I’m guessing the unit with all the same size cubes is IKEA and the other. With varying cube size is Walmart. I would prefer the Walmart one as it allows you to display bigger groups/ dios as well as smaller groups/dios in the smaller cubes.

That is the White Vision from an older 3-pk. I bought it to give the White Queen a cape, then saw that Vision made a better Iceman than the actual Iceman figure. I sliced the gem bump of his head and then used a Q-tip with nail polish remover to rub out the black lines and thin the white from some areas (he's translucent with a heavy white paintjob) It was pretty easy.

It's a pretty cool idea that you can get multiples of the this 2-pack and represent all of the Avengers in their Quantum suits via head swaps. You can probably even take the inevitable Captain America's head and put it on this figure.

Although personally I just don't have much interest in the Quantum Realm suits. I'd rather have the characters with wildly different looks and stand out from one another, so this might be a pass.

What I do like though is that unless Hasbro decides to double dip on us yet again (still a very real possibility), this gets the Quantum Realm suits out of the way, leaving room for more interesting stuff in the actual waves. I had thought the 3rd Avengers wave might just be everyone in their Quantum Realm suits, but now I'm curious to see what's going to be in the wave now.

Finished the Kingpin thanks to Hasbro Pulse. They shipped out very quick, and got here in about 3 days. I also picked up a few more pieces to Red Hulk, hopefully I can wheel and deal to get his legs.

Now to focus on finding Mystique and securing a preorder on the Caliban wave.

That's a pretty awesome display. I do hope Hasbro one day redoes Strucker and Madam Hydra.

I honestly can't tell what I'm even looking at here. Too small and too much text over the picture.

It’s Hawkeye and Black Widow with Iron Man, Ant Man and Nebula heads. Very considerate of them to knock all of these out in one two pack. Individual releases would rot and be incredibly boring. I hope they take this approach with the New Mutants, Hellfire Club females and the Jim Lee training uniforms.

i agree with you 100% this leak brought me relief, i was worried we would get a full wave of quantum suits as well.

So think I'm gonna pre order the X wave do people have a preference as to where they preorder from? I would've done Pulse or Amazon at retail but Pulse is sold out of Beast, Gambit, and Jubilee now and Amazon pushed the pre orders back to July.

So I guess from BBTS, Dorkside, EE, etc. anyone better than the others if the price is the same?

Somebody on Fwoosh pointed it out but funny enough, it seems that that Black Widow has double-jointed elbows.

Decided to go hunt down Mystique this morning before work today. Traveled to about 6 different Walgreens in my area, but finally came across a lone one sitting on the shelves at the last one I hit up (sometimes that "just one more store" mentality pays off ). Even better I got it for a $13.99 sales price that I didn't even realize was going on for the Legends. Paint isn't as clean as I'd like on the belt, but I figure I'll either hunt one down with better paint apps or live with this one, because it's really not all that bad.

When I went to the cashier to check out, she was telling me how she saw somebody else buy it not too long before I came in and I was telling her that she can expect a lot more people looking for it since it's a sought after item. That's when she proceeded to tell me that a lovely scalper came in before me and bought 5 of them off the shelves -_-

Ah well, at least I got mine. Which is great because just last night, I was this close to throwing down $30-35 for one on scalperBay.

Thanks DK- yeah, a new Strucker and Maybe H would be nice. I'm good for now with the customs but official versions would be pretty slick.

2. Many humble apologies-, Ser... ...most have slipped by... I believe it came with a Marvel Select Captain America figure. I'll do some digging...

Thank you- Iceman deserves a bad-ass figure and I think Vision does him better justice than what Hasbro is actually making for him.

Interesting set. Nice way to get a lot of retread costume/characters out at once. Can't wait for some close-up shots of the heads. Guess we can assume that Quantum Realm versions of Cap, Thor, Hulk, & Rocket will be sprinkled throughout the main Avengers waves.

I went looking for Mystique today and came up empty. The first Walgreens I went to only had a couple of Legends on the shelf and the second one I stopped at had zero on the shelves. Hopefully Mystique will be readily available at these stores in a couple of days.

I’ve also been checking the Target website for the Starforce Captain Marvel. It’s still not available for shipping but it does show that more states are getting the figure. So far its showing availability in HI, CA, IL, IN, NC, PA, VA and maybe a couple more states that I can’t remember atm.

I was visiting my brother on the other side of town, and hit two a Walgreens that have never been good to me. The last one I checked had 6 Namors with a millimeter of dust collecting, some Mesusas that had been hit by a truck at some point in their life and one random X-men box stuck between them. I almost just kept walking and figured it was a Dazzler or Old Man Logan. It turns out it was as a Mystique, and on sale for $13.99...walked out with her for less than $10 after points. The feeling I got from that score is why I still enjoy the hunt.

I haven't even found Magik. Mystique is a lost cause for now lol. I just snagged Archangel and even then only because I ordered him from Hasbro Pulse. Should be here Tuesday. I've basically had to rely on Amazon for most things so it's nice to have another option.

I did find the Kingpin wave at a Walmart today tho. So it could be worse.
