you no longer even need to open the actual box romove figs. Just opened my whole Cap Marvel wave that way.


sidenote: Grey Gargoyle is one of the corniest figures I've ever purchased (i know some of you love him ..ha)

So I opened my figures up and the front plastic window came out with them. I'm all like WTF? That's not good because you can easily just pull the window off the box and steal the parts you want without opening the box.

Impressions of my figures so far:

Not a fan of Puma's necklace. It's warped and doesn't sit around his neck at all.

Night Thrasher looks great, but his joints as loose like they are on my Beetle (so it must be an issue with the sculpt) and the skateboard seems too small. The black paint they used really pops though.

Silver Sable seems cool, but her legs were warped in the packaging. At least she can properly hold both guns unlike Domino.

Red Goblin blows. The random goo things that are supposed to hang off his arms and legs were warped from the packaging, so they're bent against his body instead of flaring around like they should. Also, his tail does not move at all. That is extremely lame.

Black Cat - Too much black and those yellow eyes above her boobs are terrible. The face sculpt also makes her look like she is 13. I'm not a fan of the original figure due to the lackluster articulation in the legs, but at least she resembles the Black Cat I know and love. Hopefully they'll repaint this one down the line in her classic colors.

Symbiote Spidey is the worst figure of the six I have. Hell, I kind of wish the 6 armed Spidey came with the Kingpin piece instead of this guy as at least I could have had a use for that one with Morbius and Lizard. Plus, that one has the classic colors. I have no idea what is going with this dude's anime styled eyes, but it doesn't work. Also, he needs to put some shoes on.

Kingpin - Perfection, just perfection. This is the first wave of the year I have and he may already be the BAF of the year.

Also, my Target FINALLY got a brand new Spider-Man wave instock. Guess which one?

Honestly, with the success of Legends and Star Wars Black Series, I could see Hasbro trying to rejuvenate G.I.Joe in a 6 inch scale. Plenty of people make custom ones. I'd be tempted to buy them.
