Yeah I thought that shotty looked a bit on the big side. I was more interested in his scar & a few of his holsters. I was actually talking to him about making a pistol & shotgun for my blade figure. Thinking about using the enlarged snake eyes sword from resin for Blade too.

Glad it worked out though. She came out good! Just curious Bo (and any of you other customizers out there...) what are you using to wipe the paint from the figure? I usually use nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol, but both seem to work with varying results, and your Sharon came out so clean. I had to touch mine up with a sky blue wash to tint it a bit in order to hide the fact that the flesh colored paint didn't come off the body cleanly, and ended up staining in some places. Is there a certain process or chemical that you guys use that works better? |

I'm honored by the mistaken identity, but nothing I can do compares to Veronica's. I still can't get that Meggan she made out of my head!

So seeing the Minn-Erva concept art, it looks like the figure we got mirrors it exactly. I mean I kind of suspected, but it's nice to have that confirmation. Would still have preferred one that resembles Gemma Chan, though. Oof.
Really didn't know what to expect with Captain Marvel, was pleasantly surprised to enjoy it. Good story and a lot of heart. Really loved to see a lot of the elements I love about the books getting represented so well. Would have liked to see a couple others, one big one you can probably guess, but I'll wait until more people have seen it. I dunno how Marvel does this de-aging stuff, and Samuel L. already looks fantastic for his age. So why not give us a Fury movie? Quote:

I saw Captain Marvel tonight and wanted to share some none spoiler thoughts. First off, let me just say that I've read Kelly Sue DeConnick's Captain Marvel run as well as some of the previous Ms. Marvel series (Carol's series , not Kamala's). I enjoyed both of them and was looking forward to this movie.

Does anyone have a spare Magik head that I could buy from them? I really just need the hair.
I can also trade parts for customs. I mostly have parts for female figures, but I do have a House of M Spider-Man with a broken butterfly joint and an Everett Ross body without a left hand. Last edited by usernamedustin; 03-08-2019 at 09:44 PM.. |

Just got back from seeing Captain Marvel, loved it. To me up there with Iron Man as the strongest MCU origin story, but not quite up there with Black Panther, Thor Ragnarok and so forth. But as someone who got into Marvel comics through Carol Danvers and is a huge fanboy for her I was thrilled with what I saw.

Just saw Captain Marvel! Wasn't anything trailblazing but I had a fun time and Brie Larson did a good job! I will say there was one scene towards the beginning involving some Skrulls and Carol, and, without spoiling anything, leads me to believe the director has a certain fetish (think Tarantino haha)

If you take Lilandra's helmet off, she looks a lot like the tv Robocop.
I am still looking for a Magick head if anyone wants to sell or trade parts. I have an extra Silver Sable body I don't need... |

The last time I remember anything connecting to Nextwave was when the Captain had a guest spot in an issue of Nova (Sam's run) and he bemoaned the loss of the team, but hey it's something.

If anyone is down here in San Diego today and/or tomorrow, drop by Rocket Con down at the Scottish Rite Center! Lots of booths here selling MLs and the like, including MJK Toys (the booth I'm helping with, total shameless plug)

I don't know anything about "Nextwave" but Elsa was in Damnation not too long ago.
