t back in the day and still is. Every chance I get, I search out the BluRays when in Asia and Hong Kong.

Yes. The hero bubble will pop any day now. That robust, 10-year-old multi-billion-dollar franchise, while seemingly healthy, is in actuality as fragile as two bricks tied together with tissue paper. One mistake, one bad mis-step will cause the entire thing to shatter and fall apart.

This is the guy who said that nobody was going to see Black Panther and that it would be Marvel's first flop, so I wouldn't put much stock in his financial predictions.

I think rather than a fad, super hero’s have become a genera like westerns or sci-fi, I just think it’s been relatively recently that modern CGI capibilities allow for scope of visuals required. And remember, even a “poorly preforming” marvel or DC flick blows almost everything else out of the water at the box office.

In a manner of speaking, yeah. I think superhero movies are working because they're more of a framing than a genre. It's less like "superhero movie" and more like "X movie with superheroes".
