Thank you for quick reply.
The main giveaway is the size. Even ignoring the fact that DST is the only company to have done a truly classic Ultron figure in recent memory you can see that he and Hulk are technically both in the 7" scale which is why they're bigger than the Legends around them. Figuarts, Mafex, and Mezco all release figures in the 6" scale or thereabouts.

Can anyone tell me what stores the Captain Marvel wave is out in? I know certain stores get them before others. I really only want the Grey Gargoyle, so I’ll probably just hunt one down rather than order it.

On another note, I got my Kingpin wave today. Overall they look great, except the 6-arm Spider-Man, which is trash.

It arrived at BBTS, but it's now sitting in a new pile of loot. I have about 3 to 5 pre-orders filling between here and March, so it'll be a while before I actually get my hands on it.

I also have the old Zola...so while I didn't need a new one, I do like the colors on this new one quite a bit. It also is an excuse for me to pick up the Zola torso featuring Red Skull, so I can display both alongside each other.

I thought the outcry over the Hydra cap controversy when it initially happened was way blown out of proportion, especially by the media covering it. Deep down I knew that it wasn't going to be a permanent change, and that it more than likely was going to have something to do with a Cosmic Cube and the Red Skull in the end. Sure enough, time proved me right. I did like the look of the costume however, although I wish the figure had the "Robocop" styled visor he wore frequently as opposed to just the Iron Man styled, fully closed helmet. As a Cap fan though, I'll still be excited to have it.

I'll honestly say that your best bet is to start checking your Walgreens. I've been running into full waves of both the New Black Panther wave and the Captain Marvel wave in their entireties at certain ones in my area.

So far every Target and Walmart in my area has gotten a case of the wave. The good news for you is that in my experience Grey Gargoyle is definitely the one that every store has still had when I got to them so he should be easy to find.

I'm sure it'll differ from area to area. Apparently in your area people want to finish the Kree sentry or just wanted Grey Gargoyle more than anybody in my area. He was my prediction for the least desired figure of the wave (at least upon initial release) mainly just given the character's complete lack of popularity and admittedly plain design, in the long run I could see him peg-warming. At this point with Hasbro's general messy distribution it feels harder to definitively say who's peg-warming from which wave. I've seen people here on the Ark complain about how many Ant-Man and Wasp figures they've still got clogging around but in my area that wave was pretty much a no-show and Malekith is the one straggler.

That’s good news. They might not have hit my area yet as I haven’t seen them in any of the three stores mentioned, but I’ll keep an eye out at all three. Thanks!

EBay’s Baf auctions seem unusually high. $100-$125 is the going rate for a couple of Kingpin listings. MODOK is $140. Apparently it's a sellers’ market for those looking to offload some old dusty Baf's for cash. Makes me wish I’d finished Foom, Pitt, Sentinel, and Monkey Man so that I could sell them now (uhhh, I’d keep Pitt).

I'd never get rid of Pitt. He puts just about every BAF ever created to shame. I wish Marvel could find a way to obtain his rights. I loved that book while it lasted.

Speaking of Pitt, is there anybody out there who might know an effective method for tightening the ratchet joints on his arms? Due to their size and weight, the right arm on mine has grown a bit weak over the years.

Since they use a ratchet style joint, I dont think crazy glue or polish would work on a ratchet joint, and there is no way I am going to attempt to remove the arm on this beast...any ideas?

People were talking up grails earlier, my obtainable grails are Pitt and Dragon man. I could get them both, but I'd kick myself over spending half a grand on something so frivolous. A practical and sensible thought, for sure, until I factor in the hypocrisy that ‘all-in’ for the year makes half a grand extra seem like peanuts. People here have also talked up on this hobby being an addiction. Truer words…We chase a high that isn’t without its considerable drawbacks, but gauwtdamn if this shit doesn’t make me smile….and cry a little when I reflect in the shower, where my tears get washed away. Haha!

Has anyone had any luck getting Hasbro to refund or replace a broken figure? I just got a Psylocke and her foot snapped off right out of the package. I emailed Hasbro's customer service about it, but I'm going to be really pissed if they won't do anything about this.

Have you tried looking for the figures for pitt? Last time i was searching, those figires seemed pretty cheap. I need Stryker to finish monkeyman, but of course he seems to be the rarest of that wave

Sure, I've looked. I even performed a quick cursory search after you asked and things haven't changed much since last I checked. The figs without the baf parts are appropriately cheap. However, the few disparate moc's you can find between the two Legendary Heroes waves (Pitt & Monkey Man) range from reasonable to "I might as well buy the complete BAF if I'm going to pay that..." prices. I appreciate you offering your help in strategizing how I can reach my dreams (lol I'm always open to suggestions ), but I could nab them tomorrow if I wanted. It's a principle thing for me in that I had plenty of chances to grab these grails on the cheap when they came out. I was even collecting back then (no excuses), which makes the idea of paying hundreds of dollars for them now a nonstarter.

Not reciently, but back in like, 97 I got a SW POTF removeable helmet Vader but the damn helmet was missing in a sealed package, and for you young folks this was a time before widespread repacking and easy to reseal packages. So I called the customer service line, lady answered, asked me my problem, I explained the situation, she put me on hold for thirty seconds, picked up, asked me my mailing info and told me my replacement would arrive in in 3 to 5 days. I got my new Vader. And they didn’t even want the old one back!

Spyne 98: I have been on the fence about this set, but after seeing a couple of reviews through you tube, I was hooked. I am really interested in the Supreme Cap figure. Looks great IMO, just looks very unique.

Sometimes, Arker, I think you got to pull the trigger and do not look back, sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose. I remember I had to sell to my Fing Fang Foom, I got 285 for him. I was so sick to my stomach, then luckily I won a auction and got him for 125. And, I sometimes think "Grail" is used to often to make other figures seem inferior. Grails to me are figures that you actually like and want, for example, my DC Universe Wonder Woman is one of my "Grails" that I absolutely love. Some people my not think she is a "grail" but she is to me...But like I said, sometimes you have to pull the trigger, because sometimes when you hesitate, the price on that figure you want increases or doubles or triples in price right before you very eyes...Good look on hunting for that figure. Another thing, I usually write down my "grails" on a sheet of paper, and hope to get them some day, and usually every tax return, I try to at least get one "grail" after paying some bills and credit cards.

My Walmart exclusive comic Thanos had two left feet. While they weren't able to send me a new Thanos, they did replace the figure with another. It took a series of e-mails back and forth. Because Psylocke is available on Hasbro's Toy Shop, I don't think you'll have a problem if you get a reply.
