My wish list shrinks every year. M'Baku was right at the top and we're getting one, so I'm going to have to think about this one. In the order they popped into my head:
1. Moon Dragon 2. Quasar 3. Boom Boom 3. Scorpion (PS4 Spider-Man) 4. JUGGERDUCK 5. Squirrel Girl 6. Super Skrull (one that doesn't suck) 7. Starhawk (Sylvester Stallone) 8. Ronan (comics style) 9. (Cosmic) Ghost Rider 10. ANNIHILUS |

Great haul...although I really wish when you guys would post this stuff, you would at least mention where you found them. Target? Walgreens? Walmart? Online vendor?
Kinda helps some of us with our own searches when we go out to look. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 01-05-2019 at 07:17 AM.. |

When I made my list a few pages ago I was sticking to highly rumored or already confirmed things. These are my top 10 neither confirmed nor rumored, yet plausible things for this next year, be it releasing in 2019 or reveals for 2020. I'm not including Moonstar as she is rumored, otherwise she'd go right into that #2 spot and everyone else would drop down a peg.
1. Firestar (DUH) 2. Jim Lee Storm. JIM. LEE. STORM. White outfit. Black OUtfit. I don't care, either. BOTH.Okay I do care because I loved TAS so white outfit is my preference, but I want both anyways.... 3. Nightcrawler, classic preferably 4. Mister Sinister (and I realize, 2-4 will probably all end up in the X-Men 2020 wave, but I need to SEE them!) 5. First Appearance Storm. I know, that's two (three if you count color variants) Storm. But just get these two looks done for her and I think 90% of the vocal clamor for a Storm figure will be quieted. 6. Another alpha flight member or two would be great, let's get Northstar done first since he's the most prominent of the main group left. 7. Updated Cannonball 8. Sunspot, and since we're getting an X-Force themed or tied into wave, we'd damn well better get them both. 9. Count Nefaria. He's a B level Avengers villain but he's gotten a lot of traction of late. I could see it happening. He'd be a pretty easy figure to do with existing parts, just need a few add molded add ons and an adjustment to the cape. 10. As much as I'd like to say someone high up on my wishlist, I'm also trying to stay realistic. There's apparently going to be 3-4 Avengers waves between comics and movies and they're getting more and more cosmic, so I'm going to say Quasar. If not this year than next year for sure. Classic is actually a bit of a dated look on him so I'm good with a more post 2000 look, like they did with his 3.75 inch figure. |

lmao My wish list hasn't shrunk that much since only Apocalypse, Spider-Man Noir, Doc Ock, and Mysterio came off mine from last year.

Ran into the entire Captain Marvel wave at Walmart after work, but I wasn't too wowed by the MCU figures in hand, so I opted only to pick up Fury and the comic based characters. I'll probably be dumping the bondage-kitty, and I'm on the fence whether or not I actually want to build the Kree Sentry at the moment. I think it would make a good placeholder for a smaller sized Sentinel to terrorize my mutants...
Also ran into the Black Series Archive figures at Walmart, and found all except Boba Fett (who I didn't need thankfully...) allowing me to finally complete my bounty hunters faction as I missed out on Bossk and IG-88 the first time round. For those wondering, the likeness is much better on Luke this time around, but I still wasn't quite wow'd enough by it to warrant another 20 dollar pick up. And that one color of Jim Lee Storm shows up in the vintage wave and the other in the 2020 X-men wave. Aside note, I got my TWO cases of Kingpin wave today. I forgot Sixarm Spiderman is double packed so I'm going to have FOUR of these buggers with no real need for them thanks to no BAF part. Definitely going to be the peg warmer of the wave, considering it's also a subpar constructed figure when you compare it with Hasbro's other modern offerings. |

My Hydra goons that were on sale last December finally came in...
Note: Can’t believe that Kingpin wave is hitting stores...I know I’m probably in the minority, but I just like that Six Arm Spider-Man...I give Hasbro props for trying something bold to create the figure...I no the articulation is not all great, but six arms are sweet and freakish looking... Note 2: That S. H. Infinity War Hulk is all kinds of amazing from those pics on the home page of this site...It will be obtained...Lol...And, I wish they would have made a classic comic Captain Marvel for the movie...I can see myself buying any of the movie version of her...Yuck! But, I know will be getting at least 3 figures from that set and most likely three from the Kingpin wave, not a total loss...

I got a little burnt out towards the end of the year and held off on reviewing figures a bit, but it's a new year, and I figured I'd talk a little bit about my recent pickups from the Captain Marvel Wave: ![]() Genis-Vell: Out of all the figures in the wave, both comic and MCU wise, I honestly feel like this one here is the stand out. The original Captain Marvel has a fantastic paint job that really pops, and I love how they did the star pattern around his body. He has a bit of marblization in the plastic on his lower legs and ankles, but I feel they work nicely in favor thanks to the reflective, outer space look of the character. He's on the Punisher/Grim Reaper body, and comes with a newly sculpted pistol, that I can very easily see being reused to replace that Walther style pistol we've all come to know and loathe over the years. The only gripes that I had with Genis-Vell lies in the implementation of the shoulder pads, which interfere with his articulation. The head is also set a little high on the shoulders. I had to do a bit of dremeling to get it to sit a little lower on the neck peg. All and all, a very solid figure, and I love the paint work on this guy. ![]() Grey Gargoyle: Now here's a character I didn't think we'd see a figure of, but lone behold...here he is. Having no real expectations, I guess it's done well enough, but there's really not a whole lot to talk about here. He's also on the Punisher/Reaper mold, so he's a bit larger, and is casted in rather stiff plastic that has a nice granite deco look to it. Being that it's rather stiff for whatever reason, I'd advise heating the joints up with water or a hair dryer before heavy posing. The cape is well done, and the little bit of paintwork on the hands and feet are done nicely enough. The cape sits well on the figure, and is held on the body with shoulder straps and a back peg, although like the recent Magneto figure, it doesn't quite peg in properly in the back. I may end up chopping it off, since the shoulder straps work well enough. The headsculpt is what kinda kills this figure for me. It has a very classic, mustache twirling villain look to it, which isn't a bad thing, but whenever I look at it, I see this strange hybrid likeness between a young Will Smith and Jaleel White from Family Matters. A solid figure overall, though I can very easily see this one warming pegs two or three months from now. ![]() Nick Fury (MCU): This is the only MCU figure from the wave that I picked up...because it's freaking Sam Jackson. How could I not? All kidding aside, it's your typical suited figure, though there are a couple of things to note. One, the top torso of the figure is a new sculpt, with a slightly different collar and neck tie from the previous suited body figures we've received. It's also been upscaled a bit, and it's a bit larger than the classic suited body we've all come to know and love. The face print is well done, though for some reason, it appears that he has a green tint on the whites of his eyes when you view it from certain angles or light. Not sure what that's all about. ![]() The head from the previous Nick Fury figure will also work with this suited body, as will the head from this figure on the old Fury body, but they have different skin tones, so you may have to do some customization for a perfect look. I should also mention that the head on my suited Fury had a very wobbly and loose fitting head. I needed to stuff a bit of paper towel inside of it to get it to sit nice and tight on the ball peg. Nick is also able to hold the bondage kitty by the scruff of his neck, allowing him to interrogate it, but the kitty is not able to stand on it's own as far as I can tell. ![]() While I plan on distancing myself from MCU figures (four Captain Marvels in this wave? Seriously?) going forward into the new year, I'm glad that we got a new Fury. About the only thing I could have asked was that they included his modern look in the film with an alternate head. But why do that when you know Hasbro will likely do it with ANOTHER barely improved figure likely to be unveiled in the upcoming year. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 01-05-2019 at 07:58 PM.. |

Or I wouldn’t put it past them to do Cable & DP in X-Men colors. They could do straight repaint/rerealeases of Wolverine, Cable, & DP in both waves. Probably the case that we will at least one reuse of Cable for X-Force, probably a straight up repack of Shatterstar, everyone’ favorite version blue & purple Domino, maybe Warpath & Cannonball finally, might they throw a Wolfsbane in there? Her stock is probably gonna rise when the New Mutants movie comes out. I honestly can’t even fathom who they could do. |

Just saw that video. X-Force could include anyone. My bet for the vintage wave is 90's Jean (new body maybe), 90's Cyclops, tiger stripe Wolverine, Rogue, perhaps a new Jim Lee Storm and maybe an old style Havoc. It could really just be the most recent one with a new head.

The vintage wave typically goes for repaint with slight retooling at best. I’d expect a Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Wolverine, Magneto and either 90s Iceman or Collosus.

I expect the X waves to shake down like this
X Force Wolverine (X Force) Cannonball Boom Boom Warpath Guardian Mr. Sinister Cable (blue/yellow X Men uniform) BAF Wendigo Vintage X Men 1 Cyclops (John Byrne with lighter blues and no paint shading, modern Hawkeye unmasked head) Dark Phoenix (translucent hair, alternate Moonstone head) Wolverine (Tiger Stripe repaint, with unmasked head) Sabretooth (Animated series colors [yellowish mane] and Wolverine’s cowl in Tiger Stripe colors) Rogue (Jim Lee, flat greens, lighter yellow and ungloved hand) Cable (X Force #1 repaint, with guns) |

- Wolverine (first appearance Hulk #181) - Phoenix (white costume) - Magneto (classic colors) - Storm (First Appearance or Jim Lee) I can see the last one being some sort of wildcard of sorts. It'll be something that not all of us are clamoring for...but will be a nice suprise of sorts...like Dazzler or Rogue in their outback looks, Shadowcat in either her green or blue 80's looks, Polaris in her X-uniform, Cyclops in blue and white, a classic Havok, or even something off the wall like Professor X in that goofy X-men uniform he had when he ditched the chair for a while. |

Just saw this custom on Ebay, and I must say, this is exactly what I want out of a Meggan figure. Hopefully we'll finally get her this year!

That's a really great Meggan figure. She's not on my radar in any way but if they made her I'd definitely pick her up.
