My only 2 complaints with the new X-Men wave are
1) the sculpt of Blink's skirt is a bit extra
2) I wish Beast came with an alt head with a closed mouth

Being totally honest here.....man, that X-Men wave might be one of the strongest waves I've ever seen from the line. Every single figure there AND the BAF are wants for me.

The weakest one there character-wise is Skullbuster, but even then I really want him and I'll even try to get two.

I wish the character selection was stronger in some of the other waves.

Only real disappointment is I wish Beast had an alternate neutral head. Hopefully, some head casters get on that when the figure releases.

I'm hoping that the heads from any of my cat Beasts will fit on that body. Don't really like how that headsculpt came out.

Is that Maverick's head with Skullbuster?

That’s the first place I checked. I checked the YouTube channels of Jay C, Shartimus Prime, Boog, and Pixel Dan. Hasbro deferred the question each time it was asked, and said “she’ll be released in 2019.” And for Maw and Glaive they said “we haven’t said how they’ll be released, but they will arrive in 2019.”

My guess is that it's because Gambit will be the double pack in the line-up. Most of the figures that have no BAF part with them tend to be.

Before I forget...that second "screaming" Weapon X headsculpt is laughably bad.

Picked up a couple of the Killmonger/Ross two packs today from my local target. They were marked all the way down to 11.98...less than 6 bucks a figure. Cheapest you're gonna get for some suited bodies!

Yes, it looks quite absurd. Maybe it'll be less silly in-hand. I applaud them giving multiple figures different head options, though. I need more of that in my ML collection.

The X-Men wave looks cool, but I really wish they had given the BAF piece to Gambit because now I have to waste money on that garbage near naked Wolverine. I hated that toy when I was a kid. I hate this one too.

Forge's face looks funny, I'm not sure I like the vacant stare. Hasbro will need to add a cybernetic hand for the next version. Give the face some personality and maybe a variant body (with the hand) and package it with a classic Storm.

Other than some very minor things, this is a pretty nice wave.

Not a fan of the alt wolverine head, also agree Gambit should have either come with an alternate smirking head or alt caliban head.

I would love to see some of forge parts be made into a Shamen for an upcoming Alpha Flight wave.

Can not wait for Blink- her Exlies status means she can really be the glue for any team you can think of, but for me I'll be setting up something Astonishing X-Men specific! like... holocaust by lowanbing, on Flickr

Forge is just the cool that he doesnt need to have a scowl or grindng teeth expression. He’ll just blast away the bad guy and walk away like it was nothin’.

If you mean Forge's tasseled boots when referencing Shaman, the original Byrne run did not feature that moccasin style footwear. Shaman has been illustrated with that style of boot, but it wasn’t the look from that initial run. That said, I’m right there with you on wanting Flight. Can’t wait for Snowbird and I hope they dedicate a new sculpt to the character once Hasbro gets around to completing the team. Ideally, Snowbird should be unusually tall, yet not too heavily muscled. The Angela mold could be tweaked, but it isn’t lithe enough. The Red Shulk/Thundra mold and the new Shulk are out as options. It might also be an opportunity to fix the flaws with the large female body mold (although that may have been fixed with Proxima – I wouldn’t know because I didn’t buy her).

I might agree with you if that face looked even slightly suave, or contemplative even. That Forge head is simply way too placid.

I went out looking for anything new today at Target and it was a total bust, they had gotten the Captain Marvel wave but only Grey Gargoyle remained next to the armada of Misty Knight. I popped in to the nearby Gamestop and picked up Silver Sable and Klaue.

Sable just has a really nice paint scheme with the two tones of silver being easily distinct and clean applications. The face is appropriately no-nonsense and the hair is well sculpted with a decent wash to highlight said sculpt.

Klaue is just a fun guy, he keeps things light and apparently has a mixtape. Seriously though as others have said the likeness on this figure is great and his expression is fantastic. The arm cannon was a bit warped from packaging and the vest was handled awkwardly but overall it's a good figure of a sadly underused Andy Serkis.

Decided it was time to add J. Jonah Jameson to my shelf. I was hoping to find the BP 2 pack at Target for $12 like other had but someone bought them all and the online price went back up to $40. Fortunately, I found an Everett Ross on eBay for $16 with free shipping.

The newspaper is just an image that I found on Google Images and printed out. I cut it out in a long strip and folded the excess up behind the cover so that it has some "pages" like a real newspaper.

There have been several BAFs that could have worked but Caliban gets me excited to see an official Cyber. I would love to have him. One of those guys I liked watching fight Wolverine as a kid.
